Checked out this more modern family pho place. I had read about the 15 hour broth so I wanted to give it a try! For whatever reason my friend and I were taking forever to order but the gentleman behind the register was super cool and patient and didn't seem annoyed. I ended up going with brisket pho & pork Bah Mi sandwich! There's only 1 size pho you can order (Medium size bowl) unless you're doing takeout. all of the soup are $10 which is a tad pricier compared to most places i've been too . When the soup came out it was perfect size for me but I could see how a grown man may be left wanting more. the broth was delicious so they nailed it there and the sandwich was fresh and tasty! It was ok the food. I mean the pho was ok but not the greatest plus it felt kind of weird the ordering system that they have. It almost feels like a fast food pho place. This is a lousy, pretentious, and expensive take on a classic vietnamese dish. There is no proper soup spoon or bowl offered. Instead, they pander to this idea of everything is compostable (when? after 300 years?), and in doing so kill the dish: a plastic disposable spoon (what about actual, reusable utensils and bowls?), almost non-existent sides, and the high school girls that are getting exploited there have zero interest in getting it all right. I have been on a pho tour for years and this place is as dumb as it gets. Almost no brisket, and overpriced at $17.00 for a "two protein" combo (costs more to have two proteins...whaaat????) and no "everything"/special as traditional places offer. DONT GO HERE. My first visit here and I was pretty blown away. First of all, it's busy as hell during weekday lunch. But the employees handle it well. We were able to order easily and get our food in a good amount of time. I ordered the steak pho and my friend ordered tofu fried rice - which she didn't really seem to enjoy much. But I loved my pho! I never ever ever usually like pho outside of my own home (I'm Vietnamese lol) but this was the first time that I didn't have to sauce it like crazy because I truly liked it. Side note - their sriracha blend is their own creation I think and it might be just as amazing as regular sriracha. I do have a tiny con to speak up about D: The prices are rather high, your typical bowl of pho will be bigger and cheaper than the one you get here. BUT, they do advertise that they use fresher and better ingredients ( I don't remember exactly what the menu stated), but I'll take their word for it because the steak included in my pho was bomb. My first time here was a pretty good experience. The good was okay, the service was quick, and the prices were decent. This place is good for a quick fix! You go up the the counter to order your food, get a number, and wait! I ordered the tofu spring rolls, tofu vermicelli bowl, and two macs. The tofu spring rolls were really good, big, and filling on its own. When it came down to eating the vermicelli bowl I don't know if it was because I was full or what.... The flavor was really bland and I didn't finish it, or really put a dent in it at all. A plus side was that the ingredients tasted really fresh and I think they get their ingredients are local. The macarons were really tasty and made perfectly (hard shell but soft on the inside with no hallows) I think I will be back to try the pho and chicken curry! This place has vegan and gluten free options. When you throw away trash there is a guide for you to follow so that you are recycling and I think there is even a compost bin! This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. I don't want to admit how often I frequent the Seattle location. I just stopped by the Kent location because I was on my way home. The girl that was helping me had an attitude. I do understand social distancing but it says on that they were offering take out and and seemed like I was inconveniencing her by trying to pay with cash. No need to be rude about it when all you've been doing was on your phone and talking to your friend. Friendly reminder my friend we are all in the same predicament, it's not that hard to have some customer service and you should be sanitizing anyways after every customer. read more

It's always risky trying a new restaurant but I'm happy with my decision to try this one. The staff was very polite and recommended Vermicelli as a low carb dish. This service was quick, a few short minutes later my plate arrived. The presentation of the dish was a thing of beauty. Wish I had taken a picture. The flavors were on point. Very fresh salad with a well balanced rice vinegar based dressing. Dressing had a touch of sweetness with the right amount of heat. The pork was tender and well seasoned. All was served over rice noodles. I'm a pretty big fan of sriracha but chose not to add any because the dish didn't need any. The flavors were so good that I didn't want to over power them. I'll be back to Vinason for sure. This is a must try for a great meal in Kent. read more

We tried this place for the first time today. Nice and clean place and nice atmosphere. The lady that took out order was very nice and helpful in answering our questions about their food. We had two vermicelli dishes one beef and one pork. We also decided to try out those chicken wings that we read about. The flavor was good but the wings were a bit on the skimpy side. Meaning the chicken wings lacked MEAT. One bite and all the meat came right off the bone. Lol. But like I said, it was tasty. We liked the spicy fish sauce, the garlic butter was a little on the salty side, but it was also tasty. My wife got to taste a small bowl of the Pho, she really liked it. First time eating here and loved it! Pho broth taste authentic and not salty at all, pork spring rolls was really flavorful and the fried egg was good too. Price was reasonable. Service: You have to come up to the counter and order first. Which I think it's a good idea. Then after you order, they will give you a number and you'll find a place to seat. They will call you when food is ready and then you'll come up to the counter and get it (that's what my experience was) They have a counter with condiments and soda dispensers. After eating you have to clean as you go. I like the ambience of the place. It was chill, clean and the music was really soothing. I think It was a nice experience. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and updated. The food was very yummy, especially the pho! It is a little spendy- $50 for two entrees, 1 app, and a drink. I did ask for light ice in the coffee, and received a cup filled to the brim with ice, halfway filled with coffee. Pros: Good menu with your usual vietnamese options. Restaurant is clean and filled with a delightful aromatic pho smell. I also enjoy that they utilize organic and non-gmo products. Cons: When ordering a protein with the fried rice, the meat is placed on top of pre-made fried rice. The overall taste is okay but I think not cooking the two together misses on your usual fried rice harmonic taste. Overall: Decent vietnamese restaurant, especially considering the location. Wouldn't necessarily drive out of my way for it but if I'm in the area, I wouldn't be opposed to going. Would probably stick to just getting the pho or vermicelli. read more

Hands-down the best Pho in the area. I pretty much eat here twice a week rotating between Pho and Bahn-mi sandwiches. They are both super delicious and come out pretty fast after ordering. For you competitive eaters out there, if you make their top 10 board, you get to eat free pho until another competitor knocks your out. The ranking is by most bowls eaten in the fastest time. I wish this place was open when I was 20, because I would have dominated it. Now I would probably be on my death bed if I tried haha. Definitely give his place a shot. I'm pretty bummed that this was my experience with them for my first time trying them. I ordered 4 shrimp spring rolls and 2 pork egg rolls. Have eaten here a numerous times throughout the years. I was hoping for the Bun Bo Hue to arrive in this location but I don't think it ever did so I was sad about that *whoomp whooomp* But! I have had their pho and their broth is one of my faves I've sipped by far. It taste clean and I don't really need to put any condiments on it (I put sriracha still... oh, did I mention they have the Vietnamese version of sriracha??? YES!). I usually stick to ordering pho here, particularly the combination or rare-steak pho (Ive gotten their pork banh mi before and I think it's just okay, nothing special). I love how they meticulously pack food-to go. They separate the broth from the noodles and meat and it travels well (No soggy-sad noodles once I'm at work :,) ) I love their pork eggrolls too though I do think its a bit small for 6 bucks. I always, always order their Thai Iced tea... It is one of the best I've had. I drink it with or without milk, delicious either way. On the higher-priced side, Pho places-wise but I think its worth it. The ingredients are high quality however I do agree with others that portions can be a bit more. Found this place in the summer and have been coming here every time I crave some pho (without the guilt!). Bowls are a little pricey compared to typical pho places but it's a reasonable tradeoff to enjoy your meal without the guilt! The Kent location provides Veggie Broth which is the #1 thing I love, and they promote compost through their utensils. Try avoiding lunch hours as the place is completely stuffed during, yet very roomy outside the hours. read more

The pho broth is really delicious but what I am dissatisfied with is the fresh rolls! $6 for one piece that barely has any protein inside my friend and I brought chicken, shrimp, and beef. For 6 dollars I was expecting to be filled with more meat and not only a lot of lettuce. If you decide to visit I would say skip the fresh rolls and just stick to the pho. read more

Considering the quality of the pho you get, this place is definitely worth its $$ price point. The broth isn't salty while the meat is definitely a tier above what most typical pho places offer. If you're looking for a genuinely good bowl of pho, this is definitely the place to go to. The only con I can come up is the portion size. My brother in law wouldn't stop talking about this place pho every time the topic of Vietnamese noodle soup come up so I had to give this place a try. I had a steak pho and the husband got a combo pho. Broth was flavorful and soup was the perfect temperature- doesn't burn your mouth but soothing during cold wet PNW weather. The place was very clean and compliant with COVID restrictions. The decor is a modern farmhouse/transitional style which is nice from the typical Vietnamese restaurants. We also had the fish sauce chicken wings which I thought was OK... I think they were probably over-deepfried and fish sauce flavor was very mild. This pho restaurant was quite different from other pho restaurants that I've been to. It was very modern and gave me American-style vibes as I walked in, compared to the usual Vietnamese/Asian vibes of pho restaurants. Instead of a sever taking your order, you order up front and they bring out your food. The food came out fairly quick, probably within 2 mins for my pho bowl and my chicken wings that I ordered came out after that. The chicken wings should have came out first, as I ordered it for my appetizer. -- also one thing to note; I did not see chicken wings on the menu on their signs but I knew that they had it because of my friend who came here and got chicken wings. I then had to ask the cashier if they had chicken wings and what flavors they had. I ordered non-spicy fish sauce wings ($7) and steak pho ($10, pricey compared to other pho restaurants). The chicken wings were okay. I didn't taste much of the fish sauce flavor, so I kinda wish I got the spicy version. The wings were pretty tiny, about the size of my pointer finger. The pho was also mediocre. I felt like the broth needed more seasoning, as it tasted very bland so I added additional hoisin sauce and sriracha.
