    Chicken sandwich and Burger King

The view and ambience was spectacular, we went for the sunset and it was gorgeous! However, we were incredibly disappointed with the food. We tried the chicken sandwich ($22) and their house burger ($26). The burger had just arugula that wasn't fresh, nothing that made it worth that much money. The chicken sandwich was incredibly bland and had a tiny bit of coleslaw. Overall, I was so disappointed for spending that kind of money for food that had no effort. Would only return for drinks during happy hour maybe. I really hope the management puts some effort into their food and presentation! They have an incredible opportunity to be a highly rated restaurant.

Everything about this place is Awesome!! Food was delicious, service was The Best I've seen since we've been here, and the views are a wow factor! Hostess and our server were accommodating, kind and so helpful! Great gluten-free options, and no flack about cross contamination! We look forward to going back.

The view is breathtaking. My partner and I enjoyed sitting up here for some drinks yesterday. The waiters are pretty attentive, but we only got drinks so there were definitely lulls. My drink was okay but I didn't complain. My partner enjoyed his beer.

WOW - This might be one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen at a restaurant! Perfect mountain/lake Dillion views no matter where you're sitting! What a great happy hour - It is from 3-5 which is perfectly aligned with check in! The cheese curds and coconut shrimp were tasty but the chicken wings are amazing!! We loved the Sriracha teriyaki sauce. I removed one star because we waited a while for our fries and when they did come out, they were cold but good flavors. Our waitress was very sweet and we had a nice overall experience!

Just one of the unprofessional email threads with Shawn Q
    Lisa S.

We had high hopes for hosting our wedding reception here, but the experience was ultimately stressful and disappointing. Communication from our original contact, Shawn Q., was slow, unprofessional, and at times outright rude. Key details were changed without notice, questions went unanswered for weeks, and there was no proactive planning support. After posting in Colorado wedding groups, multiple brides reached out to say they also felt like a burden for asking basic questions, so this seems to be a pattern, not an isolated case. The final straw was traveling from Chicago to Dillon for our menu tasting, only to find it hadn't been planned at all. Shawn Q. wasn't even on site, despite selecting and confirming the date and time six weeks earlier. When she did arrive, she was very late, came in with an attitude, and never offered an apology. On the positive side, Hunter, the Food & Beverage Manager, handled a bad situation with professionalism and empathy, and GM Shawn O. was courteous, responsive, and promptly refunded our deposit when we chose to cancel. Unfortunately, the prior 10 months of poor communication had already left us uneasy about trusting this venue with such an important day, and we ended up finding a new location just 3 months before our wedding. The views are beautiful, but if you're planning a wedding here, make sure you have the right people involved (like a dedicated wedding planner), or be prepared for unnecessary frustration. This venue has been the only stressful part of wedding planning for me, and we are relieved to have moved on. Tips: Review the bar packages carefully. At $45 per person per hour, a 5-hour event for 60 guests would be $13,500, making the $12,500 minimum for the 60-person "Loveland" package feel like a bait-and-switch. Ask about the new condo building going up directly in front of the hotel; sales are already starting this year (https://www.waterviewdillon.com).

    Wagyu burger and fries.

The atmosphere is pretty great with live music and friendly staff. The food prices are what you would expect in a ski town. $10+ beers and burgers $20+. I had the wagyu burger and fries. The meat was very good but the slices were way too big to take bites of without the bun completely falling apart. I diced the meat up and rebuilt the burger --- it was great after that. Food came out pretty quick too.

It's nice to have a bar/restaurant at your hotel so you don't have to drive. The wife and I came up for cocktails after being tourist in the area all day. Nice place! The bar was nice, the cheese curds were good and we enjoyed the "Vue". It does have great views of the mountains and Lake Dillon. It is pricey but we really didn't care much. The place is new, the wait staff are young kids from the area trying to make a go it. So, if you did get good service give them a little love with the tip. I asked if they were able to pocket their tips or had to pool them. Our young lady said she got to keep them. Would I make this my regular watering hole? Probably not, but if you're in the area it's definitely worth a "one and done". It looks like a great place to rent out for small social gatherings as well. I wasn't overly "Wowed", but worth the elevator trip up.

The Vue Rooftop is located in the beautiful Homewood Suites. Jordan, the Manager, was kind and went out of his way to make us feel welcome on both visits, even while being Hostess, waiter, and Manager! Austin was the bartender the first night and was a super cool guy who made beautiful cocktails! Another guy was working that night who had only been there three days (sorry, I did not catch his name), and he was so upbeat and friendly! Our food, from appetizers, salad, and main course (a perfectly cooked filet), was fantastic! On top of all that, the view was breathtaking! We were able to catch a double rainbow after a short drizzle that was amazing! I highly recommend The Vue and will return when in Dillon, CO! Great job!

We went here for my bestie's bachelorette party, and it was the perfect environment with amazing food, drinks, and views! Our server Jordan really made the night memorable with great hospitality and made us really feel at home. He was the server for the entire restaurant but was still so attentive to every table! Our table got a salad with steak, polenta ragú, scallop gnocchi, and wild-caught salmon. If you're coming from out of town- or if you live in town and haven't been here yet- VUE Dillon is the way to go!

You will love the "view" at the Vue! Everything else only hits the satisfactory button. The concept of this roof top bar is great! The interior is quaint but small. There is outside seating but the host said the heaters never work, hmmm. Since it was about 38 degrees outside we opted for indoor seating. Next up we asked for the wine list; the waiter tells us there is no drink menu available? All of our meals were "bland", lacking flavor. The staff, while "business" friendly, all seemed to be pre-occupied. I wanted to really like this place, but other than the view I wasn't very impressed.

The crème brûlée and the best bartender you could ever experience!

I honestly don't like leaving bad reviews, but this experience was terrible…read more I ordered mac and cheese with chili and pork, and what came out looked like plain microwaveable Kraft mac and cheese. There was no chili, no pork, nothing -- just basic mac and cheese that tasted like it came straight out of a box. My friend ordered a burger that was supposed to come with lettuce, blue cheese, and the works. Instead, it arrived with just chicken and bread. That was it. No toppings at all. The water we were given was also incredibly dirty -- it literally looked grey. Service somehow managed to be both overwhelming and nonexistent. While we were eating, the waiter came back to the table every couple of seconds so we couldn't even have a conversation. But when we were actually ready for the check, suddenly there was no waiter anywhere and we fwaited about 15 minutes. On top of that, every request got mixed up. I asked for blue cheese and after about 10 minutes the waiter came back with ranch. Then I asked for lemon vinaigrette (which the meal was supposed to come with) and instead got honey mustard. After explaining again, she came back with... even more honey mustard. We also paid $10 for fries with green chili and received about 15 fries. And one more thing when paying they did NOT bring my card back for about 20 minutes. It was also extremely dark where we were sitting all of the surrounding lights were off but everywhere else in the resteraunt was perfectly fine Overall the food quality, service, and attention to orders were extremely disappointing. Definitely not an experience I'd repeat don't waste your money here.

There was absolutely no way we were driving past the Frisco exit without pulling off. Outer Range is our ultimate mountain pit stop. They have an awesome location with a stunning modern build and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the fresh mountain air. It is wild to think that we just visited their sister location in the French Alps during our recent European travels. The fact that they can maintain total excellence across two different continents is unreal. The two spots are completely equal, and the Colorado taproom continues to prove why they are world-class. The beers were spectacular as always. We started out with a couple of pints of their New England-style juice. In the Steep is a masterclass in the style with a beautiful, pillowy mouthfeel and heavy tropical notes. Sun in the Clouds was just as impressive. It delivers those bright citrus flavors without the aggressive hop bitterness. I even noticed Cross Flow on the tap list, which is a fresh, hazy collaboration they just put out with Casey Brewing. Before packing back into the truck, we made sure to grab a new metal tacker to hang up in the garage. We also snagged a four-pack of Lil John Wayne. The can art is easily the funniest label on the shelf, but the actual beer is a solid ten out of ten. To fuel the final stretch of the drive home, we ordered from Bird Craft right inside the brewery. They do not cut corners here. They are frying up full wings, including the drummies and the flippers, and they will toss them in any of their house sauces for an incredible snack. The skin stays remarkably crispy even under a thick coat of sauce, and the meat stays perfectly juicy. It is exactly the kind of savory comfort food you need after a long road trip. Every single time we stop by this place, they manage to completely knock it out of the park.
