My go to place for Bun Mang Vit (duck salad noodles) and always my top suggestion for someone who look for Com Tam (Broken Rice) spot. I have eaten here for years and the flavor always hit the spot. The duck was perfectly prepared and accompanied well with the ginger fish sauce. A reminder is that they don't have Bun Mang Vit till 11am though so keep in mind. Take off 1 star because the service is hit or miss. Sometimes I feel very rush in and out.

I've always passed by this place whenever I'm at Lam's Seafood but it's always busy, and I go on the weekends so that's probably why. I came here on a weekday so it wasn't busy, I came to eat with my MIL. I've heard good things about this place so I finally got to try it. I ordered the combination pho, it was good but it wasn't that great. Broth was a little bland for me, so I had to add sriracha and hoisin to flavor the broth, I normally don't add anything extra but the garnishes, I like to taste the broth as is when I'm eating pho so it was a little upsetting. But I will be going back to try other items on their menu.

At a Vietnamese place, it's pretty much either pho and/or bahn mi and fresh rolls for me. This joint doesn't have bahn mi, probably cause the spot on the other side of the market does lol. So combination pho and fresh rolls it is. Everything looked very fresh and green. For the rolls in particular, they plated the huge lettuce leaves to flare out of the ends of the rolls in a way that looked appetizing. The rolls were nice and tight; nothing fell out, without the rice paper being too hard or too chewy. The noodles were fine and normal, as was the brisket and other stuff. My only major gripe would probably be the broth. I found the umami to be rather weak. Not weak enough that I would call it bad, but weak enough that I want to dock points. I will note that I have some bias in not being a purist about pho broth. I'll take a slightly dirty broth over a clear broth if it means I get much stronger umami. Still, overall, there's not much to complain about. Four stars seems default and fair.

I finally checked out this Vietnamese spot known for their com tam (broken rice) after hearing a lot of great things about it. I've been on the hunt for a good com tam place nearby, so I was excited to try it out. Overall, it was good, but I wouldn't say it was spectacular. The meat portion was on the smaller side compared to other places I've been to, and while it was cooked well, the flavor was a bit off for me--it had a slightly sweet taste that didn't quite hit the spot. This location is tucked inside Lam Seafood, so it's a bit awkwardly positioned and easy to miss. However, we had a party of 12, and we still managed to fit without much issue.

I guess this is a "to each their own" type of spot. We've tried a couple of times before and it's just not hitting the right notes for us. This time, we stopped by for some takeout fried rice: beef and tofu. The beef was definitely the superior of the two; the tofu fried rice was overcooked, greasy, and personally, I did not like the types (2) of tofu used - as I said above, this might be the ideal tofu fried rice for someone else. They use two types of tofu, one which my spouse suggested is a vegetable tofu made not just with soy; it's closer to what you find in Buddhist restaurants; and the other, to me, tasted spongey like they kind you get premade and keep in the freezer. I like fresh toasted soft tofu in my fried rice, so this was a DNF for me. They are friendly. They are relatively fast and they do their best to take care of the crowds of people that come here. It's in an awkward position in the corner of the building, with narrow spaces, but like I said, they do their best.

Food (4/5): I ordered the pho and the Hu Tieu, which were both great! The pho broth was very aromatic and clean, and they gave plenty of meat, although some pieces were very fatty, so next time I'd order the Pho Tai instead. The Hu Tieu broth had a bit of a celery taste, which was personally delicious to me, but next time I'd try the Hu Tieu hoac Mi Thap Cam, so I could have more texture with each bite from the alternating rice and egg noodles. Service (5/5): the restaurant fills up very quickly, even when we got there shortly after they opened, but our servers were very prompt and friendly. Ambiance (4/5): the restaurants very small and the restrooms next to the banh mi shop just a few restaurants down, but otherwise it felt very familiar and homey to me. Overall (4/5): I'd like to come back and try the other dishes I mentioned in the food section of my review, but for those who are looking to try their TOP seller, almost every table had the Bun Mang Vit, which a friend said paired well with the sauce!

The people here are so nice and they appreciate everyone and you can tell. The food is so good but they're really know. For the broken rice dishes. I usually get the broken rice dish but also add the meat cake on top becuase I want it all, if you do I'll let you know the portions are already generous and if you do you'll have left overs. For instance my mother and husband has had the same dish and spring rolls and none of us finished anything

It took them quite a few moments before I was greeted then seated even though there were quite a few open tables. The bowl with the side topping came out as expected and tasted about average. What I often see at Vietnamese restaurants that I don't like is the lack of the small dipping plates and the full variety of condiments on the table. I was surprised that there were no music as Vietnamese restaurants typically do, unless they were using the supermarket's.

    Bún mắm

Mình order hộp cơm và hộp bún mắm . Cơm thì bán Okie . . Cả thuế 1 hộp bún mắm là $20 . Mình ko quan trọng giá cả . Mà bán hộp bún mắm như vậy thì quá mắc .

Ordered the Com Tam Suon Bi Cha to go and they forgot the entire pork chop... the main item :(

"THEY DELETED MY REVIEW ON GOOGLE" I honestly never leave bad reviews. I always try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt, even if the service is slow or the food is just average. But this time I really can't keep quiet. This was absolutely disgusting. There was a whole cockroach, or some kind of bug, sitting in my bowl of bún bò Huế. I had only taken a couple bites when I noticed something floating in the broth. At first, I tried to convince myself it was just some herb or maybe a piece of meat that looked weird, because I didn't want to believe what I was actually seeing. But no, the longer I stared at it, the clearer it was. It was a cockroach. An insect in the middle of my food. I cant explain how nasty that felt. The thought that I might have eaten even a tiny bit of broth that had been touching that thing made me sick to my stomach. I couldn't take another bite, and honestly I lost my appetite, IMMEDIATELY. And what makes it even worse is that the food here is not cheap. For me, that's the end of it. I will never be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else risk it either. Goodbye, Vietnamhouse.

I've been going to the Vietnam House in the ID as my staple go-to for years and years. This was my first time at this relatively new branch and it was no disappointment. The same matter-of-fact, brusque service. Even the menu was the same. But what my wife and I always have was exactly as we remember from the ID location. The cold duck with congee for me, and the same cold duck with noodle soup for her. Now that we know, we will be back for the huge menu. Next to try will be their Viet charred-bbq broken rice or cold bun noodle dishes. We will be back!!

My mom and I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, and we visit twice a month mainly to have their Vietnamese Duck Noodle Soup (Mì Vịt Tiềm). While the food is great, the service could use some improvement, so don't expect a particularly friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is conveniently located, and the prices are reasonable. Just a heads-up: they add an 18% service charge for parties of five or more (including infants). I took pictures during our visit.

Luckily I saw Pho T & L was open and I've had this place saved for a while so this was the best timing to try them out. We arrived and it was pretty busy and we weren't sure if we seated ourselves or someone else seats us as it took a few minutes for us to get noticed. After a little of standing awkwardly near the entrance, someone noticed us and motioned us to sit near the check out area which you do need to go up and pay rather than wait for someone to drop off a check. We were given waters and menus and given a decent amount of time to decide what we wanted. My friends got a lemonade with tea, Thai tea, shaking beef and combo vermicelli while my boyfriend got the shaking beef and egg rolls and I got the Bun Bo Hue and spring rolls. My boyfriend got his egg rolls and I didn't get my spring rolls until after everyone's' order came in so I have a feeling that the employee who took our order forgot or the kitchen forgot. There was no apology or anything for it either. I got my food first, after several minutes the shaking beef came out and after another a while my friend got his vermicelli bowl. Luckily we weren't pressed for time but it made it awkward as we didn't get our food at the same time and it took a bit to get them. I am a slow eater so I guess it worked out that I got mine first but I also didn't receive my spring rolls until I brought it up once we received everything else. The food was phenomenal and our friends said their drinks were perfect too. I did enjoy my Bun Bo Hue, though I did make it a bit more spicier with their chili oil. They have plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate all party sizes. They do have a bathroom but you have to go through a long, scary hallway to get to it. The tables have probably the cutest container for their chili oil but I appreciate that they have napkins, sriracha, hoisin, and utensils on the table. The employees don't really check in often and they didn't really come by to fill our waters until we were down with our meal. The service was also pretty much non-existent, it wasn't rude but just felt rushed and cold.

The toasted baguette and pickled carrot and daikon were all fresh and crispy. However, I wished they put more vegetables inside. I also was disappointed by the chicken as it was shredded and not grilled. It tasted like canned chicken and was overall kind of bland. Had I known the chicken wasn't grilled, I would've gone with the grilled pork instead. Additionally, there was too much pate (which reminded me of melted salted butter, but gooier - almost like the texture of brie cheese) slathered on the sandwich and so I ended up scraping most of it off. Compared to Yeh Yeh's in Lynnwood, this banh mi unfortunately missed the mark for me (although it is convenient). With that said, I'd give them another try and try the grilled pork next instead with light pate. My mother tried the fresh rolls, and thought they were kind of small for the price. The peanut sauce was decent. I took my lunch to go, but the interior atmosphere is cozy. Service was decent too. Overall: 3/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 3.5/5 for atmosphere
