Reservation was made for 2:30 pm. Was seated immediately. Couldn't get the exact table I wanted when I pointed outside to it on the "patio" because it was already reserved, and seating outside would've been an additional 20 min wait. I waited 8 minutes before the first server even came over to offer any drinks. (Chips and salsa were brought out prior, though. Almost immediately) Music is loud. Table for two is small - we had purses, and there were no purse hooks on the table, so we moved to a 4 seater. It took a while for the New server to get over to the new area we were in. I remember mentioning I better order everything I want when he got over there so I wouldn't have to wait again-- so service was on the slower side. Ordered : -Patron flight (it now comes with one big Patron bottle, not four individual ones because people were stealing- bummer) -Queso -chicken quesadillas Patron flight (frozen, $55). Online the menu said $50. It has gone up. This is the only flight that has flavors (I got mango and strawberry). The $38 flights are just four regular shots of the type of alcohol listed on the menu. Not exciting. These drinks didn't give me the buzz I needed for the price I paid. I split it with a friend- she got two & I got two. You have to pour your own drink. The waiter does not... the cups come prepared with the syrup in the bottom. Weird to me. So the queso (around $11) was good. I give it a 3.7/5 on the taste scale. Presentation is awesome, but it continues to "cook" the whole meal. I don't like that because it started to burn on the perimeter. No one likes burnt tasting cheese- you won't be able to finish the dip. I wonder could they just pour it in a bowl for you if you ask. I would rather. Queso was HOT, temperature wise. Chicken quesadillas ($16??) they should've been $12. Expensive for the portion. Nice flavor, though. I love the dipping sauce that it comes with. Cole slaw (I don't know why) and other fixings come on the side. I would reorder these. Ambiance: it was a cool vibe. LOUD MUSIC THOUGH. Like a club. Ears ringing after. Service: on the slow side, definitely. Quality for price: nope. Demasiado caro. Too expensive for what you get. Parking: shopping center like parking. Competitive. Just find a park and walk up. No biggie. Verdict: will go back, but I'm in no rush. When I go back, I will ask if the queso can be served differently so I don't have to eat burnt cheese. Or I'll ask for a bowl and scoop like crazy to get all the cheese out before it burns. I will NOT reorder the flight - just a regular margarita. I'll get the quesadilla again, and lastly, I will sit outside. read more

I wanted to love this place I really did. Came on a Friday night....and we had reservations. That was the first issue. Parked was crazy but it was a Friday night in deep elum so that was expected. I had a reservation for 4 and we were sat outside (tented area) and it was cold we asked to be moved inside and was told it was sold out but again we had reservations which were made 1 month. How much earlier would we have had to made reservations to get better accommodations. Then we asked to sit in a different spot under a heating lamp and was still told no because that was reserved BUT remind you we left and that table was STILL empty! Now moving to food The drink was good Had queso and asked for ground beef to be put in it and we had to ask twice if it was in it because we wouldn't see it and couldn't even taste it and the 2nd we asked and showed our waited she even had to ask and was told they did but she wasn't confident enough to know. Kind of an odd experience here tonight. We set a reservation 2 weeks ago for tonight at 6:30 for a party of 8. We got there and they said we needed to give them some time to get our table together, and asked us if ALL 8 people were coming. We told them yes. I just thought it was odd that they didn't have our table ready when we had a reservation for that time and had confirmed twice via text that we were coming. The host then said something about us being late to our reservation when we arrived on time at 6:30. Oh well. All in all, the food was good and our waitress did a good job even though it was loud in there and hard to hear her. She was obviously very busy with two 8 top tables. We had the queso in the flaming hot molcajete and I had the sirloin smothered burrito with a el papi chulo drink. I'M A FAN!! ... so I picked a busy day of all days to try this place (Mother's Day) but they did not disappoint. I made a reservation and upon checking in I was actually seated about 10 mins before my reservation. There was a 2hour limit for each table but the food came out in a timely manner so nothing felt rushed. Very cute indoor/outdoor vibe that really enhanced the experience. Now on to the food, everything was so flavorful and well portioned. We enjoyed everything that we ordered! Def will go back because I saw so many other dishes around the dining area that I want to try. read more

If you're in the mood for Tex Mex in a chic, upscale, young environment, then Vidorra is right up your alley. I've been wanting to try this place for a couple weeks since moving to the area, but it always looks packed, no matter what day of the week it is. I finally made the move to come here on Saturday afternoon at about 5pm thinking that I would beat the evening crowd and miss the lunch/brunch crowd. *BUZZER SOUND* Wrong! It was PACKED! There were about 15 people waiting to be seated when I arrived and more groups of people arriving right after I arrived. Luckily because I was there alone I managed to snag one of the few empty seats at the bar on the patio. The bartending staff was very attentive and helpful. I ordered the strawberry frozen margarita (it has a specific name on the menu that I don't remember), the guacamole, steak quesadillas, and one barbacoa street taco. Everything was good but I feel like some of it was overpriced. The street tacos are each $3 which is a great price and the taco was good. The quesadilla had good flavor and had a really good sauce that came with it, and no it wasn't salsa. The guacamole was very fresh and tasted great but I will probably not order it again when there alone in the future, because it wasn't worth the $11 by myself, but for a table of 2-6 people, the price would be worth it. The margarita was good and I ordered two of them. The price is kind of high but it has a cute presentation with the spicy seasoning garnish on the rim (ancho sauce perhaps). You also get complimentary chips and salsa here with a mild and verde salsa. The verde was really good and spicy, but the chips are dusted with a chili powder that is unnecessary and extra, and by extra I don't mean in a good way. It comes across as a "Dorito-flavored tortilla chip" which may work for some people but I didn't care for it. Everything here has an extra spicy flavor added to it. They take no short cuts at Vidorra on heat. As I mentioned above, the prices at Vidorra aren't on the low end of the spectrum, and my bill came out to more than $50. It was a lot of food and two margs for that price so it wasn't entirely outrageous, but for a dinner out for one person, that's a bit much. To be fair, I'll most likely order things differently in the future now that I know how pricey it can get. Still, the atmosphere is cute and makes for a nice date night or get together with friends. Just remember to bring your wallet. read more

Vidorra never misses a beat in my opinion. It stays extremely busy so a reservation is highly recommended if you don't want to sit at the bar. Pros: I love the Birria tacos with rice and black beans. The queso is really good too and stays hot for a while. Cons: It would be nice if the salsa cups were bigger. Sometimes the service sucks (wait a while for water refills or to order drinks) because of how busy the place is. read more

Went there on a weekend evening. The place was pretty packed and the music was really loud for a restaurant. Our server was still very attentive and took good care of us. Ordered the Queso Fundido with chorizo which was which so-so. Also got the fried avocado tacos to go and it tasted a bit stale later that evening. read more

Came here for drinks only on the patio but that smell of queso in the air was heavenly and makes me want to come back for food. The patio area has a great atmosphere of feeling like you're in a Latin country. The only downside of this place is the wait (night time is a full blown line). We were initially waiting on a table but found it faster to linger around the bar waiting for people to leave and ended up just staying at the bar. These drinks were so fantastic our 1 drink turned into a lot more and we ended staying for hours. The drinks aren't strong but taste really good so if you're trying to get drunk expect to order a lot or maybe not their specialty drinks. The bartenders were nice and even made a special drink from the Mexican candy shot. I think she called it a Mexican Candy Martini. read more

Happy Hour is 3-6, Monday - Friday. Happy Hour consists of $4 beers, $5 house wines, $6 margaritas @ half priced appetizers. The ambiance at Vidorra is amazing, especially in the patio area. My issue is that the drinks are watered down and the food lacks flavor. I returned for a second visit so that I wouldn't have to post this review, but the same issues remained. Vidorra is fun, and worth of experience place. It's a restaurant during the day, and it turns into sort of like club at night! It does take minute to get in at night, if you do have rsvp especially on Friday and Saturday nights then you are fine. They do shut down there dinner experience early on those nights so you can only dine in for 2 or 3 hours max, and either hangout at bar after or bar area. Mainly they do have great happy hour, nice brunch and service. The food is okay... It just depends how busy it really is in there. The food is okay. The drinks and fun yes! read more

I came in with my family on Monday night and sat at the patio as the weather called for it. Their patio is absolutely stunning ! As soon as we came in we got greeted and sat by the lady at the front. I always ask to sit with Gabby today as I know our experience will be wonderful and we'll be taken care of. Our table is always clean, pleasant conversation and our margarita glasses our always full! The food is amazing I recommended trying the Birria tacos and their queso ! The place is amazing when it comes to ambiance and decor. Literally it's so beautiful so if you're coming with the girls for happy hour, definitely get cute! The atmosphere and vibes are nice and it's definitely plenty of photo opportunities however I'm not giving it all stars because I ordered the Birria tacos and they just didn't make them how they should've been made I feel. I asked for more cheese on it and it had to be sent back and all they did was toss some on. Ordering drinks took forever to come out, not to mention it took forever to get the chips and dip that are complimentary. Try the queso dip here on the appetizer menu, they have happy hour here so it's $5 and worth every bit. Parking is okay over here it can become kind of congested but that's because their are a lot of restaurants in the area but great for the night life. The only issue I've ever had here is trying to get specific sports games on tv (nothing crazy we were just looking for the college football bowl games) and it took them a looooong time to get the channel changed despite the restaurant being pretty empty. Enjoyed our experience from start to finish. My significant other and I have wanted to try this place for awhile so when the opportunity to visit during happy hour came along how could we resist. When we arrived, I fell in love with their outdoor bar/patio area and immediately requested we be seated there. Luckily we were there early (4:00pm) as I'm told the patio fills up quickly, and I can totally see why. Super disappointed I forgot to take pics but the ambience is perfect for drinks and Mexican food. I love a good margarita so I tried their VIDORRITA on the rocks. I may have gone back for seconds (okay thirds lol) so it's safe to say I loved it and it was a good deal At $6. What goes better with margaritas then apps? And during happy hour they are half price. We had guacamole and queso. Guac was good, nothing special but good. But the queso, DELICIOUS! Plus they serve it in this special Molcajete bowl that literally kept the queso hot during our entire meal! For dinner we shared FLAMED CHICKEN QUESADILLAS and CHIPOTLE GARLIC SHRIMP TACOS. For the quesadillas we actually ordered steak but received chicken, but they were so good we just kept they anyway. (Shout out to our waiter for the abundance of apologies and offers to switch them out, but we we halfway down and wanted to finish them). The shrimp tacos were our favorite part of the meal, perfectly seasoned with a delicious slaw. It was my first time visiting Vidorra, and I must say it was such a VIBE. I love Mexican food, and of course, good cocktails, so this place was definitely the move. In the front of the restaurant is an expansive outdoor patio filled with tropical foliage and a full bar. The restaurant's interior had plenty of dining space with access to the other side of the exterior bar. I partook in their chicken flautas (one of my faves) and two cocktails, both of which were pretty strong. ‍ Service was great, so I'd certainly go back. THINGS TO NOTE: Vidorra is situated inside of shopping center type area, so parking can be a little problematic. I'd recommend arriving early if possible. Their counter-height tables and chairs are little tall for short people, so you may want to opt for bar or booth seating instead. read more

Terrible experience, I ordered chips and guacamole to go and they give such a small portion. This was 13.75 for this little bit of guacamole, I went back in the restaurant to confirm this was the correct portion and the lady at the front confirmed it is only one scoop. Highly dissapointed. read more
