This is the entranceway into this China king buffet. Very very clean display, clean tables and great reception.

I cannot give this place a very good rating because of the taste of the food the chicken melted in your mouth as if it wasn't even real chicken. The beef was a very lite texture as well. Several of the entrées were cold and I had to wait for food to be served at 11:30. This is just unheard of to be serving cold food when they very first open. If you're hungry and you want "quantity over quality than this is the place. But if your tastebuds are seasoned, this is not the place for you.

Beef chow mie fun...WTH is this?!!!

Don't waste your money! I normally like the food here, especially their beef chow mei fun and hot and sour soup. Unfortunately the food I ordered tonight made me think if the original owner sold this place. Beef chow mei fun is the worst I have ever seen in my life. Very plain with a few pieces of pale beef and veggies...you can see from the pictures. The rice sticks are white no color and beef is pale. No flavor at all and it's not even stir fried!! Looks like they boiled everything and put them together. There are even egg shells in the eggs too. Yikes Hot and sour soup is a joke. All I can taste is soy sauce.its not sour nor spicy. There's not much stuff in the soup. Only a few bamboo , mushroom stems, tofu, pork in it. Mainly just liquid. yeah, you hear me right.... mushroom stems!! you don't even deserve mushrooms, you deserve mushroom stems! It's a rid off with the price they charged you. Over all, it was the worst $20 I've ever spent. Stay away if you can. I personally for sure would never go back again. Terrible!!!How dare they serve this kind of crap in a restaurant? Seriously!!

Wonton, soup, crab Ragoon and orange chicken allegedly

Terrible. I'd give zero stars if I could That is all I can say why are the wontons pink? Why is there no crab and cream cheese in the ragoons? Why does the orange chicken look like that? Why so chewy and tough how is this $40?!! First time trying this place and now I just want my moneys back at this point. I'm already sick with the flu. I'm not trying to get sicker.

There's just something comforting about a warm bowl of Pho; it's basically a hug in soup form. Of course, we also had to order a few of our longtime favorites -- the Salt & Pepper Shrimp and Sesame Chicken. Both were delicious as always and definitely hit the spot. So happy to finally have a place in Fernley that serves Pho. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!

Dragon City is the one of the best dining establishments in Fernley, NV. There, I said it, and I stand by it. Inside, you will find a comfortable atmosphere with warm lighting and friendly service. Especially compared to other places in town, the seating is quiet, comfortable, and inviting. The food may be a little on the pricey side, but you get a TON of it with every serving and will have extra food to eat for the next day or two, easily, to the point it's like purchasing food for a family of three for three days. I usually order my food to-go, over the phone, and it's usually ready in ten minutes. Even if they say the wait will be 20-30 minutes, it's generally ready in 15-20. They'll even text you when the food is ready! Dragon City's food is flavorful and consistent, which cannot be said for the other Chinese food restaurants in town (and none of them have even close to the same atmosphere). What I especially appreciate about this establishment is that their meat is always tender, especially their Sesame Chicken. Wow, what a dish! It's my family's favorite. Our other go-to dishes are Broccoli Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Pork Mu-Shu, and of course the trusted standbys, Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, and an order of Pot Stickers. Their Sweet & Sour Pork and Orange (or Lemon) Chicken are pretty decent, too, but sometimes a little sweeter than we're in the mood for since we're also getting the Sesame Chicken nearly every time. All-in-all, Dragon City is one our favorite places to frequent in this little town. We had avoided even trying the place back when it was called, IIRC, "Louie's Chinese Bistro." I just couldn't picture a guy named 'Louie' running a Chinese place, and "Bistro", a French word for a place that cooks comfort food... yeah, I couldn't reconcile that as a place I wanted to go for Chinese cuisine. I don't know if they changed ownership or just the name, but once they became Dragon City, we gave them a shot and we are very happy we did. The quality was so far over the other Chinese places in town that we've never been tempted to go elsewhere again.

The atmosphere was nice, clean, well decorated, and organized. I forgot the name of our waitress, but in the middle of me asking a question she walked off said I'll be right back. She was the youngest waitress there. She did come back and apologize, no issue was made, I accepted apology said it's alright and proceeded to order. Our order was Pho #9 with meatballs to go and one for the table, honey garlic chicken served with fried rice. While waiting for our order we were served water and our drinks. Along with the water a pitcher was placed in the table to refill the water cups, which was greatly appreciated. Son enjoyed a bottled Sapporo and added on some potstickers. The fried rice served with the meal was washed, but was on the mushier end, and any additions to the rice were missing. It was basically white rice, and soy sauce with a couple of pea sized speckles of egg, and I mean a couple, as you can see in the video. The pho was decent at best, the large portion was the small portion in other pho restaurants. Son loves it and enjoyed his meal greatly. The honey garlic chicken was fried to a crisp, and then sauced. The fry held up to the heavy thick sauce. The potstickers were good. They seemed almost deep fried or air fried as opposed to a traditional pan fry where one side is toasted and the rest it soft textured. However it was still pleasantly tasty and was served with a decent sauce! Would I return? Probably not, I have no doubt that it's good for this small town!!!

I know when you see the word "express" in the restaurant name, I'm not gonna expect some kinda authentic Asian experience. It's gonna be fast food American Chinese kinda food. I'll just get the food and bring it back to the hotel and we'll eat there. Going in, there's actually space to eat there if you want. Not a big dining area but decent enough. The menus are all up on the walls as well as online. Amazing this Chinese restaurant has an actual working website! Most Chinese places have no website, or just basic to place orders. Placing the orders was no prob. I see they have a lot of "bowl" dishes sort of set up for the single diner. I think a lot of workers come here to get food. There's a ton of workers of all types in this area, but no one actually lives out here by the Gigafactory and related places. I ordered, general chicken, house chow mien, a couple of orders of pot stickers, honey walnut shrimp and house fried rice. That should be enough food. I didn't have to wait too long and the food was packed and ready. Good thing the hotel is just a few minutes away and the food stayed nice and hot. We unpacked the food and used some plates from the hotel. I pretty much know what the crew likes, so everybody was happy. The general chicken was a pretty good version. The food was fine, but it honestly reminded me of lower quality Chinese food you might find at a gas station. It filled me up, but the flavor was nothing special or memorable. As for the ambiance, it was very typical and nothing stood out. Simple seating and a basic setup, which matched the no frills feel of the place. Overall, decent service and fast food, but the food quality and atmosphere keep it at a solid three star experience.

I am not a big lamb fan, but this New Zealand lamb was tender and non-gamey. The ahi tartare portion anywhere else would have been a shareable appetizer. But each person was served a large portion of delicious fresh ahi. Mmmm this course and a glass of wine could be dinner alone any other evening. The soft creamy rich egg custard was hidden under a thick seafood gravy. I really enjoyed this unique dish. The miso black cod is always flaky and delicious. And the crab fried rice it's nestled on also never disappoints. The rich New Zealand stir fried lamb and shiitake mushrooms over pea shoots was a fabulous hearty dish on this chilly March evening. The braised short ribs were so tender no knife was needed, they flaked apart with the fork. And the e mein noodles were perfectly al dente. The dinner wrapped up with a crème brûlée that only Kwok's could pull off - red bean. Creamy smooth. Not overwhelming. The perfect burnt sugar layer on top. The regular menu is just as delicious.
