Wow the food is phenomenal and the service is great we love the atmosphere and your food portion is very large !

Orange Chicken, Pork fried rice, BBQ pork appetizer.

First visit ever to Dragon City and have to say the food and service were excellent. Portions of each item were plentiful. The orange chicken had a nice tangy slightly spicy flavor, the rice was well made, and the bbq appetizer complimented the entire meal well. The meal started with the hot and sour soup, and I was impressed at how well it tasted. One of my favorites I've had elsewhere that left much to desire. I ordered a Black Tea and the waitress talked me into trying the boba, which I had no idea what it was. I was surprised to find out it was added crystal like balls to the drink. Interesting for sure, but still admit I don't know what they are for! The restaurant has quite a bit of seating and even has a fireplace in the back. Small tables for one or two line the windows along an outside seating area. There is a counter that would seat 6 or 7, and I can assume you are free to sit there as well.

Ive never in my life lived so far away from decend chinese food. So i drove 30min hoping Fernley could keep it under an hour drive. The food is cooked well. Its not too greasy and not too dry. Few cold spots and raw onions can be overlooked. BUT, the flavors are at best... Muted. Nonexistent. Not a single flat/fermented bean in the Chow Fun. There was by asian standards, no flavor in either of the dishes i ordered. Is the water bad in Fernley? Even my ice water was kinda... Off? If my food just had all the missing flavors, it would be 4 stars minimum.

Ordered takeout from here. It was ready in less than 10 minutes. The portion of the lunch special was huge for the price. $11 after tax for the lunch special Mongolian Beef. I asked for spicy & they delivered. Recommend

Stopped in for a to go order. Love their egg flower soup. It's chilly day and nothing is better than soup! I just wish they had the fireplace going! Maybe later in the evening! Staff is very nice.

If you are looking for a good Chinese Restaurant in Fernley, Dragon City is your spot! The lunch special is perfect to break your work day and reasonably price with good portions. The food is good, fresh and the servers are welcoming/always smiling. They have outside seating available which is nice.

There no dedicated way to turn left into the lot, but lucky this time I not in a rig pulling trailer like 6 years ago, so I just swing this big SUV in a sort of u-turn and go in. Lots of parking in the lot for this buffet. The price has gone up from 6 years ago ... it's around $14 per person now. The selection of food is still just one steam table, but there still plenty to choose from and some unusual dishes I've not seen before. I'm here with my crew and they love buffets, cause these guys can eat all they want and everybody is happy to find something they like to eat. There are no American choices here like some buffets, like pizza and french fries. Some of the dishes I'd not seen before at buffets are these chopped oysters served on foil, or boneless ribs (really just sliced up pork shoulder cooked Chinese way), and steamed clams. The green beans were so fresh and crunchy cooked perfect. I was impressed all the food was cooked so well, compared to come Chinese buffets. The selection is smaller here but the quality is better than most. Everybody left full and happy and this is right near the hotel we're staying, so we might even come back again!

The atmosphere was nice, clean, well decorated, and organized. I forgot the name of our waitress, but in the middle of me asking a question she walked off said I'll be right back. She was the youngest waitress there. She did come back and apologize, no issue was made, I accepted apology said it's alright and proceeded to order. Our order was Pho #9 with meatballs to go and one for the table, honey garlic chicken served with fried rice. While waiting for our order we were served water and our drinks. Along with the water a pitcher was placed in the table to refill the water cups, which was greatly appreciated. Son enjoyed a bottled Sapporo and added on some potstickers. The fried rice served with the meal was washed, but was on the mushier end, and any additions to the rice were missing. It was basically white rice, and soy sauce with a couple of pea sized speckles of egg, and I mean a couple, as you can see in the video. The pho was decent at best, the large portion was the small portion in other pho restaurants. Son loves it and enjoyed his meal greatly. The honey garlic chicken was fried to a crisp, and then sauced. The fry held up to the heavy thick sauce. The potstickers were good. They seemed almost deep fried or air fried as opposed to a traditional pan fry where one side is toasted and the rest it soft textured. However it was still pleasantly tasty and was served with a decent sauce! Would I return? Probably not, I have no doubt that it's good for this small town!!!

I know when you see the word "express" in the restaurant name, I'm not gonna expect some kinda authentic Asian experience. It's gonna be fast food American Chinese kinda food. I'll just get the food and bring it back to the hotel and we'll eat there. Going in, there's actually space to eat there if you want. Not a big dining area but decent enough. The menus are all up on the walls as well as online. Amazing this Chinese restaurant has an actual working website! Most Chinese places have no website, or just basic to place orders. Placing the orders was no prob. I see they have a lot of "bowl" dishes sort of set up for the single diner. I think a lot of workers come here to get food. There's a ton of workers of all types in this area, but no one actually lives out here by the Gigafactory and related places. I ordered, general chicken, house chow mien, a couple of orders of pot stickers, honey walnut shrimp and house fried rice. That should be enough food. I didn't have to wait too long and the food was packed and ready. Good thing the hotel is just a few minutes away and the food stayed nice and hot. We unpacked the food and used some plates from the hotel. I pretty much know what the crew likes, so everybody was happy. The general chicken was a pretty good version. As for the ambiance, it was very typical and nothing stood out. Simple seating and a basic setup, which matched the no frills feel of the place. Overall, decent service and fast food, but the food quality and atmosphere keep it at a solid three star experience.

The portions were generous with plenty of leftovers to pack up in takeout boxes for enjoying for another day. I am not a big lamb fan, but this New Zealand lamb was tender and non-gamey. The owners did an outstanding job of timing the dishes and engaging with our group while also taking care of other diners including non event patrons getting getting take-out and inhouse menu dining. The ahi tartare portion anywhere else would have been a shareable appetizer. But each person was served a large portion of delicious fresh ahi. Mmmm this course and a glass of wine could be dinner alone any other evening. The soft creamy rich egg custard was hidden under a thick seafood gravy. I really enjoyed this unique dish. The miso black cod is always flaky and delicious. And the crab fried rice it's nestled on also never disappoints. The rich New Zealand stir fried lamb and shiitake mushrooms over pea shoots was a fabulous hearty dish on this chilly March evening. The braised short ribs were so tender no knife was needed, they flaked apart with the fork. And the e mein noodles were perfectly al dente. The dinner wrapped up with a crème brûlée that only Kwok's could pull off - red bean. Creamy smooth. Not overwhelming. The perfect burnt sugar layer on top. The regular menu is just as delicious. Small inside seating area, so recommend always make a reservation. In the summer there's a fabulous patio area out front. Limited street parking.
