Overall, had a good time at volcano hot pot. The pork bone broth and the miso broth are both very good highly recommend. The servers don't exactly give you direction on what to do so if you have questions, just ask them otherwise they won't really direct you to what's available for KBBQ versus what's available for hot pot. I personally love the spam and the Gyoza and the shrimp options for the hot pot. My only negative is that if people are sitting at the tables before you, they tend to grab the better vegetables. It was quite some time before broccoli and bean sprouts were available for myself to grab other than that. The place is very clean and decently priced.

This is my 3rd time visiting Volcano Hot Pot. This time my group did the lunch hot pot only. I love this place because you can do hot pot and KBBQ at the same time. The service here is great. Lunch hot pot was $19.99. I think this is a great value for the buffet of meats, veggies, and noodles to go in your hot pot. I love getting the pork bone broth and mixing spicy broth with it. Lots of assortment of meats on the buffet. Variety of seafood and beef, pork, chicken. Great place to check out!

We have eaten here many times At first, the staff never told us that the children cost $14.99 The staff has never measured my daughter but said she was 4.5feet My child has never received any hot pot for $14.99 The bill clearly states that it is 4.5 feet for $14.99 but my child is not even 4 feet. This restaurant is in fraudulent business, so everyone should be vigilant

I love this place! After always seeing this restaurant, i've finally tried it. They had great soup options such as the spicy soup and the pork bone broth which were both flavorful. They had a decent selection of sides and i loved the sauce selection even more. Their crabs were large and were tasty! The servers were nice and quick. This place was clean and spacious. I'm ecstatic that there's a hot pot near me.

I enjoyed my experience, and I would love to come back! The staff were nice (even though we arrived with only an hour and a half to spare) and I love the fun and creative concept of creating your own hot pot. I believe they some of the low ratings are due to people coming on busy days or coming with a large group. My advice: come on a week day with a group of 3 or less.

It proves that 469-289-3098 is indeed Volcano Hot Pot & BBQ Carrollton location phone number that I didn't just make it up!

Something very bizarre happened to us on Friday lunch time. At the time it was 12:05pm Friday, they have two occupied tables. As soon as we sat down, a male person (possibly a manager) came and asked if we are dining with them for the first time, which we were. He told us we have two options: AYCE or à la carte. When I asked how much is the AYCE price per person, he told us $42.95 for AYCE!!! That's absurd!!! I then asked if it is for lunch price, he firmly said it is. I said that I literally called the night before and asked about the AYCE price and been told $19.99 hot pot and $23.99 with bbq 12:00 pm until 3.30pm for Friday lunch. He said I must called the other place which might be a promotion price but those prices are NOT for Carrollton location. I checked my phone number and it is indeed the phone number of 469-289-3098 and he still said that's not their Carrollton phone number, and their phone number starts with 214. I have NEVER EVER encounter such lies being told by the people who are working at the restaurant who literally pushing their customer away!!!!!!! It's obvious that they are only offering us the highest-margin option. The other upsetting part is that we drove over 45 mins to visit this Volcano Hot Pot & BBQ in Carrollton! By denying their own phone number is a red flag. That's not confusion -- that's deflection.

Came in on a Saturday night after spending all day outside on a cold day. The restaurant itself isn't super big. We waited 15min to be seated and my only complaint with this is while we waited there was no where to wait. We were just in the way of the door. Once we were seated it was fine. The hot pot was limited but I kinda expected this with a place that serves hot pot AND Korean bbq. Regardless I enjoyed the meats in the Korean bbq and the soup for hot pot. Service was also limited since it's all AYCE and self serve. Everyone had their individual soup. It seemed like a good place for big groups or solo eating.

My first time trying hot pot and this place was awesome since they have hot pot and bbq. Most places require that all people in your party do the same thing so it was nice that we could order what we wanted. I went with hot pot and bbq. It is only $3 more so not bad! The spicy soup base had a kick to it and it was good. I loaded up with meat and seafood, but I should have did the noodles last if I even wanted any. I definitely need to be more strategic with it. Since it was my first hot pot I just loaded it all up. Everything was good. Everyone working here was super friendly and helpful. This place definitely got packed.

3.5 stars! This place is clean and the table lay out os efficient... they dont have too many seats for large parties. I like that you can do both kbbq and hotpot. It's pretty much self serve. Grab all your food and you cook it yourself. It was $28.99 for hotpot and $32.99 if you want both (as of 06/2024).

Very good, they have many options for BBQ and HotPot, only $32 per person for both, very nice staff, highly recommend!

Our waitress was very attentive from the beginning and offered enthusiastic recommendations. Our pork bone broth was delicious and we tried many kinds of meat and add ins, and they were great with sane portions. Didn't really feel like we missed out on anything by not buying the extra charge items and we both filled up quickly. There's little desserts at the sauce bar, and also a few things off the menu. We tried them all and found them neutral overall in flavor; nothing impressive, but still pleasant. The difficult thing about this place is the price. A few $ more than Seapot, but you also have to pay for broth, which can add up to $14 more PER broth, which is why bf and I only got one. So while I'd say this place was very good, Seapot is better value and would be my choice over this place. However, bf and I agreed that this place is definitely a better choice over Hai Di Lao.

Lee DaeGam has now become one of my favorite Korean AYCE hot pot places, and I really want to go back next time I'm in the DFW. The dinner shabu is $29.95 per person for dinner, and the dinner KBBQ is $32.95 per person; you can also do the combo for $7 more per person. You order the broth and the meats from the server. They have a wide variety of veggies, seafoods, sides, toppings, and noodles to choose from at the buffet. There's also a DIY sauce station as well as an ice cream machine. The broths and meat qualities were also really great. I went with the seafood broth, and the broth was delicious. For the meats, I tried all of the beef cuts, and my favorites were definitely the short rib, ribeye, and brisket.
