Now let's talk food... the brisket was out of this world! Tender, flavorful, and just the right amount of smokiness. Paired with the coleslaw (so fresh and delicious) and their BBQ sauce that was sweet but not overpowering, the whole combo was dynamite. I even had to snap a "before" pic of the plate--and let's just say the "after" pic didn't survive because it was THAT good! They were out of dessert during our visit, but I'll definitely be back to try that cinnamon and lemon pound cake that customers around us were raving about. Big shoutout to Vi and to Penelope (I believe she was the cook that day) for serving up not just a meal, but an experience. The layout was super cool and very clean. I never knew this place was in Alpine but I found my new barbecue spot. Definitely come and support as they are a hidden gem We'll 100% be back soon--thanks again for the warm hospitality and amazing food!

I had the HOP CLOUD HAZY, very good and my husband had the GOOD TO GO IPA (2) so obviously it was good. The pretzel bites were delicious! We split the Jalapeno popper burger and fries. Very yummy, and a bit spicy but followed it up with my Hazy and it was all good. Highly recommend this place and kudos to Nolan for making it a great experience for us.

Fast forward to today - we received a gift card as birthday present months ago & we finally decided to use it today and unfortunately, had the same experience... slow service. We were there around 4pm & they were not busy at all. The staff actually looks & acts like they're unhappy to see you. Their sign says to grab a menu, pick a table & order from your server or at the bar. We waited 10 minutes for a server at our table that never came so I went to the bar & waited another 10 minutes to be helped by the 1 & only bartender serving the entire restaurant. So many more rude & weird things happened after this, including never getting our bill & the fact that 1/2 the tables were empty & dirty. Weirdest thing of all is there were about 2-4 men standing around doing nothing but serving dirty looks and the one & only female server kept sitting down at 1 guests table. Not coming back.

Using the Albertson'a app has been a such a gift. There are digital only deals for online orders…read morethat are just killer. However, the quality of their customer service has been inconsistent - from downright horrible to great. My first time picking up an order went as smooth as silk. The next few times were ridiculous. Our pick up time wasn't upheld. Not only that, they hadn't yet started gathering our items. Another time, we were lied to about our online order - whether they actually received it or not - then about whether they had employees available, etc. We set pickup time for 6pm but physically picked it up around 8:30pm. I was promised a follow-up from the local manager by the online customer service rep but never received it. The online deals are hard to beat so we won't stop altogether but we may try alternatives before shopping here.

Bought a pie one day just to at least get a receipt code for Black Ops 7, and the young lady working register just crumpled it up and throws it away without giving it to me. I had to literally tell her that the receipt was my only reason for purchase & she begrudgingly took the receipt back out of the trash and uncrumpled it to give it to me. Woodside LC in Lakeside way cooler, they literally gave me an entire plastic bag of receipts last time. 1 out of 5 stars, unless LC wants to kick me over some codes ;)

But it'll correct itself in your bank. I can ring you up again on this computer." I left without food and in FACT PAID TWICE BECAUSE BOTH CHARGES WENT THRU AND DID NOT "CORRECT ITSELF" Zero stars. Horrible business practice.
