Should have just went to Panda!! But decided to come here cuz of the alerts I've been getting from the waba app! So I go to order thru the app so I can take advantage of the deals & rewards and first red flag is that NONE of the rewards worked even though my order was over $25!! Second red flag was when I went to the waba favorites, I ordered 2 waba bowl's which I assumed comes with veggies but NOPE!! They don't come with veggies nor is there an option to add them!! There's no area for notes either. So good thing I asked about the veggies cuz that's when she told me there wasn't any on the bowls!! Sooo when you order in store, you can add veggies for $1 so then after all this confusion, they charge me an extra $3 for two MINI veggies!! My friend wanted this place for lunch, so I came in and was kinda disappointed when I found put they havr a fixed combination. I was fine with getting just one whole portion. I ordered the salmon plate which looks really good. I only have one major complaint is the salmon. I know that its supposed to be grilled, I'm fine with that but maybe they over grilled it a little. Since when I take a bite, it seems I'm chewing way too much ashes. I really would prefer if they lessen the grilling instead of the taste of charcoal, ashes, smoked, or burned. The brown rice and salad taste really good and nice. Maybe next time I will try the fixed portions and see how it is. I hope they will expand their menu choices and maybe be flexible with the combination plates. They can charge a little more. Horrible customer service. Girl looked like she didn't even want to be there. She was chewing food while taking my order and sucking on her teeth. So gross. I should have left After that encounter Since I found hair in my chicken plate. She was rude to everyone who walked in and as I'm walking out I see her walk outside to keep eating. Today I experience The rudest person I ever met. I went today at 10:33 am September 12, 2019. I ordered two bowls and avocado on one of the chicken bowls. I told her to repeat the order back, and she gave me that look . And didn't look at the screen and just said it in a hasty manner. Then she gave me the food. I told her if the order was right and she said yea. I looked in side and I told her I was missing my avocado and then rudely said okay and gave it me in a rude way. Then when I got home. I find this place to be very healthy food wise and very clean. A little pricey but worth it. The vegetables were adente and the meat cooked perfectly. The teriyaki sauce is not too thick. The meat to rice ratio sucks, i ordered two steak bowls for my fiancée and myself and both bowls were filled with rice all the way up to the top with a little bit of steak scattered on the top. We love WaBa Grill but definitely will avoid this location. read more

Ordered via grub hub a couple of days ago for pick up. After seeing some reviews about how the food was not ready for pickup when yelpers arrived, I was a bit afraid. But to my surprise, the food was made really quickly. I even received notification via text from grubhub that my order was ready for pickup. The pickup process was quick and easy. Food- ordered the half chicken, half beef bowl. Meat and rice portion seemed just right for me. Chicken and beef both had this really nice grilled taste to it. Meats were pretty juicy and rice was nice and plump. My only complaint is the beef. This is my first time trying waba grill, so I'm not sure if this is how their beef normally tastes like...but it was sweet... I'm okay with teriyaki sweet, but this was beyond that. Ordered take out today. Our order was incorrect and we didn't realize until we got home. I understand mistakes happen but what I don't get is why your phones don't work! First of all, the phone number online is for the wrong location. Second, the phone number listed on Yelp doesn't work half of the time. The other half I can hear the employee pick up but she cannot hear me! After several times of trying I finally gave up and didn't want to continue to put the employee through dealing with such a crappy phone. This must be addressed. I will refrain from name dropping but it is apparent who this is once you read on. I've come here several times and it's been an easy option for a quick dinner. The other night was different All I said it a chicken plate with salad, no fruit. "Ok so chicken veggie bowl with fruit?" This was the first time. The second time I read it out to her. I said a simple chicken plate with no fruit, double salad. SHE MESSED UP MY ORDER, DIDNT PUT AVOCADO ON MY SALAD LIKE I ORDERED, NO DRESSING, CROUTONS, OR SLICED ALMONDS. She helped another customer and her coworker told her to give the customer $1.10 change. She did not understand. He had to tell her "one dollar and one dime" still did not ring a bell in her head. There is no language barrier that would excuse this. Just lack of common sense and listening skills. Please train your staff better this is a joke. How can they not have ice for their beverages? The machine isn't broken, just off and the workers don't know how to turn it on. If they are not trained to turn the machine in (also not trained to tell the customer they don't have ice when you order a fountain beverage) what else do they not know (perhaps cooking food). Poor poor poor. Customer service at a "we don't care" level. The service model seems to flow through the whole process at this store. read more

I tried to order the 2 chicken bowl specials with only vegetables because I can't eat rice. I am diabetic and they would not substitute it for veggies. The staff would not allow the special. I love that they have salmon rice bowls here! I've been looking for a simple fish and rice dish near my work place and luckily I found this place!! The rice bowl is $8 for the salmon one. If you would like salmon on the side with no rice, it will be $5.50. I thought that was a little pricey but it was good for my coworker who was on a diet and did not want to eat the rice with it. The two times I have come here around lunch time on a weekday, they have been empty which is weird. I thought they would have more customers! I also really enjoy their rice. It's not dry or super soggy. It's just right. Will be ordering more salmon rice bowls in the future! read more
