Dine under the wing of an old fighter plane!
    Greg B.

What a fun, new place for a great breakfast or lunch! Enjoy a delicious cheeseburger, or a tasty pizza under the wing of a glimmering old war plane in the Palm Springs Air Museum! (Museum admission is NOT required to dine.) I had the Victory Cheesesteak Sandwich, which was to die for! Best I've had in a long time. The menu is pretty extensive (even a kids menu), including breakfasts, burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, several sandwich choices, sales, soups, tacos, burritos, pizzas, and more! Prices are very reasonable, and the service is friendly and fun. Bring the family and make a day of it!

The management has changed as of around February of 2023. They have made improvements to the menu. In addition to the lunch menu they offer a small selection of donuts and pastries in the morning with coffee. I had the chicken avocado wrap with chips. It was larger than I expected and pretty good. Service was quick. A great way to have lunch or a snack while visiting the museum. This is located inside the Palm Springs Air Museum.

11 tots for $3. Ate 3 already. Burger meat is disgusting or their grill is never cleaned. Their food is Smart and Final blah!

After a quick Yelp search, we found this spot. Once we arrived, finding street parking was tricky but not impossible! We had a reservation and were seated almost immediately. Definitely get a reservation if you are planning to go here. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating. We decided to sit inside. Being a vegetarian, I'm always on the lookout for interesting innovative food items. They had a vegan tamale and a veggie enchilada, stuffed with interesting list of vegetables. I decided to give those a shot. The tamales came out relatively quickly. The presentation was 10/10. The flavor profile was amazing. It was interesting to see the choice of vegetables. Overall, I loved the dish. The enchiladas came out quickly too. Again, the presentation was 10/10. It also came with a side of rice. The rice was surprisingly flavorful and tasty. The enchiladas were stuffed with delicious vegetables. I did request the cheese on side. Overall, we loved both the dishes. To celebrate our anniversary, they brought out a coconut cream ice cream. It was delicious and topped with fresh berries ! I highly recommend checking out this restaurant , you won't be disappointed!

We honestly felt like we paid full size prices for kid size meals and left still hungry. We had another appointment immediately afterward, so we didn't have time to order anything else, which made it even more disappointing. We've been to the Azusa location, and the difference in portion sizes is surprising! The servings there are easily 2-3 times the amount. For what we paid in Palm Springs, we definitely expected more. The food itself was enjoyable, but the value and portion sizes really missed the mark for us.

My date mentioned that this location had stellar reviews and she wanted mexican so we stopped by First the octopus ceviche was wonderful tart and delicious. Pro tip be careful with that spicy red sauce! It's spicy but flavorful My date had the chicken enchiladas. The rice was delicious and not mushy. The green sauce tasted authentic and finally a spot that stuffs the chicken in the tortilla. At times some places skimp on the filling I had the steak nachos with everything. It's hard to mess up nachos but they were equally good. The staff was very attentive serving the some chips and cold water as soon as I was seated and I found them to be very attentive. Great location will return

It would have been nice to be near some music especially when people were eating and quiet but we had conversations going between bites. They were pretty attentive at making sure our water was filled. The food was VERY filling. Portion sizes were very substantial and I enjoyed their enchiladas de la tierra which came with the mole pipian verde. It was very hearty and I liked the quinoa and veggies throughout. We also had some yuca fries to share which were nice as well. I found out later that Las Casuelas has quite a history in Palm Springs. The statues of pots in the area are partly because of the Delgado family who cooked in earthenware pots (aka cazuelas) for local copper miners! Definitely will not look at Palm Springs the same again. I think this is a great spot for large groups/families, maybe less so for individuals/smaller groups. Would recommend reserving / getting in the waitlist earlier in the night because they can get busy also!

The host staff was amazing and welcoming but once we sat down, everything went downhill. Our server vanished after taking our order, leaving us with zero service the entire time. Thankfully, Miguel, the busser, stepped up and did everything the server should have been doing. He refilled drinks, checked on our food, and made sure we were taken care of. We tipped him based on his service, not the server's lack of it. What crossed the line was the manager coming out after the bill was paid to ask for more money for the server who didn't lift a finger for our table. As a group of mostly former service-industry workers, we were stunned by the audacity and unprofessionalism. This was my first visit to Las Casuelas and it will definitely be my last.
