My garage door was in need of some repair. Normal wear and tear over the years but it was progressively getting worse the last week. The tear had allowed it to "bow" while it was pulled up. After searching Yelp and asking a friend, both highly recommend Vigo at Viking Garage Doors. Over the phone, he knew exactly what the problem was and quoted me what I would be paying for a repair and what I would be paying for a new door. After consulting with my wife, we decided just the fix was necessary. Called back Vigo and he had his super awesome garage tech Jared on it! Jared showed up right at noon. After installing the new spring and struts, he adjust my garage door push power which I had no idea you could do. We used Viking Garage in the past to have our garage door replaced and they did such a good job so when we started having issues with our sensors who knew exactly who to call. Vigo came out on time and immediately started to diagnose the issue. He gave us 2 options but since out motor was about 28 years old, we decided to replace it altogether. Jared came out later that afternoon, was very friendly and got right to work replacing the motor, sensors, wall button and ran all new wiring. He even regreased all the rollers and walked my wife and I through using the phone app. All work was completed in about 2 hours and we couldn't be happier. Thank you so much! Yesterday while pulling my husband's truck (yikes) into our garage the door suddenly broke and landed onto the bed of the truck. I could not figure out what happened and my husband was at work and I didn't want him to see what I did to his precious vehicle.
