    Queso, babie!
    Joyce W.

Queso is one of the world's most perfect foods. What's there to not love about queso? It's queso! Think about it! It's warm, gooey, cheesy, and coats your insides. When it comes to queso, I become Ariana Grande: I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it. On one particular evening, I wanted some wings and chips with queso. I haven't been to this Vine so I figured I'd stop in for some takeout. After grabbing my food and taking it home, I was disappointed to see the size of those wings. These must have been the wings of a pigeon or something. Such dainty bites for full-price! And it seemed like they took two normal sized celery sticks and chopped them into six pieces. They're stingy with portion sizes. The sauces on the wings were standard too. As for the queso and chips, these were decent. At least I got a video clip for my Instagram. All in all, Vine is beloved staple here but I don't think I'll be popping in again to get my chicken wing cravings satisfied.

    The perfect wing

Been eating at this location for over 20 years. Dining here weekly for the past decade. Why?? For the incredibly crispy, tender, tasty, and SMALL chicken wings that you cannot get anywhere else in town. They recently switched their wings to a larger variety. While still a decent wing and well prepared they are now just like everywhere else and I am sure full of growth hormones etc. resulting in a less tender meat. Not nearly as crispy or tasty. Our group is headed elsewhere tonight for our weekly meetup for the first time in a decade. I am sure we will still be back at the vine someday but those tiny wings are no longer the draw for us. Please put them back on the menu. Maybe you could offer two wing options? Small and large. These small wings were a big reason many of your regulars come so often. I posted a couple pictures of the smallest wings I found over the years. RIP little fellas

This location does Pub 2 Pitch which is great to have a bite to eat with a pint before being shuttled to the Phoenix Rising Match. The service was great and made sure we were aware when the shuttle arrived, which we are grateful as it arrived earlier than scheduled. Definitely consider this for a routine match day spot.

We choose to sit indoors. The restaurant is very cozy with dimmed lighting to add to the evening ambiance. It has a casual feel but you can dress up or down. Some people were casual and some more dressed up. We were seated at the front by the stage where live music was about to start. I thought this would be nice since I do enjoy live music. Well the speakers were facing right at our table and it was noticeably loud when the entertainer began to play. We asked for another table. We could not hear ourselves talking. I ordered a cocktail, The Giddy Up Espresso Martini. That was very delicious! They do have a full bar, it's nice to have choices as far as alcoholic beverages. Our food, Fish & Chips, BBQ Nachos, Aged Manchego, Crusty Bread Garlic Oil & Balsamic, and Molinari Sopressata. Everything was absolutely delicious! The fries with the Fish were perfect. My favorite besides the Martini. was the Crusty Bread with Olive Oil and Balsamic. Our server was the best! Amiriya made sure our drinks stayed filled and asked us what we thought about the food. Even on this busy night. After our meal we walked around the outside seating and game area. This place is a fun place to meet with others especially with the outdoor/patio game area. I would love to come back when in AZ.. But, I don't have to wait until then because we have a CD restaurant in the San Diego area! Woohoo! I can't wait to try some other dishes and have another Espresso Martini. I probably would pay for a shot of Bailey's added to the drink. Restaurant parking is busy but they do have additional parking just across the way. It happened to be busy because we were up against Valentine's Day weekend.

We arrived around 8pm on a Monday night and were happy they were open and seemed to have quite a few full tables. We were seated promptly at a very comfortable table. Our server took our drink orders right away and was very helpful in answering our questions regarding the menu. I ordered the most delicious shrimp Louie for my meal. My husband ordered the club sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed. Our son ordered a pasta dish which he loved. Even though we don't live in the Tempe area, we would definitely dine at Culinary Dropout the next time we are in the area!

Huge positive on the Bloody Mary, it was wonderful. I had the cod; and they were fine with replacing the french fries with avocado and tomato slices (gotta watch what you eat when you're old !). Last night, we ordered from Parlay and when my husband picked up the food he saw a 10z ribeye for steak and eggs on the brunch menu. Before trying the food, he already decided to get their breakfast in the morning. We got an ahi Salad, some southwest spring rolls, and a chicken sandwich. All were good. The egg rolls and the sauce that came with them were awesome. Today, after my surgery - Husband ordered the steak and eggs that came with potatoes and toast. It's 10oz ribeye, for only $25 bucks. We knew it would be a thin cut, but in today's economy!, still an awesome price for all of that. He asked for medium rare. I ordered a burger (I forget which kind; I was high from surgery) cooked medium. Both the steak and burger were cooked beyond well done. Beyond. My husband NEVER returns food. But, he told the server when he came by to check on us. The server was super cool. He brought the steak back. I hadn't said anything about the burger yet. I didn't have the energy and I think I was still chewing my first bite while half asleep. The steak was taking a good while to come back. Server said the cook KEPT ON over cooking the steak. , idk how many steaks he ruined before he decided on the one we should get. It was a 3/4 10oz ribeye. Should be cooked 2-3 minutes on each side. Server finally brought a new steak out. It was blue rare. Some bites were edible, but husband was iffy. The rest of the steak was still raw. Server came back and we let him know. He was in agreement and apologized. At that point I let him know the burger was also super well done. It was almost funny since again, surgery high. The server didn't charge us for the steaks and I think he compensated us for my husband's Bloody Mary too. His eggs and potatoes were fine. My fries were perfect. Ngl.. we may go back tonight since it's close to the hotel and they have a chocolate ganache cake I craved before I knew it was on the menu. Hopefully the chef making the steaks is not also the baker I will update the review to report whether or not the cake gets overcooked lol. 1st time experience -Restaurant and other food is decent. Possible new cook ruining steaks: needs a lesson Pic shared is the steak we laughed about taking home to finish cooking. It's been in the fridge so it doesn't look as raw as it did earlier.

Since we were planning the event from out of town, having a team we could trust was incredibly important -- and Bailey and the entire staff handled everything flawlessly. Even the decorations were set up beautifully and exactly as we had hoped. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. A special thank you to Bailey, the Event Coordinator, who was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She was organized, responsive, and made everything feel easy and stress-free leading up to the event and the night of the dinner. The highlight was definitely the Rafter Room -- it was even more impressive in person than in the pictures. The space had a great atmosphere for a rehearsal dinner and made the evening feel really special for our family and guests. If your kitchen can't handle a simple order in a reasonable amount of time, don't accept DoorDash orders in the first place. What's even more frustrating is the complete lack of respect for customers' time. There was no urgency, no accountability, and no reason a two-item order should take longer than two hours. Accepting orders you clearly can't fulfill is misleading and incredibly unprofessional. I won't be ordering from Social Hall again, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else waste their time either.
