Our server, Brooke, was unbelievably unprofessional. She did not smile once, I asked for cream for my coffee and she threw the creamers on the table, and overall her ability to interact with customers is absolutely atrocious. If you live off tips, be a nicer individual to paying customers. Also, she practically announced to the entire facility that she was going to hit her vape. Otherwise, every other server in this facility was nice and polite. read more

This location is top notch busy when I stopped in. However, the service was exceptional there was six members that I seen working and everyone of them was coming with it. They was very attentive and friendly. It looked like everyone them was enjoying their job. The hospitality is A+++ and the service is super fast. Great service, awesome staff. They were very friendly, helpful and on their game. No GF/DF options which leaves hash browns and meat...the bacon was good quality, sausage decent but the hash browns had room for improvement quality wise. But since that's what I usually get everywhere I go, my bar may be a bit high. Again, the staff was great and seemed to all get along really well and were positive, seemingly happy, which is always good to see. It would be helpful if they closed the east facing shade thingys early in the morning :-) if you're a fan of Waffle House, I would imagine this would be one of the good ones fer sherrrrr. . read more

Listen, I love Waffle House just as much as the next person, but dang it, this is one of the better one's I've been to in regards to service for a while. We don't have them in Michigan, so it's a treat when I get to eat at one any time. I pulled off the expressway since I was kind of hungry and knew I wasn't going to make it much further without food. The place was just about empty, and I wasn't expecting it to be so quiet for a Friday Morning. I sat at the bar since it was just me, and my server, Taylor, was fabulous. I went with my two eggs over medium, hash browns with cheese and cinnamon raisin toast with apple butter. Taylor talked to me the entire meal about being a college student, work, life and a whole bunch of other stuff. She really made my visit enjoyable on top of the delicious food that I was eating. When we walked in the restaurant, there were numerous tables that still had dirty dishes on them. The bathroom was OK. We asked for crispy bacon and we didn't get that. They did replace it, but the food was just OK. The waffle and the chocolate milk were great. Our server Taylor was very nice. I wouldn't recommend it. read more

What do patrons look for in Waffle House locations? My opinion is speed of service, freshness and temperature, cleanliness and price. My stop was on a drive from Toledo to Columbus in early darkness. Had a craving for diner and there was Waffle House sitting on the opposite side of the street from the BGSU Stroh Center on a busy night. Gotta say the Waffle House server knew the menu front to back. She was helpful with coffee refills. The line cook busted butt and my food was out in a flash, hot. Now, the grits were scalding hot and I felt like I'd gotten some of the caked-on grits from the pot's sides. A little lumpy but hot, hot, hot. The eggs over easy with some chili? Outstanding. At the Bowling Green Waffle House on my way to Cincinnati. What a perfect place to stop for good ole greasy truck stop food. The service is really good the food comes quick and is good . So the hat trick of dining. I ordered the Texas bacon egg and cheese melt with hash browns perfect quick stop chow. I will say one thing the Four young people working in there were busting tail the whole time I was in there. It was great to see. Also got a Coke in a to go cup as I left. Will be back. read more

Bad food was an understatement. When we came in, we were very hungry and ready to eat. We all ordered waffles, hash browns, and bacon. To start, my pop was very flat and was absolutely disgusting. Then when we got out food, the waffles were cold, bacon was EXTREMELY salty and raw, and the hash browns were undercooked. On top of that, there were cooks in the back WITHOUT GLOVES ON. Stopped in on Christmas Day. Waffle House is one of those places that is open all the time. Waffle House get's a bad rap that it doesn't deserve. Considering it WAS Christmas day, everyone was outstandingly friendly. The place was filled with other folks who were traveling on Christmas who realized that there wasn't anyone else to stop. Who does not love Bowling Green's Awful Waffle House of Shame? It is what it is. The food is good the price is right and it captures that Midwest vibe about as perfectly as is possible. The Bowling Green WH can be best characterized by a fellow partier I once saw there. I was sitting at the Waffle House with some friends on Saturday morning/afternoon nursing away a hangover and this fellow partier whom just hours ago was being cheered on as he was performing a Nati Light keg stand maneuver came in, sauntered over to us and says "Hrm, funny how we're all wearing the exact same clothes we had on last night." The Waffle House is a special place. When I think of it, the first two images that come to my head are drunk people stumbling in around 3a.m., or hungry truckers looking for a delicious plate of grease. Either way nothing can compare to the Waffle House. Waffle House is a chain restaurant, so it is not as if the one here in Bowling Green is super special. However, it is a really easy, quick place to grab food 24 hours a day. In my opinion, the breakfast at Waffle House is what they are known for. Customers can choose from a wide variety of breakfast foods that will quench their indivdual needs. I have had the lunch/dinner options once, and it wasn't bad; I feel though that the breakfast is what stands out the most. Particuarly their hashbrowns. You can load them with chili, cheese, onions, etc. Perfect for those hungover cravings! The service is pretty good for the most part. Sometimes you will get the waitress who seems to hate her common existence, however, for the most part the staff is always friendly and they greet you as soon as you walk out the door and immediately say goodbye as you leave. The Waffle House in Bowling Green is a great option for the entire community. You can never go wrong with a little breakfast food in the very early hours of a Saturday or Sunday morning. read more

To the manager of this establishment, I am writing this letter to tell you about my poor service that occurred to me and my friends on the night of October 5 at your restaurant and was just wondering if you would be able to shine some light on why this happened. It was Saturday night around 11:30 pm and me and a couple of my friends decided that we wanted to get some food. It was late so we knew that not many restaurants were open but we wanted to go to a sit-down restaurant. We decided to go to our local Waffle House that was right down the road from us. We got to the restaurant and there was around 10-15 other people in the restaurant. We waited to be seated but there was no one that was coming to seat us so we decided to just grab one of the open booths and sit down. After looking at the menu for a while we still did not see a waitress for another ten minutes. Once the waitress came over we decided to order our food with our drinks because we did not know how fast the waiter would come back. After we ordered our food, we were just talking and waiting for our orders to be ready. The waiter comes back over and tells us that they do not have a cook right now and that we would have to wait 5-10 minutes until he would return. We said that ok and continued talking. After sitting there for about thirty minutes, we asked the waiter if the cook was back and he told us that he just returned and that our food would be to us soon. Upon arrival of our food, I looked at the sandwich that I received and it was burnt. I decided not to say anything because I was starving and just ate the food anyways. We finished our meals and paid and left the restaurant upset with the service that we had encountered. I am writing to you to see what happened that night and what you are going to do to make sure that it does not happen to anyone else. I would have liked for one of the servers to have given me a discount for the service that we encountered. Even just a little off would have given me a at least the knowledge that they knew the service was poor and that they were sorry for what happened. If you could reach back out to me that would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way with me because I truly do like the Waffle House and would like to return in the future. ive never heard of the waffle house but its a chain and mostly on the east coast. my friend and i decided to go here for breakfast. we were quickly greeted by practically all of the workers in the diner. its your typical diner, with counter seating and small booths on the side. you can see behind the counter where the cook whips everything up. our waitress was really nice. i ordered the buttermilk waffle and side of sausage. my friend ordered a waffle with pecans and blueberries and a side of over easy eggs. you can get a variety of toppings or combination of toppings in your waffle. the pecans gave it a lot of body and made it meaty but the blueberries made it so sweet like candy. my buttermilk waffle was good. it was heavier than my friends regular waffle. the sausages were two small sausage patties and the eggs cooked as ordered. it seems like a place that if i lived in BG that old timers would go to have breakfast or a cup of coffee every morning to chit chat. read more
