I got a full set with regular polish the first time I went here and my nails looked immaculate! I get my nails oval shaped and the roundness was perfect and the length on all of my nails matched. I was extremely happy with my nails, even with the regular polish, they lasted (almost) chip-free until I needed a fill! Naturally, I went back for my fill but was disappointed that the same attention to detail wasn't used this time around. Someone else was doing my nails this time and he started trying to get my oval perfect on my nails and then looked like he basically said f---k it and started with his little grinding tool again. The shape wasn't terrible, a couple of nails were a little bit off but I was more just disappointed that he filed two of my nails to perfection by hand and then threw down his nail file and opted to just keep going with the dremel tool. I asked if he would get the same polish I had on from last time and he looked for two seconds and picked one that was not the right color and wouldn't go back to find it. I looked myself and found it within a minute. The polish would not dry on my nails like they did last time and I was left to sit without any attention waiting for them to dry, no one would check on me. By the time I got home, my nails were destroyed (I sat there for over 20 minutes at the salon waiting for them to dry). I had to repaint them myself. They didn't last as long as the first time either, they started lifting within about a week when my first time here my nails lasted almost 3 weeks before I got them redone. This past weekend I decided I was going to treat myself to a pedicure so I decided to try Virginia Nails out. They have almost too many options for their pedicures and at different price levels. I spent about ten minutes reading over the menu and trying to figure out (besides the scent) what the difference in all of these pedicures were to make them different prices. I opted for the Mandarin & Mango pedicure because I'd get the hot stone massage and parrafin wax treatment. It was a bit on the pricey side but my pedicure lasted a very long time (not complaining about that lol) and was extremely relaxing. I felt like the man doing my pedicure spent a lot of attention to detail and made sure my toes came out super soft and perfectly polished. Super happy about that experience. Only other down side is every time I have been here, the one TV in the salon is stationed to a sports game. I haven't asked them to change it (I don't like people having to change something just for me) but I'd rather watch something a little more appealing to women than college sports/ read more

I literally only asked for Tiffany, because of a review on Google said that she does a good job at coffin nails. I work in McKinney and before today I had never been to this place. Coffin nails are my favorite so I decided to give her a try and they are perfect! She did take a little longer than what I am used to but it was so worth it. My whole family goes here, my great-grandma(83yrs old), my cousin(18yrs old), great aunt(40yrs old) and I, its a great place for anyone. Every time I go in they welcome and remember me, they always do a fantastic job, I have had the gel mani, regular mani, deluxe pedi, acrylic nails (white and pink /painted) everything I have ever gotten her has been amazing. I came in with a friend today to get pedicures. We were told they were ready for us and we sat down in the salon chairs. My friend was taken care of, however; I waited 30 minutes for someone to help me. No one cared and I was completely disregarded. Horrible customer service. I'm a huge fan. They give great pedicures & manicures. Last time I went in, the manager gave me a pedicure because everyone was busy. He had to stop a few times to address things but never left me hanging. He made sure I either paraffin on my feet or hot rocks warming my feet. Everything was great! I'm always pleased when I go. I usually get Wilson to do my nails. He always gives me wonderful service and leaves my nails looking great. Until today I had the manager's wife ( I didn't ask her name) and she was rushed to do my nails. As she was doing my nails, she never asked me if I liked them. I had to stop her before she finished them off to fix them. She had left them very bulky-looking, so I asked her to file it down a bit. She made them even worse! My nails have never looked so bad! And on top of that she made it seem like I was fussy although I never complained. Despite the bad service she gave me, it won't stop me from having Wilson do my nails. Maybe for now on I should just stick with him. read more

My pedi was terrible my foot was cut so badly I couldn't wear a shoe for three days. Please be watchful they used a scraper, i didn't realize my foot was so badly damage until the night when the pain started, it awful my skin tone hasn't come back on my foot yet, it been over months. This is my new favorite nail salon! The people here are so friendly, which is rare in most of the nail places I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot. They do a fantastic job and actually CARE about your comfort! I only get pedicures, no acrylic nails and I haven't tried a manicure yet, but definitely will. Also very clean place! Highly recommend it. Best, by far, I've been to in Mckinney. The only complaint I have might be the music. 70s easy listening. Not a big fan, a little depressing :) I can deal with that though! I recently moved to this area and I was looking for new place to get Spa pedi so decided to check this place out because reviews were good. I took three friends from out of town. We went in and told them we wanted spa pedi for 4. About 5 minutes later they said they could start 3 of us and the other in about 5minutes. I let the others get started and 20 mins later they were ready for me. They were of course well into theirs before I got started. The manager or supervisor started the water without checking temp and it was scalding hot. She had also done this to one of my cohorts. All of the nail technicians were very good and polite. When mine was about finished the "manager told him to move and let her finish. I guess she thought he was taking too long and my friends were still in the chairs waiting for me. She then finished painting my toes very sloppily and moved me out of the chair. Understand that there were no clients waiting and four empty chairs beside us. The man who was doing my pedicure was just standing around but she hadn't allowed him to finish? We paid our ticket and tipped 20% for the actual technicians. Will not return because the manager made us feel unwelcome. read more

I loved this place when I first started going about 2 years ago. But it has declined since. I went one time and pointed out to the technician that I had a healing blister. He put his long nailed finger right in it a few times during my pedicure. He's rough and rude about how the place my feet. I had the bad luck to get him again in my last visit. He was rude as usual. I should have walked out but I didn't want to be rude. I asked to pay my bill the minute he was done. The man I asked told me to wait. I was so mad I couldn't wait to get out of there. The rude technician made sure to stay to see how much I tipped. I usually always give 20%...but not this time. He got 15%. He looked and just walked away! Do not go here!! I just left this salon very upset! I came on Saturday and they told me they could complete my pedi and fill-in. I sat down and got my pedi first and then they told me they didn't have time to do my fill in and that I needed to make an appointment for tomorrow. There is only one person here that can do designs and he was busy. I was upset as it was Mother's Day, but I decided to come back tomorrow at 5:30 as they requested. When I got there, they forgot I had an appointment and I had to wait another 30 minutes before being seen. When I sat down in the chair the nail design tech basically didn't know how to fill in a bling nail period. He said he did but then started asking ME how should he do it. Ummmm are you serious?? I ended up getting up and storming out! This nail shop is a joke! If you want basic designs then go here, this shop is years behind nail design industry. They should have looked at my nails and told me they weren't qualified to do them yesterday! I'm out of gas and a wasted trip. I will not come back here!
