Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but my daughter and I were practically dying of hunger so we popped in. The definition of a hole-in-the-wall. The best part is they are also bilingual in Spanish making me feel at home. Since the restaurant is in a shopping center, there is a vast amount of parking. They have delicious large breakfast plates. You order when you walk in and take a seat and wait for your meal to be brought to your table. Seating on the outside patio is also available.

Absolutely awesome food and service! The staff is so friendly and that is unheard of these days. The quality and portions of the food and the value makes this a 5 star rating

Had to pop into the UPS store around lunch time so I yelped something good to eat and landed upon the Village Grill. Had no idea what to expect and I couldn't really see inside from the parking lot. First impression was that this place was full. It was full of old people but still, full on a Wednesday lunch. Placard at the front read the daily specials: pork chop or mushroom swiss burger and fries. You order at the front and take a number much like Showmars. I asked the girl behind the counter what was good and popular. She referred me back to the specials. The menu on the wall was extensive but tiny and I didn't have my glasses on so I went with the burger special. I was alone so I sat at the bar. Thankfully the television in front of me was on ESPN unlike the one farther down that was on the news. About 15 minutes later, my food arrived. This was massive for a lunch. Burger must have had a full jar of mushrooms on it along with the standard veg. additions. Fries were crinkle cut and had a nice dusting of seasoned salt. Everything came out nice and hot. Oh and there's also free wi-fi. I would definitely go back. Note that they serve breakfast all day but that it closes at 2:30.

Unfortunately my server, Elijah, failed to take my order correctly, so I did not get what I actually ordered. He apologized, but the damage was done. He was generally fairly attentive other than failing to take my order down properly.

Recently I called in an order over the phone. I ordered several bacon cheeseburgers cooked medium with fries, 2 cheesecakes, and 2 molten lava cakes. She asked if I wanted any sauces and I asked for all the ranch she wanted to give me, so she said she made a note of it. We arrived 10 minutes ahead of time and called back in to tell them which curbside spot we were in. They were approx 20 minutes late bringing our food out. That was the start of our poor experience with them and definitely not the end. When they finally came out with our large pickup order, as she was handing the bag over, she said "Don't worry! I made sure to put in lots of extra ranch for y'all!" That sounded good, at least! We noticed the food was not piping hot, which made us wonder if it had been sitting on the counter for a while. Got home, and pulled out our food orders. Every single burger was missing bacon. And every single burger was totally RAW inside. The burgers are super thick here, so these patties had lots and lots of mushy bright red raw beef in the centers. I have never seen something like this in my life at any restaurant. The fries were okay but cold. It was a gross dinner. So I was hoping dessert would help redeem things. But nah. There were no cheesecakes - but instead the chocolate stampede cake was in its place. We all tried those cakes with the weird vanilla ice cream stuff, and we also tried the molten lava cakes which were cold. All of it tasted like gross fake plastic chocolate. The ice cream had real vanilla beans in it, but the actual ice cream part had a very odd texture and was quite disgusting. So I exchanged $120 of hard earned money for waiting too long for our meal; cold and way undercooked burgers; and very gross desserts. Every single part of our order was wrong. They even totally forgot the ranch, after playing that up, too! We won't be coming back here - ever. Super disappointing!
