When I called, the first employee admitted they were "backed up." I asked the obvious question -- why wasn't I notified an hour earlier instead of being left sitting there wasting my entire afternoon? He said my manager made the decision to cancel you, would you like to speak to her"She kept me waiting on hold for quite sometime probably hoping I would hang up. That conversation was even worse! She talked over me, lacked all basic customer service skills and told me they "never took the tow job". Obviously this was a lie since my insurance company confirmed this business two hours earlier. She told me they were too busy and it would actually be another 2-3 hours. So instead of declining the call honestly from the beginning, they left a stranded customer sitting and waiting with no communication whatsoever. When I tried explaining how unacceptable and irresponsible that was, she actually LAUGHED, sarcastically told me to "have a nice day," and HUNG UP on me. If your company is too overwhelmed to handle roadside calls, then DON'T ACCEPT THEM. Leaving people stranded for hours and then laughing at them on the phone is beyond unprofessional.
