Had breakfast at this restaurant and the prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were big enough to share (if you choose to). I went here with 4 other friends who had had a meal here before. The service was very prompt, friendly, helpful and gave great tips on what foods the servers had tried before and they enjoyed. This place has on the street parking and many people come to enjoy a meal here. The atmosphere was comfortable with good lighting, a place to eat outside if you wish and family friendly. The food menu has many choices and large portion sizes so you will leave here satisfied and happy with what you had.

I was really happy to come here for brunch and had scrambled eggs and sausage and some toast. Eggs were nice and fluffy. The breakfast sausage tastedl was good and I love the home fries. Pancakes were big and fluffy, but additional cost for a real maple syrup. Coffee was pretty mediocre. Service was a little slow. Stafford didn't seem to know the menu enough and wasn't sure how many pieces of meat goes with the type of breakfast. She never checked on us and I had to wait her down overall it's a good place to come for breakfast in the neighborhood

No muss no fuss local diner. Friendly fast service. Great outdoor seating although only a few tables and near a busy highway. Gigantic menu for breakfast and lunch.

OMG, we love this place so much. We come here every Saturday and still can't get enough. Drinks are AMAZING. Food is PHENOMENAL. Owners are the nicest people in the world. I truly can not understand or believe that any legit coustimer could give them anything but 10 out of 5 stars.

If your in the Newton area and your looking for a good old fashion breakfast joint this is the place. Cozy and friendly and yes the food is awesome.

Greeted with a big hello as I entered. Hot decaf coffee within a minute of sitting. Dark rye (nobody ever has it) and a great tasting two egg, bacon and cheese sandwich!!

Food is very good and plentiful. Service is very good as well. The restaurant is small and can feel a bit cramped when it's busy.

We also got the gluten free pasta carbonara (great that they have so many gluten free options for pasta and pizza! major plus), pepperoni pizza (thin crust, very nice crunch), and a bolognese (also good, just a little salty). Also appreciated the customer service. I needed to heat up a bottle for my infant, and they went and got me a bowl of hot water. They also moved some chairs out of the way initially so that we could navigate the restaurant better, and were generally on top of service throughout the night. Really appreciated it!

Immediately seated and waiter(didn't say is name) stated they were busy today and number of items unavailable - no pizza dough(no pizzas at all), no marinated olives, no grilled bread with mussels dish, no ciabatta toast with pesto dish. We ordered drinks, and one came quickly. had to ask another wait staff for remaining drinks 10 minutes later. Ordered appetizers, then placed main order. 15 minutes go by, and I see three dishes under heating lamp. Five minutes later those three dishes and another were brought to our table. My paccheri bolangnese was cold, and prepared with spacatelli pasta - waiter neglected to state out of all pastas but spacatelli. My wife's roasted chicken was very dry(too long under heating lamp?). My son ordered the spacatelli al pesto, but he was mistakenly given spacatelli bolognese. He prefers not to eat meat. We sent that back and ten minutes later he received his correct order. The restaurant was scheduled to close at 10 PM. I can only imagine service and choices given to people with later reservation. MIDA didn't deserve one star, but that option is not offered. you MIDAwant to chose another restaurant if you expect better!

There's almost something cozy about a place like this. Knotty P. has all the diner signs: worn counter, people yapping, the waitress taking orders non-stop, booths aren't huge, aisles are tiny (good luck getting to your seat) and the special scrape sound of the large metal spatula touching the steel flattop. If you don't mind sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with the regulars, then the counter is your spot. The only 2 seats available were at the counter and we snagged them. The breakfast potatoes are exactly what you want them to be: crispy-edges and golden- these have a little heat kick- not too much- but just enough to keep you going for another bite. As non-meat eaters, we appreciated how the cook keeps the sausages in their own territory (something is something I guess) from the omelettes, pancakes, etc. Then there's the energy- fast and a little loud in the best way. And right in the middle of it, is Ileana who has that special spark and every beat, timed.

Friendsgiving has become a heck of a lot less stressful after discovering Judith's Kitchen. My…read morefriends and I usually plan one either the week before or after Thanksgiving, but most places that offer Thanksgiving catering only do so during the few days leading up to the big day. A couple of Friendsgivings ago I became determined to find a place where we could order catering in or around Newton where my friend hosts. After a little digging, I uncovered the gem that is Judith's Kitchen. Not only does Judith's Kitchen have oven roasted turkey breast and most of the standard Thanksgiving sides, but they have them year-round! Their full catering menu is quite extensive. That first year we ordered the turkey breast with gravy as well as the brussel sprouts, rosemary potatoes, and the butternut squash purée. The remaining sides we made ourselves. Let's just say everything was a massive hit. You pop everything in the oven to heat up and then they're ready to plate. It's so much nicer than making everything from scratch, especially the turkey. That quartet has become our regular Friendsgiving catering order. Placing an order is easy peasy as you do it with Judith herself (or you can do it online if you prefer). Just tell her what you want and for how many people and she'll let you know exactly the quantity you need. You do end up paying a bit of a premium considering we don't order a ton of food, but I think it's totally worth it for the convenience alone. I'd love to try their lunch offerings if I lived closer, but until then, Judith's Kitchen will be our go-to for Friendsgiving.

The chicken salad wrap was good, even though I'm not usually a fan of the grapes version. Huge chunks of real chicken breast cut into pieces, so you know it's the real deal. If you like it finely chopped, this isn't the one for you.
