First time at WaBa Grill... the women, Monica was an excellent customer service - she helped me with understanding which sauces didn't have sugar. The salon was a bit undercooked, but better to be undercook then overlooked. Monica quickly took care of the small issue and cooked it a bit longer. Thank you!! read more

This is a great store for ordering pick up. Heads up! Recently the menu changed and all a la carte items have been moved to sides in the menu. Also, I noticed a price increase for protein sides. Only two employees work at dinner time so expect to wait at least 20 minutes for your order as they make the orders first come first served. Lastly, They do not accept Apple Pay here. This place is really good for fast food. They have chicken, rib eye and salmon. The meat is super soft and it's served with perfectly cooked veggies - not too soft and crunchy. They also have brown rice or white. The servings are pretty big. I've been getting the bowl and my son and dad get the plate for bigger servings. But, the bowl is big enough. Every time I go here in the morning there's this one lady that works and she's so rude ! Everytime I ask for something extra she gives me attitude , and today I asked her for wonton strips for my salad and she said that it would be extra so I said that's fine any other time I go there they never charge me . First time here. The steak plate wasn't bad at all. The loaded miso soup was terrible! There was nothing miso about it. It was basically rice, tofu, onions and water. Zero miso :(. The lady who took my order was handling money and not washing her hands after to handle the food then I saw one of the employees going to the restroom and drying her hands with her clothes, then I was going to leave but my food was ready that I decided to sit and eat But I found not one but 4 hairs in my food I stop eating I decided to go to the employee and let her know just to be careful and that was going to be it ......I was going to let it go but her attitude was horrible, she basically call me a liar. She keep touching her head and saying I cook the chicken and i don't put my hair in the chicken.... Listen lady to cook you need a hair net and obviously she wasn't wearing one. Second visit at this place and it is truly horrible! I really wanted to like it bc I normally love WaBa Grill. But today's meal was so bad that we can't even tell if we were eating beef or burnt ribbons of who knows what... it looked like burnt, minced tofu and tasted like burnt bits of something. Like the griddle was scraped and its crumbs placed on a bed of tasteless rice. I guess we won't be going back. Bummer! read more

their service was poor... my order was #38 and after seeing many people who came in after me receive their food i started to get suspicious so i went up and asked how far along my food is and they were like ok let me check and then didn't get back to me and so i went to my seat. later a worker came up to me and asked me if she can see my receipt (is that how u spell it???) and walked away with it. i figured this meant they lost my order. after a little longer of waiting, i finally received my order while the numbers were already in the 50's ps. food was good and the beef tastes elike beef jerky read more

The food is always good. This review is for the fact that they close at 8pm today . 09/05/20 I walk in about 7:35-7:40. I go to order the salmon bowl and I am told the grill to cook salmon and shrimp is off. I was told that they do this before closing . This is really unfortunate, I would think that the hours of operation are until 8pm with full access to the menu. If this is the standard practice of business it should say so somewhere, anywhere , I don't know maybe the menu perhaps. Anyways that is the reason for my 1 star review. One might think after this pandemic they would be eager to sell any all good items they have listed on the menu. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect access to the full menu during the business hours but then again they must not be feeling the loss of business. I would suggest posting on the menu and or the website that the full menu IS NOT available during all hours of business I should be able to walk in and order what I like. I will not be returning to this establishment any longer, there are plenty of other business around that would be happy to make the food I want . read more

I enjoyed the spicy Asian salad as a to-go order. To my dismay, I hadn't checked the salad when I returned to the office, and I was served a meager portion of chicken with the rest being salad. Dont get me wrong, the salad was excellent but I was served a palm-size piece of breast alongside a big bowl of veggies- i expect for some chicken in ratio to the veggies. I'll try to come again but if I do see the same disappointing ratio, I will let staff know and return my salad. I didnt pay for a mediocre serving of chicken. read more

Unfortunately, it wasn't the experience I was hoping for. It was OK. The combo bowl was good. What made a possibly 3 stars or maybe even a 4 go down to 2, was the burnt dumplings . It happens, but when you mess it up, let me know and tell me, "Sorry, wait a few minutes and I'll cook a new batch." - don't just put it in the bag and slip it through. Ah for all that I haven't been a great user in that I don't post copious reviews, Yelp came to the rescue this evening when many restaurants around here are long since closed. This is high quality fast food, $10 / plate or less which is something of a novelty in this area. For reference this is about the same as a Big Mac Extra Value Meal found a block north on Gaffey at this time of night or similar across the street from Jack in the Box; however, the quality is incomparably better. If you come in with reasonable expectations I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Looks as though orders are mostly expected to be takeout and wasn't well travelled at 10 pm though I wasn't the only one there. While I think they may be a year or two early at this location to truly be successful, I am glad they are here and I will absolutely be back. read more

I have eaten here a couple times and veggies are always fresh, chicken is tasty. I've had the steak and its nicely grilled as well The customer service is excellent and they go above and beyond.
