Ok. I've been missing out not eating or drinking from 'Waba Grill,' of Glendora, CA. So delish!!!! I ordered a thirst quencher from them, 'Thai Iced Tea.' Earlier tonight on 08/30/2024. The Thai Iced Tea turned out extremely delish and tasty I wished I ordered multiple. This tea had me at 'Hello.' Service: extremely friendly. 5/5~was greeted upon entrance. Ambiance~5/5~'wow sparkly clean,' was my initial reactions upon walking in like brand new or newly remodeled kind of new. Thanks for being in Glendora, CA., 'Waba Grill.' I'll be back again soon....

Every time I come to this location I am pleasantly surprised at the consistency. They give you plenty of meat unlike the San Dimas location which is an absolute embarrassment. From now on, I will only visit this location as you get your moneys worth and you get quality service unlike San Dimas.

This pace was amazing. Went in with my two little ones and asked if. Both of them could eat for free. The lady said yes, and so we preceded to order. I got the "Waba Plate." The little one go rice and chicken, and my oldest wanted something a little more. The food tasted great, the service was pretty excellent. We spilled water, twice, and the the lady that helped us was very friendly about it. Waba Grill is a place that we enjoy, and that's why we keep coming back

Stopped by this waba location the other day for something fast. I happened to be in the area and didn't know what else I was craving, so waba it was. This is only my second visit to a WaBa Grill and I have been impressed on both visits. I like how clean and spacious this location is, and there was plenty of seating. I also found the service to be really great on my visit. It appears waba has a limited, but great menu for all to enjoy. I ordered a half and half bowl with added avocado, so delicious. Additionally, I also ordered a side of soup. I found the soup to be good, but had a very unfamiliar flavor. The description of the soup said it was meant to be a mix of a tortilla soup and Asian soup, either way, it tasted like chicken in a more aromatic tomato soup. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and am happy I stopped in.

The brisket is so tender and very ample, but it's not fatty, it's very lean. The pickled veggies add that nice crunch and balances out the flavors of the meat and light mayo. The cilantro and greens are classic Viet additions and greatly appreciated! Add some pickled jalapenos and that bite is just HEAVENLY! 10/10 (note: the beef consume was just ok haha it was nice to have on the side but I didn't like the dip like I normally do with things like birria tacos) THE FRIES! I love these fries! I asked for light seasoning and it was PERFECT. The crisp was perfection (lightly battered) and the inside was still nice and soft. I love me a good side of fries, this was a pleasant surprise! Now the Santa Ana pho was good, but I don't think I'd order it again. The flavors weren't unique enough for me to justify the hefty price tag. They were generous with the meat, but for nearly $30 after tax/tip, that's a bit too much for me. If you're a light eater, this could feed 2 people!! I would order a different pho next time though as the broth was pretty clean (didn't taste too salty) and they do offer extra noodles for free! Overall, I definitely plan to come back! Come check out this place and MAKE SURE to get the brisket sandwich!! Parking was great and it's inside the Glendora Public Market so there are plenty of options for your fam and friends. Seating was ample, space was modern, it was a great Sunday hang. Note: as with most food halls, it's self service for most things. Bus your own tray and I recommend bringing your own water or grab a drink at one of these places!

I ordered the Tai Lan, which is a fun cross between phở and a noodle salad. Sliced tender ribeye sits over garlic oil phở noodles on a bed of greens and fresh herbs, tossed with a shallot tamarind sauce, topped with crispy garlic, and served with a side of their 24-hour bone broth to sip or pour over. The ribeye was genuinely tender, the tamarind sauce had a nice tangy-sweet kick, and the crispy garlic tied it all together. Added some sriracha for a little more flavor and to give it a kick. Best phở I've ever had? No. But it's a clever modern take and I left very full and very happy, which is exactly what I needed. And if phở isn't your thing, the menu sprawls into wagyu phở, garlic noodles with filet, lomo saltado, sandwiches (which look amazing) and even Vietnamese coffee with sea salt foam. Plenty to explore. This is now the first spot I'd send anyone to in the Glendora Public Market, and a real step up from the ramen place that used to be in the same space. Already plotting my return.

LOL FOOD / DRINK / DESSERT: Menu had a variety of rice, noodle, and salad options with different proteins such as chicken, steak, shrimp, and salmon. I didn't want to get the same old rice and noodle dish. Something did catch my eyes... it was the Wild Caught Alaskan Salmon Grilled Teriyaki. That's what I got. The lady staff asked me what kind of rice I wanted. When I heard egg fried rice, my eyes lifted and said yes. Well, I didn't know egg fried rice was an upgrade for $2.49 more until I saw my receipt. I know it was indicated in small print on the menu which I obviously did not notice LOL. It would have been nice if I was informed it is an upgrade and if I was okay to pay extra for it. I better ask next time. Lesson learned for me. Anyway, salmon could have been a thicker piece. Flavor was okay. Egg fried rice was okay, too. It didn't have much wok flavor to it. I didn't see too much egg. I will not upgrade next time. Veggies were the highlight of the dish. Overall, entree was just okay. Honestly, I don't think it was worth the $17+ that I paid for it. I didn't get a drink or ask for water. As for dessert, I got the complimentary fortune cookie that came with my entree. I actually don't care for their fortune cookie. It doesn't taste right to me. STAFF / SERVICE: I got a slightly warm welcome from the lady behind the counter. I got a warmer welcome from a different lady who took my order. They weren't super busy if at all. My order was to-go. They have the code key pad, but they don't appear to work. EXTERIOR / PARKING: Clean exterior. Free parking is plenty as it's located at the Glendora Marketplace Shopping Center in the City of Glendora. Btw, they don't have a drive-thru. The drive-thru that you see to the right of them belongs to Chick-fil-A. RECOMMEND THIS PLACE? I find their Asian flavors are just mediocre. Honestly, I can't say they are the most authentic Asian foods. Please try them for yourself and make your own call. Thank you!

Ended up getting a cheeseburger, onion rings, chili, cheese, fries, and a kids teriyaki bowl. Let's start with the good. The chili cheese fries are phenomenal. Their chili has a perfect level of spice, a super meaty with no beans. It's melting and gooey and warm and the portion size is good. I would happily come back just for this. The onion rings on the other hand we're disappointing. They were large and they actually look like they're homemade, but they were so limp and as you can tell from the color, not cooked enough at all. I like my onion rings to be crunchy and these were nothing of the sort. Play definitely have potential there if they cooked them longer. The cheeseburger was fine. As you would expect from a roadside stand. Nothing special, but nothing offensive. It's a little hard to judge the teriyaki bowl because it actually didn't come with this famous homemade sauce. It was just plain chicken on top of rice. I thought the chicken was kinda flavorful, but it was a little thin, so kind of dry. And the portion size was not great even for a kid. Definitely needed more meat and less rice. I did get two other sauces. One was kind of like a sweet-and-sour and the other one was... I'm not actually sure because I was too afraid to taste it. Maybe like a chili sauce? It was thick like salsa. But nowhere in my bag was there the teriyaki to be found. I feel like if your name is best teriyaki you should make sure you put it with your rice bowl. Would definitely come back again for chili cheese fries. I don't know if I would eat anything else. Cost us around $30 for this.
