Not only that, the staff didn't know the menu at all and when I asked for a simple substitution it was like I was speaking another language. Then my food came out wrong. This was my first time at WaBa Grill and it was fine. It's that simple. I got the steak bowl with miso soup. The soup was pretty good and the bowl was just alright. They try and advertise that it's so healthy but with portion sizes being so big, you end up getting an 800 calorie bowl, which isn't bad, just stating. I think this must just be an overrated place. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. I ordered online and PAID over $30 and received a message that my order was complete. I went to pick up my order and they said they didn't receive it, I double checked the address and made sure I was at the correct store and even showed the girl working and she was so rude and told me to just order again in store and call the manager for a refund on my online order.. which is stupid as fuck. But I did. So paid over $60 for 3 bowls. Called the manager for a refund and no one answered. I've tried calling multiple times and even emailed the executive office and never got any reply. Fuck this store and chain! I have and will continue to share my experience because I've tried multiple times to reach out and fix the problem and they've proven to give less than a shit so please don't waste your time on this chain. read more

The food here is great! I love the steak veggie bowl and their sauces are delicious. Two stars because the service is absolutely ridiculous. I have honestly never experienced ruder employees in my life. I online ordered $37 worth of food and added one fountain drink with my order. When they gave me my food I said I also had a drink because they didn't include a cup with the order. They told me they would have to look up my order which was totally fine, but the spent about 5 minutes trying to look at the order when I finally just pulled up my confirmation email. I showed them it and the young guy grabbed my phone, mumbled something, and THREW the cup on the counter. It was outrageous that an employee would make that big of a deal over a $2 drink. It's definitely fast food. Service was prompt and the employees were friendly and helpful. We arrived right after the lunch crowd, so we were in and out quick. Prices are reasonable and food was hot, but a little bland. Overall it was clean but the drink and condiment station is a little cramped for space and the lids are very close to the soda machine, so the whole stack was covered in soda drips after the lunch rush. There is probably a better place to set the lids than that, but not the end of the world. Had the veggie and shrimp bowl with brown rice. You can also eat inside or out. read more

I love this WaBa location, it's handy for me! Tony is amazing; very personable & helpful. I love the selection of dishes & I am on a special diet & have allergies...they are very accommodating & the staff have never made me feel like I'm being a pain in the neck! The rice & meats have always been cooked perfectly. & thank you for getting the dogs out of the restaurant! I was at another establishment a few weeks ago, & a lady had a little dog in her arms & where she was standing, the dog was literally 5" from my food!! How gross! I know the laws...& it doesn't give you the right to infringe on others space in a restaurant. WaBa has outside seating, take advantage of it! Thank you guys...you're awesome! Have been going here about once a month since they opened. Food and service has been great up till last night. I went in right around 8 pm and they were finishing up a large takeout order. I placed my order and it came back way faster than usual. I should have checked it then but I didn't look till I got home. The chicken and the beef were both stringy and overcooked and the whole thing was dripping in sauce. I was able to pick out a little but most of it was inedible. Pretty tasty. I had the WABA plate, it had rib eye, chicken, salad (excellent Sauce!) and half an orange. I would have preferred extra chicken instead of rice. It tastes like really good teriyaki chicken. We all enjoyed it. It doesn't leave you stuffed. read more

I don't know what it is about this location, but the staff is so rude every time I go in. I love Waba so I keep going back and giving them another chance but it's getting old. I go out of my way to smile, ask how their day is going, and make it a positive interaction each time but the cashiers always have an attitude and act like you're inconveniencing them by being there. When I was there yesterday I stood there for a minute without being acknowledged and then the girl finally walked up and nodded her head at me as a nonverbal way of asking me what I wanted to order. This was my first time here. I got a Salmon plate with brown rice. It came with a side of kale salad and fruit. I am on a diet and this seems to perfectly fit in my plan. I can get a great healthy, tasty meal without messing up my diet plan. Salmon tasted really good. Kale salad and fruit completed my meal. People were really helpful and friendly.
