So this is my first time at this particular Waba Grill. I've always had mixed feelings about Waba Grill in general but I have to say, this one sure did make me want to come back. Not only was it extremely clean but all the employees showed a willingness to help and make the experience great. Let me also add that it's hotter than hell outside but cold inside so it made the experience much more enjoyable. In addition, the food was AMAZING! The chicken.. perfect. The tofu... perfect. I've never had such a horrible experience with Waba. I work near the fontana Sierra lakes location and I go there about 3x per week I always have amazing experiences there. I have been to three different locations, all great service and food. But this location is sooooo awful. First of all, I called in to order at 5:37 PM. Girl said it would be 10min. I go in at 5:50pm and the girl rings me up and then hands over the order to the cook to start it. (I could've sworn calling in an order meant they would start it, which is how things work everywhere else including the fontana location) I watch several other people get their orders. Even though I got there before them. Then I finally get to leave at 6.10pm. I get home at 6.15pm EVERYTHING IS BURNT. Three chicken bowls all taste like charcoal. One of the bowls wasnt supposed to have veggies and brown rice it came with veggies and white rice instead.... And my salmon bowl tastes like s**t. I gave it to my dogs and ate the rice. The one thing they got right. I cant go back cause I have somewhere I need to be at 6.30 but holy cow I will never be coming back here. So so disappointed. The staff is always friendly and my guy Ernesto (Store Manager) is always greetings customers. It's like he has a spider sense but for customers. Absolutely done with this Waba Grill location. This place does the absolute most to save every penny they can. My bowls are always filled half way with rice and very little protein whether it's the chicken or the salmon. The people at the register gave me 2 hot sauces for 4 bowls and said that was enough when I asked for more? I've came at-least 10 times to this location and every single time I do I get into a fuss with the employees because they don't want to give me extra sauces and onions? First let me clarify that I really like Waba but the location of the magnolia in Riverside Ca is no longer what it was before, you prefer to hire people who don't want to work and take away what they do, well now they have such inept cashiers that I prefer go to the mountains or Chicago to buy my food, the cashier I think her name is Jessenia, she is always on the phone and doesn't stop talking, not even to attend to people, there is one who looks like long hair who is just there doing nothing and Sometimes I have seen him recharged on the cell phone at the table where they bite the food with half a body almost on top of the table, besides it is 8:30 pm and there are no more vegetables, perhaps you do not allow that hira to do more or what happens, According to them they close at 9 pm and I have arrived at 8:50 pm and it is already closed and the cashier that I mentioned above is already counting the money so tell me what time they close. One last thing I read Ashley's criticism that she says that they treated her and her boyfriend badly and she doesn't tell them that her boyfriend demanded from the cook that he wanted freshly cooked meat (although it was fresh) and told him that he was a manager in another restaurant and I knew that the meat had been there for hours, I imagine that is where he is a manager, besides the fact that he himself was young, he told the cook that with what he earned as a manager he would pay him a week's salary that if he needed that to make fresh meat, when The cook told him that if he wanted to wait 15 to 20 minutes while they were doing it, he said no because that would not take long to cook meat, and this young man also sued the cook that he should come out and beat himself up, yes that was what she wanted so Ashley didn't tell them how arrogant her boyfriend was and that the cook was very patient with everything her boyfriend yelled at him I heard everything was there waiting for my order. This was the worst service we have ever experienced. We went to Waba the other day. It was at 7pm they close at 9 and the cook was already cleaning the hood. We asked the cashier if we could have freshly cooked meat. (Imagine eating cold tacos) She said okay. She went to tell the cook and he shrugged and said they're getting what I give them. My bf waited for them to actually serve that already cooked meat, which he did. So my bf said we asked for freshly cooked meat, he said I'm not cooking something special for you said "this meat has only been here for 15 min" the argument got heated and the cashier said they'll give a refund. We asked for the manager and phone number, he was yelling "I don't care call the manager" the cashier said "I can't give you the managers name you can call the number and ask for the manager" we called the next day and got the same statement I can't give you the managers name but I'll have them call you.
