During installation, they ran into several challenges with placement of the new unit and some wiring that needed more attention. They worked through and around them to make everything work out in the end. I really appreciate their flexibility and expertise to navigate all the roadblocks without changing the scope of work. TIP: Measure the space where the unit is going to be placed and make sure the new unit will fit OR that you discuss this before the project starts.

After the repairs, I asked him how much of the $460 was for parts and how much was for labor. He said about 50% for each. I then let him know that I found the part for $25. He responded that he doesn't buy the parts himself. So I paid $25 for parts and $435 for 15 minutes of work. Yes, I wish I had gone with another company.

We needed to replace a 24 year-old heating and air-conditioning system, Galaxy came up as number one of our first choice. We made an appointment, A gentleman came out, he emailed us a quote, a day or two later. When we had more questions, Galaxy sent out another gentleman to go over additional questions and we settled on the same, trane/American standard system . Within a week the full system was scheduled for install. The young men who installed the system were very respectful of the property very respectful of my father since his house is immaculate. You would've never known they were even there they cleaned up so well. They completed all the work in one day, which was shocking they went above and beyond and replaced a water nozzle that had been leaking under his house for who knows how long. My electric range was tripping the breaker. I figured it must have been a short in the electric range. The guy came out and said there's a problem with my breaker. Paid this guy $75 and paid electrician $150 to tell me it wasn't my breaker. In fact, you can hear something click inside the range when it gets power and its infact the range. Lazy people did not want to troubleshoot properly. Bought a new range and everything works now!! Go back to school!

The quoted price for a two-head unit with external pump was in line or lower than the competing bids, backed by an extended multi-year warranty as Mitsubishi Diamond Certified installers. Heat pumps installed alongside existing central air is not an uncommon request, but we had a great conversation with Brook on how we might update to a more modern system in the future, given our original(!) furnace's age. Side questions for him aside, we had a thoughtfully sized system outlined and quoted within a day, and scheduled within two weeks. Our experience with the installation was similarly great, with the team arriving promptly as scheduled and taking the care to put on shoe coverings moving through the house. Everyone was polite and efficient, bringing the plan to life and bringing us in early when there were onsite decisions to be made in our unique spaces. When an issue arose on the cooling not blowing as cold as we had expected, they were quick to assist with troubleshooting, and had it fully remediating within the week. Permits are still pending due to the Oakland backlog, but their lead electrician will also be onsite during the inspection process so I have no worries there. While our immediate need during the heat wave this Spring was cooling our living spaces, I have full confidence that whenever we go to multizone heating and cooling, Spot Free will be our go-to experts!

I saw the great reviews for AIS and noticed a $58 service call special advertised on Yelp, so I reached out. Making an appointment was incredibly easy. Brenham arrived in just a few hours. He was pleasant to work with and clearly knew his stuff. He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it; it turned out to be a disconnected wire, so it was a pretty simple fix. While he was there, he also looked at another issue I was having with my heater short-cycling. It turned out the motherboard needed to be replaced, and he luckily had one with him. The price was on the higher side for a relatively simple swap, but I understand I am paying for his expertise, and since he fixed my AC on the spot, it seemed fair. He offered various other upgrades and maintenance plans, but all of that felt unnecessary for a 34-year-old system that is on borrowed time, so I declined. I would definitely use this company again and was very satisfied with the service.

This made me feel comfortable selecting Alfonso, since I deal with related situations at work and believe I had a good understanding of what needed to get done. I had a toilet upstairs leak through the wax ring and water poured through my ceiling in the downstairs bathroom. I knew I had to resolve the issue quickly as the water was contaminated and would cause mold issues if not dealt with quickly. I received a few quotes, but selected All Action. Alfonso scanned with the infrared camera, delineated the areas that were wet during the initial visit. They removed the wet sheet rock/drywall, wiped/sprayed all exposed areas with an antimicrobial, then ran the air scrubber/filter and dehumidifier for a few days.

We hired all action to remediate our house in 2024. Unfortunately two years later, we did an ERMI…read moreand bad molds were still detected so we took things one step further and hired a mold dog. The mold dog flagged all the places that were "remediated" by all action. The drywall with mold were all taken out but unfortunately the studs with mold were just encapsulated and painted over, therefore still exposing us to molds. I've learned that the proper way of treating studs is to remove and replace and if that's not possible, sand, hepa vacuum, antimicrobal and wire brush all the mold out of the studs. Unfortunately, we learned our lesson the hard way. Please be sure to properly vet your potential mold remediation company and understand if they do things properly and rid of ALL the mold. If you need your house to be medically clean of mold, steer clear from this company. They don't care about clients, they just want to get their foot through the door, get rid of the easy mold on the drywalls and not put in the hard work to really get the mold out of the studs. They will just cover up all the mold with white sealant and call it a day. Again we had an ERMI done two years later, which stachy and chaet still showed up. Learn about your molds, these are the baddddd molds. We then took things further and hired a mold dog & she flagged all the places we remediated. They're also not IICRC certified. Wish I had done better research earlier. See photos.
