On behalf of all my family and friends, I want to express profound gratitude to Vincent Chicago for providing such a warm, welcoming, and truly special space for me and my husband on one of the most meaningful days of our lives. As many of you know, planning an event--especially when a simple gathering transforms into something grander--is no small feat. Finding the perfect venue, the right atmosphere, and food that delights every guest can feel overwhelming. But thanks to Rich, Mitch, Chef Luke, and the entire Vincent Chicago team, our celebration became something extraordinary. My heart is overflowing with gratitude for how beautifully they helped us host not just an event, but a moment in time filled with love, laughter, and the people we cherish most. I'll admit, I was a bundle of nerves leading up to the day--completely new to planning a private event and probably more than a little neurotic. But Rich and Mitch were endlessly patient, walking me through every step with kindness and reassurance. They didn't just provide a service--they offered guidance, care, and expertise. They wanted me to trust them, to let go, and to let them do what they do best: craft an unforgettable experience with impeccable hospitality and some of the best food in Chicago. And wow, did they deliver. Speaking of food... our guest list was as eclectic as our love, and let me tell you--everyone was raving. I had been so anxious about portions, but when I saw the sheer quality and generosity of the spread, I was blown away. Every dish was thoughtfully presented, fresh, hot, and flavorful--the perfect brunch balance of breakfast and lunch. And those mini-burgers? They've already become legendary among our friends. Days later, people are still talking about them. LOL. If you're looking for a private event space in Chicago, Vincent Chicago is the place. Our group of 30 fit perfectly, but the space can easily accommodate more. It's intimate yet open, brimming with charm, and even has a fantastic sound system to set the perfect vibe with your own playlist. And the service? Flawless. The entire staff worked as one seamless team, never missing a beat, never feeling rushed--just pure, effortless hospitality. Many talk about community, but it's places like Vincent Chicago that truly make it possible. Spaces like this don't just host events--they foster connections, celebrate love, and bring people together in the most beautiful way. Rich, Mitch, Chef Luke, and the entire team--thank you. Thank you for giving us a space not just to celebrate, but to feel seen, embraced, and at home. We will never forget it.

It was really bad, not sure how it has such a high Yelp rating. We sat on the patio where the staff would let pan handlers ask for money throughout the meal service on the patio itself. The panhandler touched and fingered my silverware which was disgusting. When we declined giving him money he gave us a finger gesture meaning "f you". The staff literally stood and watched this happen at every table and did nothing to stop or ask them to leave. We ordered steak tartare, escargot, and I got the gnocchi. The steak tartare looked disgusting on the plate and it tasted like they cut in lots of root vegetables to reduce the amount of meat. The escargot came with minimal garlic oil so the taste of snail was forefront. The gnocchi was absolutely awful- somehow they managed to burn the outside while leaving the inside doughy and chewy. It was disgusting. Vincent is a hard pass and would not advise dining here. It's relatively expensive, they don't seem to know how to cook, and the staff ignores major issues impacting meal service.

Couldn't have had a better experience. We had to meet early for a play, we had plenty of time to enjoy a mezcal old-fashioned and a spectacular charcuterie board of cheeses and meats and other delicious things that crunched and crackled and tasted wonderful!! we also ordered pierogies which were tasty and piping hot, and a mushroom gnocchi - pillowy goodness!! Our waiter was fantastic, attentive, helpful, and fun. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I have lived in the area for over 5 years and had been meaning to try Vincent for much of that time. Last Friday night was finally the night. I had been wanting a really good French 75 for a couple of weeks, and Vincent delivered. My cocktail was excellent! Well balanced, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. My husband had one of their bourbon cocktails that was on the happy hour menu and he enjoyed it immensely. The atmosphere is that of an upscale bar/restaurant without feeling snooty. The room was filled with parties that seemed to be enjoying after work drinks, or folks on a date. It was really positive and fun. Our service was excellent. We stayed well past when our drinks were finished and never felt rushed out the door. To my embarrassment - I was so tipsy I forgot to tip! When I realized my error I went back the next day to correct it, and they were so nice and understanding. Will definitely be back to try the main courses! Maybe even on a night when they have live music.

The burger was juicy and the bun was soft; didn't feel like I had to unhinge my jaw just to get a bite like with some other burgers. The toppings for the burger paired harmoniously with the patties, with the pickles adding texture and bite. The fries paired with the burger were honestly whatever, but the spicy aoli paired with it elevated eating the fries. We also got an elote app to share. I did enjoy the cheese and corn and how warm and melty they were, but I think it could've gone without the avocado. The mac and cheese though, now that was absolutely delicious. It was gooey and soft, with the breadcrumbs and bacon adding texture and smokiness. The drinks I got, the sylvan and green eyes, were a little strong for me (I prefer sweeter), but nonetheless excellently mixed. If you like strong, classic flavors, these are for you.

Loved the 90s female R&B playlist they had going! Little Bad Wolf has been on my list FOR YEARS to try the burger! My husband got the burger with fried onions and I got some Bao because those also looked delicious and were a popular menu item. Honestly the 3 stars are only that high because of the service. Our server was friendly and attentive + the food came out hot and quick. Unfortunately, the food was pretty disappointing. The burger was swimming in a puddle of grease and just picking it up made your hands greasy + was dripping grease. The fries that came with it were floppy, soggy, and sad...but at least warm? I personally wouldn't order this again. The Bao were better, but small for the price and honestly were just okay? It was nice they gave you sauces you could add, but I found the Bao's to already have enough sauce so I didn't need them. Overall I left feeling confused and disappointed. I don't feel the need to come back here - Little Bad Will was a one and done experience for me.

The ambiance is chic, warm, and welcoming. It is also a spacious building with a bit more seating than Little Bad Wolf, so that is nice. We went from a 1.5 hour wait at Little Bad Wolf to almost an immediate seating at the Good Wolf's bar. You can't beat that! The bartender/waiter, Zach, was great! He took good care of us, making us feel welcomed and answering any questions we had as first timers! I got the charred boulevardier cocktail and my spouse got a local IPA beer on tap. We both loved our beverages and were very happy! To eat, we started with the brown butter broccolini side. It was so delicious, decadent, and flavorful. We will definitely get this again! For entrees, I got the duck gnocchi and it was divine. Perfectly filling, delightfully flavorful, and high quality! My spouse got the fish and chips and loved it! I tried a bite and loved how crisp the fish was! And the giardiniera aioli was scrumptious! Prices were reasonable for such a high quality meals. And the space was clean and welcoming. We loved it! It's not flashy, it is less busy, and if you don't know... sneeze and you'll miss it. The vibe is dark and moody, with notes of brown and dark blue. The art also fits the overall atmosphere well. I question, however, the large TV screen that seemingly only shows their name. It's not intrusive, just a bit weird. However, it was so dark that seeing the menu was more challenging than it needed to be. I can light it up with my phone, though I do (and did) so at the risk of being 'that guy'. Top-down lighting folks, I see the lamps up there, too! I ordered: - Oysters (4 as-is, 4 with mignonette on the side) - Duck Gnocchi - Sticky Toffee Pudding The oysters were medium-sized and excellent quality! They were delightfully briny and without a hint of cartilage or sand. The first order came with mignonette, and while enjoyable, being a bit of a purist, I put on a second order with mignonette on the side. Sure enough, I found myself adding it of my own accord. All the more evidence the kitchen knows what it's doing! Further proof? The Duck Gnocchi - the gnocchi themselves were soft and pillowy, more so than I've experienced up to this point. The duck in the dish was tender and soft as can be. The veggies (mirepoix) were sliced and cooked perfectly, adding texture, freshness and bulk (fiber?) without overpowering anything. To top it all off, breadcrumbs for a little crunch, and a mild sauce that tied everything together in perfect harmony. For the most important course, dessert, we have the Sticky Toffee pudding. A well cooked, well sauced helping of pudding, topped with a large scoop of ice cream that slowly melted, transforming the flavor as you go. For drinks, I ordered the Charred Boulevardier and the Burnout. The Boulevardier was rich, sweet and savory, in contrast the Burnout was brighter and fresher, and still boozy. While neither drink was a smack to the face with alcohol, after getting up, I could feel the effects. In terms of their service, it was polite and attentive, and all items came out fast! The prices are okay, though if you love oysters, keep in mind they will set you back $4/each! Final verdict: There is nothing at The Good Wolf that I wouldn't happily order again. It is hard to choose a standout when everything was of a high caliber. I look forward to working my way through their menu, and continuing to feed the good wolf (props is you know the story of the Two Wolves).

The entrance to the bar is located to the left of Lonesome Rose, which gives it a hideaway feel. The décor is lovely and the vibe is cozy and chill. I kind of felt like I was in a Western bar with the big bull head starting down at me. I would say that for parties of 2 to 4, this is a good joint to hang out in, but any larger groups, I did not see a space to accommodate more than 4 people. The night we were there, they had a cool 80s playlist going and that was nice to sit and chair dance while drinking my cava. The Doctor liked the fact that the beer was really cold. And I loved that they had sparkling wine. There is a small section on the menu for food: chips/salsa, Chile con queso, guacamole, Heartbreaker Burger (Chorizo Smash Patty, Grilled Onion, Cilantro, Chile Con Queso, Pickled Jalapeno, Shredded Lettuce, Jalapeno Ranch, Sesame Seed Bun) and Truck Stop Nachos. I got the Truck Stop Nachos (Black Beans, Queso, Pickled Red Onions, Pickled Peppers, Tomato, Crema). You have the option to add Picadillo Beef, Chorizo, or Carne Asada as protein. But you also have the option to have it vegan. I went with steak. Overall this was a nice snack but would have liked a little more steak added to it. I am not sure if you can order from the menu of Lonesome Rose, but the next time we go, I will ask about that. And I have to remember not to call Lonesome Rose, Lonesome Dove (the novel and mini-series). The selection of cocktails is decent, and it is nice that they have non-alcoholic beverages as well. For those that like hard seltzers, they have those as well as a "Toke Cosmic Berry", which is a THC seltzer. Service was nice, the bartender was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be adding this to our rotation of happy hour places.
