She provided an accessible class that offered much appreciated direction on how to hold the poses, including some personalized tips on how I could better position my body in a couple of poses. They offered a cortisone injection not because I needed it, but because that's all they know how to do. Anyway, I was amazed at Karen's deep knowledge of body mechanics. She had a clear understanding of the structures involved and how they connected to other parts of my body. She understood what was happening in my body. Best of all she was able to help me reduce the pain and improve my movement and functioning overall. She worked on me directly and taught me how to work on myself. I continue to use the things she taught me on a daily basis to improve my posture and physical functioning. Plus she is a super nice and caring person. In addition to the regularly scheduled classes, they offer really interesting workshops (happy hips was my favorite). All the classes are just so positive - there's never any judgement and you always leave feeling 100% better physically and mentally! All the teachers are amazing, and the owner is very knowledgable. Plus it's an incredibly beautiful, inviting space. My only wish is that there would be more weekend classes (two classes offered both Sat and Sun), which is more a testament to how much I enjoy the classes than anything.
