It's been a while since I was here and I honestly forgot how absolutely tasty their spaghetti is. I stopped in for a full order of spaghetti which btw is served in a to-go container that is jam packed full of perfectly cooked al-dente noodles. It isn't easy to keep the noodles with a nice yield when cooking in large batches so I don't know how they do it but they have it mastered. I opted for the meat sauce which is a great meat/sauce ratio. I also ordered six meatballs because my kids are obsessed with spheres o'meat and they were absolutely delighted at the flavor of these things. The garlic bread was absolutely delicious too. Have been a customer for over 60 years! My experience this evening was the worst ever. First the wait was 25 minutes which I expected since it was a Saturday. We were seated, 3 of us which included my 3 year old grandson. We waited 10 minutes for a server to come when I politely inquired about our server. Told she was on her way. Made a total of three inquiries before we decided to leave. We thought that ordering for takeout would be faster and that was another 20 minutes. I was raised in Montclair Ca. And would go to the Vince's in Ontario after baseball games and family outings. Later in life as I raised my own family the tradition continued on. Now 60+ years later I still go to the Vince's in Temecula and incredibly the food still tastes the same OUTSTANDING!! The first bite brings back so many fond memories of Mom and Dad, my kids over the years and now the Grand kids. The customer service in this restaurant is horrible! Specially the manager he is very unprofessional doesn't care about the customers, I placed an order from DoorDash and I called the restaurant because it already had been more then an hour and my dasher send me a message that they told her it would be another 25 minutes more, when I talked to the "manger he didn't care that it was taking this long and wasn't sympathetic at all didn't even try to solve the issue I can't believe that it would take one hour and half to make spaghetti's. I've been coming to Vinces ever since I can remember eating solid food and I'm 65 years old. My visit Friday was very disappointing. There were chunks of onion in the spaghetti sauce which was different the bread was absolutely different and the soup tasted a little different too. The reason I come here is because it tastes exactly the same as it did when I was a child but it was a big disappointment this time. I guess I'll go to rancho next time. read more

We went here for my grandmothers birthday. I wanted to go to Sizzler but it wasn't my birthday. Parking: May be difficult depending on the time you go. We went at 15:00(3:00 pm) and there were empty spots. Service: All the workers were pleasant and fun. Majority are children so be prepared. If you're lucky you may see the Joseph Gordon Levitt doppelgänger. Food: Simple as can be and you may even make better spaghetti. The bread is what makes this place in my humble opinion. We went to check this place out there's always lines from u know where. So we decided to stop by. We were seated promptly and with a smile. Our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. We all ordered we got two kids spaghetti dinners with salads. Two spaghetti lunch special with soup or salad. Two meatball sandwiches with salad and 1 French dip sandwich with salad. All came with garlic bread or cheese bread. The salad was from a bag old and nasty the dressing was horrible. The spaghetti was ok and our nephew and niece and our middle son ate it. The soup our nephew ate it and said it was good. Bread was good. Meatball sandwiches frozen meatballs and very bland lacking flavor big time taste like it was from a bag. French dip sandwich was absolutely disgusting inedible I had to tell our waitress that I only took one bite and it was old dry. It had the nastiest flavor to it the dip on the side that was supposed to be gravy was the smelliest bowl of yuck!! Our waitress was so sweet asked me if I wanted to exchange it I politely declined and she took it off our check. Definitely disappointed in there food and quality old rotten salad shouldn't be served and old dry roast beef was just so gross. Definitely won't be coming back I feel like it was a totally waste of money and time but I guess we know this place ain't our style by a mile. The food is always solid here but why is the service always so poor? We're Asian so I'm not sure if that may be it, but time after time, service is subpar. I do notice that other parties get service with a smile but my server today couldn't even muster "You're welcome" or "no problem" when I said thank you multiple times. Not once. She didn't smile, she was gruff and I had to ask a busser for red pepper flakes because she dropped off our food and never came back except to give us the check. So just to sum it up, food is great, ambiance is nice and relaxing, but if you're a person of visible minority, you may just experience the same type of service I have. Best wishes! Never open. Went to do a pickup order at 4pm and sign on the door said they were closed. Customer's were inside eating, while other customers were going in and out the door. I can understand if you are short staffed, but atleast offer carryout! My family have been coming to this location for well over 40 years and we have had many special events here. The decor has not changed much over the years, but it has its charm and simply works for what it is. As far as the food goes, it's simply delicious. There are a few options of pasta (spaghetti, penne or lasagna) with either meat/tomato sauce or butter. Their garlic or cheese bread is also scrumptious. I usually get the half order dinner, which also includes soup and salad along with the spaghetti and choice of bread, and add provolone cheese topped on the spaghetti, along with a meatball. The prices are also quite reasonable and the location also offers take out. We've always had good service and the place is rarely empty, with large groups of families having special dinners. Nothing bad I could ever say bad about Vince's My grandma came here in the 40s as a little girl and ever since! As a result, Vince's has been a staple in our family as long as I can remember. It's not uncommon for us to buy the sauce in bulk and bring to family events and when we get the chance we love to get to the actual restaurant as a group. I don't know what it is, but there's just something about their sauce that makes it THE BEST! You can travel all over and people know about Vince's and that says a lot! Came here after craving spaghetti and this restaurant did NOT disappoint! The interior was retro and you could feel the home-y-ness of the ambiance, and the staff was extremely friendly. Lunch special with meat sauce spaghetti, with garlic bread, and soup on the side- Good amount of food for ~$8, and I left feeling super full. The soup was OK...and was a beef vegetable which the waitress told me was their soup daily. It consisted of lentils, carrots, onions, and celery with no beef but was in a beef stock. Again, it was OK... Garlic bread was absolutely delicious, and was large enough to finish my plate of spaghetti with! It was garlicy with the right amount of butter...so delicious! Spaghetti was fantastic!! The meat sauce was rich and packed full of flavor, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I was full 3/4th into my meal, but I couldn't stop eating and proceeded to eating every last spoonful of sauce. When my friends have a party they order the spaghetti party tray along with breadsticks and salads and the dressing that comes with it. The spaghetti entree was not great - it was bland and had no strong flavors that stood out. The marinara sauce was a bit watered down and it did not have a thick consistency which did not stick to the pasta. There are mini ground beef pieces which were a good size as it was not overwhelming and it made it more filling. The pastas are soft and you can pick the type that you would like to pair with your sauce. I would suggest ordering extra cheese to add extra flavor and they use fresh cheese which tastes great. The garlic cheese bread was good - it was buttery and toasted perfectly. The bread is cut in half so you get two pieces and it is perfect for sharing. When ordering to-go or party trays they give you plenty of servings. We would have leftover for days and to make the sauce thicker I recommend cooking it again by adding your own ingredients to make it taste better. When they pack the food to-go each item is packed neatly and in their own containers. If you are ordering large items for a party you would have to mix and put the items together as in mixing the sauce and spaghetti together and mixing the salad with the dressings. The menu is huge as they have mostly Italian food and many entrees come with cheese and garlic bread and salad. When ordering a plate the size is huge and can be considered family style which you can share with 2 to 3 people. When picking up orders they always have it ready on time especially the party trays and they are hot and fresh where you do not need to reheat again in the oven. read more

Got there about dinner time and parking lot was packed. We got in and sat almost immediately. Server was fast and friendly. Took into consideration I had 2 kids under 10 and was very accommodating. I came here Monday with my Family for a fundraiser for the leukemia society. This location is by far the friendliest. We got there and were seated immediately. I wish I remembered the name of our waitress. We were in the back room. She was amazing!! Very friendly, knowledgeable and fast paced. While we were there we never felt rushed. It was nice. The food was delicious! I took some to go and it still tasted just as good 2 days later. I always frequent the vinces on foothill, but seeing as how they close from 2-4pm, I decided to come to the holt location for lunch. Service was very good as always with vinces in my experience, but something was just a bit off. Food was still very good, but the sauce, pasta, and garlic bread all tasted different from what I have come to expect at the foothill location. Not complaining because it was still very good, but The sauce was a bit more "greasy/oily" and the garlic bread tasted more like the cheese bread (yes, I definitely got the garlic, I double checked with my waitress). Kinda strange that both spots are so different considering how they're both run by the same people. Overall I think I'll just continue going to the foothill vinces as I much prefer their food in comparison to the holt vinces. read more
