There are a ton of waba locations but this is the one I will drive to even if I'm two cities away because I can guarantee the food quality and most importantly the quality customer service ! I understand lunch hours Be hectic everywhere at 12 o'clock ! But these guys handle it with ease ! Anthony is quick attentive and will remember you as a regular and I appreciate that from him and Johnny ! They are the true definition of a "team". They are clean and efficient with their time. We were only people in the place. Could not believe they called out for us to come pick up our meals with 7 workers standing around talking. Sauce was on bowl and we had not asked for it. I've been coming to this location with (my therapy dog,8lb bichon) who has been professionally trained for 6 months now. They have always welcomed us, of course I provided his certification card etc. on our first visit. I like the freshness and garlic free cooking so I tend to go 3-4 times a week. Well today I stopped in as usual and ordered to go. When I paid I was told to go outside with my dog and they would bring it out. Ok, so I don't know what the owner of this location is thinking. We bought a Groupon that said $12 for $20 worth of food. We actually bought a few of them. We used the first two without issue. The third (and final) coupon was where we had the issue. We were informed by their manager that if we read the fine print we would know that it is actually $12 for $10 of food. Excuse me? Why would we possibly pay $12 to get only $10 worth of food?? The manager picked up a pile of printed Groupons and said that all these people thought the same as us, she had even thought the same, but the owner knew differently. According to the owner, it is the fault of Groupon and its users for not reading the fine print. Another customer stood up and walked over said he had just experienced the same thing and it didn't make sense to him either. On top of this issue, the cashier entered our order wrong twice and the manager didn't know how to properly communicate with customers. She was either very rude or totally clueless, my wife and I couldn't figure out which. The food was ok. It is almost identical to the Flame Broiler down the street. Waba has more menu options, but FB seems to do the staples slightly better and without the customer service headache. That part overrides anything the food could do. read more

First and last time sadly. Wife Nd I both got the Waba bowl with vegetables only to be disappointed. Rice was dry and rock hard as if it was left overnight in a rice cooker. Just stopped in around 1pm, there was only one other customer in there, hooray I beat the lunch rush! My food was ready in 5 minutes after placing my order, I love speedy service so I was incredibly pleased. Food is delicious as always. Only reason for giving 4 stars is because you could tell they were a little short staffed in the front of the house, the girl that was working the register was also trying to mop and she kept having to go back and forth and you could tell it was frustrating for her. We went to Waba grill on Ynez in Temecula, for an early lunch, the chicken was burned and over cooked, sure it was from the day before....I took back the chicken bowl and got a refund, not worth the hassle, but I can't believe people will pay for this crap......I think Chipotle would be the best, at least their chicken is really tender and all fresh veggies and rice......never going back to Waba Grill, don't waste your money and time....... read more

Can't believe all the middle-of-the-road reviews. This place is really good. Can't believe the lazy person that gave them 3 stars cuz they had a problem getting off their ass to get their own food. You want delivery, order pizza and stay home. Had the steak-chicken plate and it was MORE than enough food. If you like to eat on the lighter side, get the bowl. My food was amazing and the container was PACKED. Has a little salad to start you off, and a cold orange half to finish with. Love this place! I ate there for dinner after a big workout last night and it seemed like the only place to go for a super healthy meal. They give you a large portion of meat and rice. It gives you lots of protein. I usually order no sauce because I don't prefer it, but they have many extra options to customize your order which is nice.The customer service is friendly and fast too. We were here the other day and ordered a steak salad and a plate. The salad was mostly chopped lettuce and a few tomatoes, it's terrible. They are very stingy on the dressing. The plate had a brown rice, they didn't even ask if I want brown or white rice. They put brown rice and it was so hard. My advice to this place is to put more effort. read more

This place is another grilled food place with rice and teriyaki sauce. Better than one other similar chain but not close to Top Grill. The sauce is similar to A1 steak sauce and the meat is chopped into small pieces. Taste and quantity is ok but not satisfying. Salad was decent but the fruit slice of orange was dry. read more

The costumer service here is terrible. My family and I decided to go for dinner. We order our food, get our drinks and sit down. The tables were so wobbly. I get up to get my sauce and I apparently moved the wobbly table just a little bit. Next thing I know, my ice cold water ends up in my lap and my food lands on the table! We go up to tell the people who were working and they could honestly care less! I had always hoped to find a place that did not 'add' sauces, etc to their meal. WaBa Grill gives you the option to leave off their sauce. I try and avoid sauces-personal preference. My husband likes white rice and I like vegetables with my entree. This place offers both. I love the veggie bowls. (Salmon with veggies is fantastic!!!) The restaurant is clean and inviting. I like Waba Grill because they're a relatively quick way to get reasonably healthy food. As fast food goes, it's a good bet. But I am impressed with this particular location because the owners care about the customers. Much of what is the Waba experience is provided by the franchise and should be expected regardless of which Waba restaurant you visit. What makes the difference here is the ownership. This restaurant appears busy regardless of how many customers they're serving. There is almost constant attention to cleanliness while still providing just the right amount of attentiveness to their customers. You feel like they truly care about the customer. The restaurant itself has a more inviting feel than others I've seen thanks to a more casual decor. All in all, you can't go wrong if you're in the mood for good, fast food that won't make you feel like you're just another faceless customer. I'll be back! read more

Service is unacceptable, the cashier (Christian) did not acknowledge us in the 3 minutes we were waiting for him to take our order. He was too busy fiddling with the register counting of what seemed to be the same change over and over. While he was taking my order he had a disinterested attitude. When I went to get some sauces, I noticed while I was there near the register that an order was ready. I had a feeling that it was mine but wasn't sure. I waited patiently with my wife for my order and after two men asked, paid and received their order (theirs was not the order that I noticed was ready) was when I looked over to the man at the register to see if my order was ready. I kept talking with my wife then was told my order was ready. The food itself was not worth the money we paid. Chicken was chewy and there was barely an ounce of the side salad. My fiancé and I have been here a few times for weeknight dinner or weekend lunch and generally have an okay experience and enjoy the food. The food is good but simple, I often think it is something I could make myself if I tried. Tonight (a Saturday night) was a different experience I hope I can share with management for considerations for improvement and help other customers. I called in our order for the first time. When the employee answered the phone, she was still having a social conversation with someone else and laughing. I waited and thought that maybe I got the wrong number. The employee eventually addressed me by saying "hello?" with no acknowledgement that I had called WaBa so I was still a little unsure if I had the correct number or not so I asked if this was WaBa and if I could place an order. I placed my order and was given a 10 minute estimate pick up time which was fine. Upon arrival to the parking lot I soon realized there was NO parking. I drove around the lot that is shared with BJs and other small businesses for about 10 minutes with no luck. This was especially frustrating because this WaBa location has several parking spots that are marked with signs indicating they are for WaBa customers only and others will be towed. These spots were all taken and the WaBa grill was empty, so obviously the people who parked there were not WaBa customers. I eventually got a spot and while I was paying for my order I expressed my frustration about all the designated WaBa spots being taken while there weren't any customers at WaBa. The employee responded that it is a problem every weekend but they don't really tow anyone and that she would share this with her manager. If I hadn't already placed my order and was ready for dinner, I would have given up on that parking nightmare and got dinner somewhere else. So my main issues are: employees need more professional phone skills, and either tow people who use the designated WaBa parking but don't go to WaBa, or get rid of the signs if you aren't going to enforce the parking. read more
