My mother is low-income so Lila spent an entire year qualifying her for a special program, didn't forget us, and alerted us when she was finally accepted. Ivan, another owner, ran the installation team with two very professional gents, Jairo and Rafael. Every time they came in and out of the house they put on shoe covers and were all very patient with questions. They were flexible with moving trucks and were legitimately friendly and kind every moment. Very professional. The base Mitsubishi unit they recommended is stunning. We are now sitting in a warm home that hasn't felt true heat in years and are forever grateful. I have worked with numerous HVAC companies over the years and this one has been my favorite. We really wanted to go with a heat pump, but due to some circumstances that are unique to our house, we decided to go with a gas furnace replacement. We didn't make a decision right away, and Richard would check in with us on occasion, but wasn't pushy at all. Then, when our furnace gave out completely (in the middle of a cold snap in December), he was able to revise our quote quickly. We took three other bids; Castle's was the best on price and we liked their maintenance program, which we plan on purchasing. We also appreciated the time taken with us to answer questions and commit to a timely install. Key to decision was their proposal to a required change in furnace configuration and redesign / alteration of the ductwork. Even though we were in the midst of the holiday season, Castle committed to get the job done before Christmas, and did just that. Called Chris, and he was able to come out immediately, based on our schedule. He spent some time checking everything out, and immediately identified that the issue was with a capacitor in the AC unit. He swapped out the part, and had everything fixed in less than an hour. Pricing was VERY reasonable, especially since we had just been quoted for a whole new system! I cannot recommend Affordable Heating and Air enough, incredibly satisfied on all fronts. With both, a unexperienced office person answered and both could not give me the estimate I was looking for. Both required a technician to physically check the unit at a cost. It seemed I had no choice but make an appointment with each. Frustrated on knowing I'm going to be paying someone for not fixing the furnace, I contacted Adams Heating to see what they had to offer.
