Dine under the wing of an old fighter plane!
    Greg B.

What a fun, new place for a great breakfast or lunch! Enjoy a delicious cheeseburger, or a tasty pizza under the wing of a glimmering old war plane in the Palm Springs Air Museum! (Museum admission is NOT required to dine.) I had the Victory Cheesesteak Sandwich, which was to die for! Best I've had in a long time. The menu is pretty extensive (even a kids menu), including breakfasts, burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, several sandwich choices, sales, soups, tacos, burritos, pizzas, and more! Prices are very reasonable, and the service is friendly and fun. Bring the family and make a day of it!

The management has changed as of around February of 2023. They have made improvements to the menu. In addition to the lunch menu they offer a small selection of donuts and pastries in the morning with coffee. I had the chicken avocado wrap with chips. It was larger than I expected and pretty good. Service was quick. A great way to have lunch or a snack while visiting the museum. This is located inside the Palm Springs Air Museum.

11 tots for $3. Ate 3 already. Burger meat is disgusting or their grill is never cleaned. Their food is Smart and Final blah!

This place hit the bar on all three of those pillars. We sat outside and a few of us ordered the margarita flight, while a few others ordered other cocktails. They were all really enjoyable and well balanced. We asked our server for his favorite thing on the menu and he suggested the steak plate and one other dish. The next person who came to our table also suggested the steak plate and ahi taco. 3-4 of us ended up ordering the steak plate, one ordered the quesabirria tacos. The elotes street corn was absolutely delicious. The sour cream on top just really sent it over the edge, the best I've ever had. Their flan was also exceptional. I'm not typically a fan of flan, but this one was really good. Top notch! Everyone absolutely loved their dish. The steak plate was absolutely wonderful. Steak was cooked to perfection, and the grilled onion was so good. The guacamole was flavorful, and it all went really nicely with the tortillas and other accoutrements. We had a great time and enjoyed amazing food. Highly, highly recommend. Pretty much all the girls agreed at the end of the weekend that this had been our favorite spot.

This review is more about the maintenance and conditions of the parklet seating area. My friends and I visited on a Sunday evening around 6:30pm. It wasn't peak season and it was about 100°F outside. Since we didn't have reservations, we were told we could only be seated in the outdoor parklet area. Another group of six arrived shortly after us and was visibly upset about the same situation and ultimately left, but we decided to stay and give it a try. Unfortunately, the parklet itself felt unsafe. My heel got stuck between the floorboards and several sections of the flooring were lifted. I nearly fell but caught myself by landing on an empty chair. The staff were very kind and helped me remove my shoe, which I appreciated. However, the outdoor setup made the dining experience very uncomfortable. We were constantly dealing with flies around our food, and no fans or coverings were provided to help with the heat or food exposure. Additionally there was a piece of hair on my friend's nachos. It was difficult to enjoy the meal in those conditions. As for the food, we ordered nachos and a carne asada plate with drinks, and while the food itself was good, the environment made it hard to enjoy it fully. The bill came out to nearly $150, and given the conditions, it felt disappointing. I would strongly recommend management: * Address the unsafe and uneven parklet flooring * Improve outdoor dining comfort (fans, pest control, etc.) * Allow indoor seating when space is available, especially in extreme heat The staff and food were great, but the dining environment needs attention to match the price point and quality of the kitchen.

There's alway places that you've walked by loads of times but never gave it a second thought. I've…read moreseen this place pretty much everytime when walking along the main strip. Palm Springs has a night market that happens Thursday night from 6-10 where it brings out people. Food vendors, arts and crafts, gifts and so on. A nice family outing on the main strip. Also all the storefronts are open as well. The thing with something like that, you tend to stand or find a seat along the curb to sit with your food. Hence we finally walked into this restaurant. It was pretty busy when we walked in but at the right time. Got seated right away as there was only two tables available. By the time we were seated, the line was pretty long. It's just off the main strip. Pretty decent size patio which seems to be where everyone was utilizing it as it was nice out. There's a bar area with seating as well as indoor, a smaller room. Service was nice. Water and menu was brought out first then came the chips and salsas. Quite tasty but can be filling if you can't control yourself. Started off with their classic margaritas and the spicy margaritas. There's a few dollars difference from classic to spicy. They weren't that bad. Menu wise, a mixture of all your Mexican dishes. We didn't have any starters as we just wanted the mains. The carne asada plate which came with both rice and beans. I opted for only rice. Thin skirt steak with chorizo, grilled jalapeño and onion, flour or corn tortillas and salsa. And the chicken enchiladas verde with the green sauce. The food was quite tasty. Carne asada plate was pretty plentiful. Nice skirt steak with a nice piece of chorizo. Both were quite tasty and flavorful. Steak was decent and cooked well. Not overly done. Then you have the enchiladas. It's decent in size but not too big. It's good if you're not too hungry. The sauce was great and was a perfect pair to the dish. As it was our first time, it was great. All these place that's been there but you walk by loads of time. Sometimes you just have to try new places out and see what comes of it. Maybe it's a hit. We quite enjoyed it and glad that we finally tried it out.

I am not sure who is posting these reviews and why?! i am not one to make negative reviews... but…read moreafter my experience everyone should know. 1. My daughter ordered a strawberry margarita and I a blackberry paloma.. they both tasted like juice.. and for what they are charging?! No way! 2. I ordered the coconut crusted shrimp, which did not come on a "clothesline" for presentation, much less with a "slaw" - it was basic at best on a pile of red cabbage... 3. My daughter ordered the chicken nachos... chicken was dry and bland...no cheese... 4 jalapenos...and they have the nerve to charge $20?! 4. I ordered the Mexican wedge salad, laughable. No "roasted corn" it was canned. No black beans at all. The lettuce was the bottom of the iceberg... and because I dont like cilantro... so I had to have regular ranch. Better off advertising as a cilantro ranch and not a serrano ranch. After all this. I explained to the waitress I was misled and displeased. Not that I was not going to pay or was looking for a free meal, but lets not mislead people. No management even bothered to come out and say anything or address us. I paid $92 that Ill never get back and I still tipped the waitress $20 because is it really her fault?! Positive the guacamole + chips were good. That was it.
