Yum! Great place for a dinner catching up with old friends. I liked that they have a happy hour, cocktails were yummy and wine was great. I really liked the mussels and the pot de creme for dessert. Service was great, atmosphere was nice.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The new owners (Mitch & Luke) are incredible and have taken this Andersonville gem to the next level since recently taking over. They are very community driven and care about being a part of Andersonville - be sure to try the watermelon margs during Midsommarfest. The warm welcome from staff is always appreciated. The ambiance is great - not too loud where you can't hear the person across from you. What sets this restaurant apart from others - besides everything mentioned so far, is the food. Some of my favorites include the Tuna Tartare - just the right amount of heat and other flavors to balance it out, along with the gnocchi that is currently on the menu (see picture attached here). Other items include the halibut with orzo and the burger. Their happy hour deals and burger night are hard to beat! I highly recommend stopping in here and getting the full experience - they also have a great patio in the warmer weather to enjoy.

Vincent's is usually closed on Sundays; however, with the festival and Father's Day, they opened and had entertainment to accompany a fantastic brunch. Any breakfast item or lunch item presented is just a notch or two above standard fare. The prices were well within line considering the live entertainment. Our server was spot on with getting our drinks and food orders, and they were served in a timely fashion. Of note, the pancakes were enormous. I just had bacon and toast, which sounded simple, but the bacon was perfect, and the toast was homemade bread! For a special treat, Vincent offered the famous Liza from Chicago. The performer is remarkably like Liza, making you think it's a time warp. She played for the whole audience, both inside and outside, which I found very charming. Liza's interaction with the crowd made sure no one was left out. This performer is quick-witted with her quips. I hope that Vincent's will have her back to perform; the crowd loved her.

This is one of my top favorite places to go on Mondays for happy hour. Chloe is extremely persistent. I've never seen a person like her in my life. She always sets the bar for me when ordering old-fashioned. Please check them out and ask for Chloe thank me later.

We came here for happy hour and had a great time. The vibe inside is so cute and I love that its half open to the outdoors when the weather is so great. My cold brew martini was perfect!! I thought the pricing was good for happy hour as well, $10. Other cocktails were listed $7-9 as well which is great. We ordered the charcuterie happy hour board to share and it was good. We definitely had to ask for more bread though. I would totally come back for happy hour again.

On behalf of all my family and friends, I want to express profound gratitude to Vincent Chicago for providing such a warm, welcoming, and truly special space for me and my husband on one of the most meaningful days of our lives. As many of you know, planning an event--especially when a simple gathering transforms into something grander--is no small feat. Finding the perfect venue, the right atmosphere, and food that delights every guest can feel overwhelming. But thanks to Rich, Mitch, Chef Luke, and the entire Vincent Chicago team, our celebration became something extraordinary. My heart is overflowing with gratitude for how beautifully they helped us host not just an event, but a moment in time filled with love, laughter, and the people we cherish most. I'll admit, I was a bundle of nerves leading up to the day--completely new to planning a private event and probably more than a little neurotic. But Rich and Mitch were endlessly patient, walking me through every step with kindness and reassurance. They didn't just provide a service--they offered guidance, care, and expertise. They wanted me to trust them, to let go, and to let them do what they do best: craft an unforgettable experience with impeccable hospitality and some of the best food in Chicago. And wow, did they deliver. Speaking of food... our guest list was as eclectic as our love, and let me tell you--everyone was raving. I had been so anxious about portions, but when I saw the sheer quality and generosity of the spread, I was blown away. Every dish was thoughtfully presented, fresh, hot, and flavorful--the perfect brunch balance of breakfast and lunch. And those mini-burgers? They've already become legendary among our friends. Days later, people are still talking about them. LOL. If you're looking for a private event space in Chicago, Vincent Chicago is the place. Our group of 30 fit perfectly, but the space can easily accommodate more. It's intimate yet open, brimming with charm, and even has a fantastic sound system to set the perfect vibe with your own playlist. And the service? Flawless. The entire staff worked as one seamless team, never missing a beat, never feeling rushed--just pure, effortless hospitality. Many talk about community, but it's places like Vincent Chicago that truly make it possible. Spaces like this don't just host events--they foster connections, celebrate love, and bring people together in the most beautiful way. Rich, Mitch, Chef Luke, and the entire team--thank you. Thank you for giving us a space not just to celebrate, but to feel seen, embraced, and at home. We will never forget it.

It was really bad, not sure how it has such a high Yelp rating. We sat on the patio where the staff would let pan handlers ask for money throughout the meal service on the patio itself. The panhandler touched and fingered my silverware which was disgusting. When we declined giving him money he gave us a finger gesture meaning "f you". The staff literally stood and watched this happen at every table and did nothing to stop or ask them to leave. We ordered steak tartare, escargot, and I got the gnocchi. The steak tartare looked disgusting on the plate and it tasted like they cut in lots of root vegetables to reduce the amount of meat. The escargot came with minimal garlic oil so the taste of snail was forefront. The gnocchi was absolutely awful- somehow they managed to burn the outside while leaving the inside doughy and chewy. It was disgusting. Vincent is a hard pass and would not advise dining here. It's relatively expensive, they don't seem to know how to cook, and the staff ignores major issues impacting meal service.

Couldn't have had a better experience. We had to meet early for a play, we had plenty of time to enjoy a mezcal old-fashioned and a spectacular charcuterie board of cheeses and meats and other delicious things that crunched and crackled and tasted wonderful!! we also ordered pierogies which were tasty and piping hot, and a mushroom gnocchi - pillowy goodness!! Our waiter was fantastic, attentive, helpful, and fun. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I have lived in the area for over 5 years and had been meaning to try Vincent for much of that time. Last Friday night was finally the night. I had been wanting a really good French 75 for a couple of weeks, and Vincent delivered. My cocktail was excellent! Well balanced, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. My husband had one of their bourbon cocktails that was on the happy hour menu and he enjoyed it immensely. The atmosphere is that of an upscale bar/restaurant without feeling snooty. The room was filled with parties that seemed to be enjoying after work drinks, or folks on a date. It was really positive and fun. Our service was excellent. We stayed well past when our drinks were finished and never felt rushed out the door. To my embarrassment - I was so tipsy I forgot to tip! When I realized my error I went back the next day to correct it, and they were so nice and understanding. Will definitely be back to try the main courses! Maybe even on a night when they have live music.

There is outdoor seating under a pergola lined with semi-private planters, while the inside features a bar, high tops, low tops, and large booths. The music was upbeat, giving the space an elevated lounge vibe that pairs really well with the upholstered booths and vintage industrial design. I ordered the Wolf Burger, which is a whopping three-patty burger. That first bite was juicy and pure bliss--a total explosion of great flavors. It was a little messy (like all burgers with an egg), but the extra liquid was perfect for balancing the density of such a meaty burger. The soft bun soaked in a lot of those juices with each bite, intensifying the flavor as I ate more. The fries were thin and on the greasier side--not my personal favorite, but they worked alright as a vehicle for the sauce. Speaking of which, the chili aioli served with the fries was fantastic. We also got the mac and cheese, which hit a great balance between rich and creamy without feeling excessively wet. The boat it came in was a bit small, making it a little messy to scoop out with the serving spoon, but it was soooo good. Overall, it is absolutely a fantastic neighborhood place for comfort food and drinks with friends in a great space!

The place feels spacious, yet subdued, with very quick and responsive service. The food is quality, but not ostentatious - sandwiches, pasta, fish and chips, etc. I started with the delightful Charred Boulevardier (bourbon and orange), while my friend got a tasty THC drink. My friend said the pasta carbonara was amazing, and I went for the fish and chips (which is one of my favorite things to order and compare). The fish was done perfectly with an incredibly crispy batter, and the chips matched the amazing fries they have at Little Bad Wolf - crispy, slightly charred, and soft in the middle. Both the fish and chips were aggressively seasoned (which I like, but some may find it salty). The "tarter sauce" appeared to be a tarragon cream of some kind. Nice, but not really tarter sauce. And the small serving of cabbage/apple coleslaw was inoffensive and better than most places. I'll definitely be back.

Alas, my catchphrase being "I eat and I know things" means ordering food is a given. That was a mistake, but not as bad as whoever made the decisions behind the Heartbreaker Burger. Let me start with the good. I started with the M&M shot, a simple yet tasty, and not face-melting combo of mescal and Montenegro. I drink spirits neat, so YMMV, but something I wouldn't mind ordering again. Next, I tried the Vieux Carre: a solidly executed classic with balanced flavors and spirit-forward without going overboard. While the bevvies are not mind-blowing, the prices are low - In the year of our Lord 2026, $12-13 for a cocktail in Chicago is almost unheard of outside of happy hour. The vibe is old-timey and retro. Loads of wood, exposed brick, and wallpaper that your great aunt probably had. There are a few game-heads on the walls, for I guess great uncle likes to hunt. There is also a piece of art on the walls that, feels almost like it can go in a museum, but not quite. Let's say this: gentlemen, I would advise against brining a date here, lest you be tempted to look a little too long. Alas, we've now arrived at the abomination that is the, perhaps aptly named, Heartbreaker burger. To start, it was wrapped in foil and tasted through and through as though it's been sitting under a heater for at least an hour. The lettuce within had time to wilt due to the heat, making it go from a positive addition, past neutral, and into negative. The patty missed the mark: In this case, Smasburger applies to the thinness, and not at all to a roasty, crispy, Maillard-y consistency. Between the thin piece of strongly favored meat, and bun a little too large and dense, all other ingredients lost their presence. Further, If felt the burger was so bready, I removed the top bun and turned it into a fork and knife affair. I'm all for burgers getting wider, rather than only so tall one can't open their jaw so far, but not like this. Hardly worth mentioning are the sides of Tater Tots and Queso. Both weren't heartbreaking, but at the same time, wholly unremarkable. Felt as though I could easily beat these with a quick stop at Aldi. I've no complaints about the service. Since I came right around opening, it was very quiet. Still, I was well-taken care of, and things came out relatively quickly. Final verdict: Sweethearts Bar makes inexpensive, solid classic cocktails in a mostly retro vibe. However, the alleged-smashburger left a bad taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively, spoiling the experience. Would return?: Probably not. There was nothing on the menu that I couldn't easily and cheaply recreate myself. Would recommend?: Also probably not. If you're looking to catch up with a group in a space without a TV, Sweethearts and its cheap drinks aren't a bad deal. For all other cases, I would not recommend.
