Came here with my girls on New Years (Jan 1st) and I'm lucky I didn't have to pay a dime. The place was practically empty, and we hadn't arrived until around 12:30am. The workers seemed hospitable and the kitchen was still open for serving food. The music played was a good mix of Afrobeats, Hip Hop, and Rap but no one around us seemed to be enjoying it. The only folks who were dancing in the place were the people in our section. The bottle girls came out with our drinks very unenthusiastically and unentertaining. It definitely didn't help set the mood or hype us up. All in all, I did not have a fun time here and left after an hour of arriving. I won't be back. To start I spent $100 on 14 wings and 2 drinks. This place was dead on a Sunday night. There was no one at the door to check IDs (so if you're under 21, u can sneak in). We called ahead and they said it would be $100 after midnight ..... I'm not sure what you would be paying for.... they claim to be a "bistro" but the only item on their menu is chicken and fries. Oh and not French fries, just fried potato chips. U can smoke weed here (I smelled it), and they have hookah. They ran out of liquor as well (it's currently 11pm). Came in 10:39 p.m. on a Wednesday night. I asked security guard are they open because it didn't look like it was open. He said I was the first person there! Go in. The bathroom you can literally see the men's room from the sink. No mirror. Nobody inside. I just wanted some hookah. Chick at the register said $60! There's nobody inside! Why are you charging me so much?! I ask her where's the hookah girl. She states she hasn't even come yet. Ma'am why are you charging me when my hookah can't even be prepared now?! Tl;dr I'd definitely come back but on a Sat night (maybe Fri night?) Not sure about atmosphere. Music was great! M U S I C Great!! Perfect loudness. No sharp sounds. Strong bass but not too much that you'd feel palpitations. Mostly how and Caribbean songs. Upbeat, very danceable music! Quick swaying music if you "can't dance" ;). DJ has great transitions! Doesn't spend too much time on each songs or on the transition itself. Sometime you don't even notice the song change.. this guys really good. I'd definitely come back but on a Sat night. If you don't hookah, they'll politely excuse you from the seating once people start needing the space. The crowd seemed a bit off-putting; very clique. We've been to other Caribbean clubs and we didn't get that feeling. Not sure if it's because it was so empty or because we didn't smoke? Plenty of seating but plenty of dancing space. On tonight's docket we have: VODS Lounge and Bistro - a business with no basic operational capability and no capacity to comprehend the proper execution of customer service. Count 1: We get there for the booth reservation at 10:30pm. Waitresses have no idea of the booth placement. They're surprised and rambling to "call somebody" Count 2: The waitress finally tells us, as we are standing around waiting for direction; "oh y'all can sit right here" in what appeared to be THE DUNGEON. All of us like, ummm... why we gotta sit in the pit, what about up there? The waitress: "they want this area to fill up so it'll look like it's people in here. GIRL WHET? Count 3: We were told the kitchen opened at 11:30. It's almost midnight and guess what kitchen is CLOSED. Count 4: Since the opening of the kitchen was delayed, we asked for the first bottle (mind you there's a 2 bottle minimum). Waitress comes back. "We're out of cups and ice." BRUH, like that's akin to McDonald's being out of BUNS. This place is a joke. Me and my friends came here and one of them forgot their ID. The bouncer had a fake police badge on so I guess that made him feel important. This place has no cover charge, but we wanted to charge her $20 to get in. We walked away from him because we weren't here for the foolishness. We noticed there weren't any other cool places around so we got a lyft back to our hotel. We had to wait 5 minutes for the ride. Mind you, we're just 3 young women trying to enjoy our night. I'm not sure if it's because we seem naive or because we are tourist, but a lot of the men felt like they could intimidate us. It was men that worked there and men attending the lounge. We were surrounded by about 10 men. They were touching us and asking if we wanted to have a good time. The bouncer said he would let us in, but one of my friend's were ugly. Another man acted like he was pulling a gun put on us. I thank god that our ride came, because those men were harassing us and they thought it was joke. Like I said, maybe it's because we were new to the city and they felt like they can take advantage. I just know I'm never coming back. If you come, bring protection. read more

This place has a great vibe! If you love the night life this is the place for you! They have hookah, food, & drinks! The place is pretty big and the DJ plays hits all night! I love the night life so this is definitely one of my favorite places to go! read more

This place is LIT! I came in here on a Monday by myself just trying to chill and ended up turning up. Got some dances of a girl threw money one her, she was lit. my favorite part about this place is the oxtails.. i have been there a few times and i had an ok time... 2 different occasions was a different story.. on one occasion there was shooting in front of there which end up a man dying and in literally happened right in front of us.. second occasion a fight happened inside between 2 men and the owners were telling people to take the injured man who was bleeding from his head outside because they didn't want it to be reported inside their establishment.. i mean the guy had a bad head injury and they were trying to kick him out.. he was bleeding so much and could barely walk and they were trying to kick him out.. i will never return there again for the simple fact that they treat injured people like dead dogs read more

Horrible. They charged $20 at the door and the most expensive tasteless hookahs for $60. The drinks are watered down and basically $20 for one drink. Finding parking is not the easiest. I will say there are so very beautiful black woman that come here. Don't be tricked by the people standing outside though, it'll look like there are a lot of people there but it's empty inside. Huge disturbance on the sidewalk just outside the lounge after 3:00 AM. Almost called 911 for fear someone was going to get hurt.

Music is great & so is the service. Drinks are on point especially the fishbowl. Definitely have to try the catfish/tilapia they have on Saturday. Went there last Saturday and it was great!
