I found out after I paid and saw it on the bill, so there was no authorization ask for or received) and then put two clamps on a power steering PRESSURE hose that was bad instead of replacing hose and doing it right. For all that I was charged $184.79 for two $1.80 clamps that were nothing more than a worthless bandaid that lasted a few months max. He looked at a sick old lady on hospice and saw "sucker". Makes me wonder about the time I took it to him for a new charger. car had brand new battery that tow company checked and said was fine, but Doug insisted it was fried. (if fried, how all the lights light up still) I dont know. maybe that time was legit but the first time was nothing but a bogus scam. Now that it has been fixed right, and I have the part I have proof he scammed me.

Loved that they have pre-8am appointments. I arrived on time and was greeted by awesome Jenny. After checking me in they promptly took my vehicle. 10 min later I learned it was just low on refrigerant (actually near zero). That didn't surprise me because it was less cool recently but still coldish. And then one day it was instantly lukewarm. First time in its entire life so it really could have been anything that failed. The a/c check ran $60 and the 1.25 lbs of coolant brought the total, with tax, to just over $120. I was done in 30 minutes. They tossed a dye in with the refrigerant just in case there's an active leak. Fingers crossed, all is good! Tip: if you GPS the location you won't see the street number or their sign because it's "tucked" about 50 long yards off the street, midway deep amongst all of the locker/garage containers that populate this large lot. Several years ago we took our boosted Mustang to CC to have a head replaced. The vehicle ran fine…read morebefore this mechanical work. When we picked up the car it had a coolant leak and some rigid vacuum lines that are supposed to connect to the front of the plenum and lay across the intake a certain way were bunched up near the firewall and connected to the rear of the plenum. We sent the car back to have both corrected. When we picked up the car the second time we looked over everything based on the issues with the car the first time. We found the oil to be frothy. And the previously mentioned vacuum lines were still bunched up at the firewall instead of laying properly. CC made us cover the cost to tow the vehicle back to them. They changed the oil and said it was full of gas. Each time they returned the car they told us it needed a new tube because it would not idle while they had it. It is difficult to find a rubber for this generation mustang because everyone wants to use HP Tunes, but that does not supposed this generation. Tuners that use SCT to tune are non-existent in Arizona and very expensive creating hurdles. While finally attempting to get the car turned recently it was discovered that the intake had a massive 6" crack across it. This was the reason for it not idling properly and was not an issue prior to the mechanical work. After posting this review initially, CC contacted me and we had agreed to purchase the intake and they would cover the labor to install it. Initially, they would respond to updates about the order status but never replied to any queries about which gaskets to purchase. They have also not responded after notifications that the intake had arrived.

They charged $160 for a diagnostic which would be fine except I gave them the report from AutoZone who had run a diagnostic hours prior. And typically when you do the work, a garage will then credit that diagnostic fee to the work being done. They charged $604 total after I protested about the spark plug parts cost. Originally they wanted $200 for the spark plugs part. After protesting, they charged $176 for the Spark Plugs (parts) alone. $240 for the labor and $160 to diagnose something that was already diagnosed. When I told them the max fee for spark plus is $50, (I'm ok with companies marking-up costs but not at over 240%), they gave me $40 off. Still an astronomic cost for changing spark plugs, especially in Tucson. They did give me my car back in 1 day though, which I appreciated.
