Very delicious! Ordered through GrubHub and although Waba forgot my miso soup and avocado the rest of the food made up for it. I got the beef and chicken rice and veggie bowl, my sister got the tofu rice and veggie bowl and my mom got the shrimp and rice bowl. We all loved it. Also got dumplings and they were so good. So I tried again today, this time got the family meal that is supposed to be for 4 people. Half was steak and have chicken. The brown rice was for 4 people, however the veggies and proteins were not. The steak was very tasty, however unfortunately it was not enough for 4 people. The employees that helped me were nice though. 0 stars for poor customer service I emailed the company regarding the portion size of the salmon bowl and customer service. A month ago I ordered a chicken bowl through their website, but when I arrived to pick up the food, the order wasn't made. When I asked the cashier; a young woman with glasses and braces, why the food wasn't ready, she looked at the iPad to check the order and says "I dunno" with no apology or explanation. Another employee, placed the order and gave me the food right away. What's the point of ordering ahead? I was peeved not only with the employees but the company for not replying to both of my emails. If you need something quick but want something somewhat healthier than McDonald's but it isn't a salad. I like to get the 'Wabba Bowl' because it's 1/2 chicken 1/2 steak & I lay it over BROWN rice which is one of the main reasons I come here over other places. Wabba tends to get generous with their sauces so let them know in advance if you want it on the side. The atmosphere is very fast food like. Nothing special. I've been hearing about this place from my coworkers a lot and I wanted to try it since the last few times I've been to flame broiler I've been disappointed. Basically the same concept: rice bowls or rice & veggies bowls with choices of steak, chicken, shrimp or salmon. You can do plates here too. They have their own sauce & hot sauce called waba sauce just like flame broiler & their magic sauce. Around $7 for the rice bowl with steak. You can see them cook it & cut it up & it comes out fairly quickly. Good amount of food for the price, I actually hadn't finished the whole thing cause I was full. The meat here is definitely better than flame broilers but I still prefer the competitions magic sauce BUT do like the hot sauce from waba & I'm not normally a fan of hot sauces. Overall it's not the most amazing meal to me & honestly unless someone else wanted to go eat there I probably wouldn't go back on my own. I'm not knocking it though, it was tasty! read more

Oh yeah, finally a GOOD location in the San Fernando Valley. I live in Porter Ranch and the WaBa Grill on Devonshire and Canoga used to be my go to spot, but the food just doesn't taste right there. They're stingy on their portions and even on sauces/green onions. The one here allows you to put as much green onions as you want and they don't limit you on the sauces, which is VERY important to me. Disappointed. The salmon teriyaki is bland and dry. For the cost, it's just not worth it. The menu is also confusing - you can still get a combo with no drink but the price is not listed. Also the plates come with salad, not veggies, and you'll need to pay extra but none of that is on the overhead menu. It just says that the bowls don't come with veggies, which makes you think the plates do come with veggies! This location is also not very clean. Most of the tables and chairs needed a wipe down. My mom liked her chicken teriyaki and the people working there were nice - that's the only reason I'm giving them two stars. read more
