It's been awhile, and we were not disappointed! Lee was the greeter, and she was friendly and quickly showed us to a booth. Glenna was also friendly, and super helpful! Because of her recommendations we saved $2. We added that to her tip! I had the scrambled eggs, grits, and cinnamon toast. Everything was cooked perfectly - not overdone at all. Delicious! Husband had a waffle and chewy bacon. He ate every bite! Lee took suggestions for the jukebox. The upbeat, happy songs added to a casual, friendly vibe throughout. We need to visit more often! Great breakfast & terrific staff.

Shane was so hospitable from the time we walked in! Then hard working busing the tables to get people in! Glenna is awesome too! Always hospitable and accommodating! Love the cooks dancing and singing and we even got to sing Happy Birthday all together but we didn't know who we were singing to ‍ Mom enjoyed her visit!

This visit was our first in over 10 years, we took our two granddaughters for breakfast. I have to say it was terrific. The place was busy and very clean. We sat at the low counter with the kids which was really fun. I had a sausage, egg and cheese hash brown bowl. It was filling and delicious. My wife had the pecan waffle which was excellent. The girls had a shared mixture of a waffle, bacon, hash browns and a chocolate pie which was devoured within minutes. All of the employees moved around in their small space with precision and everyone knew their job. We will definitely be back with or without the grandkids.

The food was amazing, especially the waffle which was the fluffiest I've had yet from a Waffle House location. The service was phenomenal as always and the ambiance was something to remember with a clean 60s aesthetic and good music! Overall a definite 5 star experience all the way!

I love their customer service. They have to be the happiest group I ever met. Everyone is so welcoming and so happy which makes me in a good mood. Like who wouldn't want to be in a happy place? Their food is also yummy. I ordered the breakfast hash-brown bowl, I think it can feed two. I was only able to finish half. I also got a side of biscuit with gravy. I had two bites I was too full to keep eating lol.

I have never been a fan of places like Waffle House or Denny's or IHOP, etc but my boyfriend got me hooked on chocolate chip waffles from Waffle House and I get it every single time. And this has got to be the cleanest Waffle House we've ever been to with the friendliest staff and great service!

Some things never change. Eating at Waffle House is like a trip back to my childhood. This location is on Sunset Point Rd. just west of US19 in Clearwater. It's a new shiny location. We had a breakfast for dinner experience. We both ordered the Breakfast All-Star Special. It comes with two eggs, choice of meat (up-charge for the ham), grits or hash browns, toast and a waffle. (see pics) As anyone who has eaten here will tell you, Waffle House is an intimate eating experience. You feel like you're having breakfast in the kitchen. The eggs were good as were the sausage and ham. The waffles were OK. The star of the show was the hash browns. OMG! For a small up-charge, you can get a double order, which I did! We also got hash browns that were 'Smothered and Covered' (sautéed onions and melted cheese). Awesome! The wait staff was friendly and speedy. The restaurant was clean as a whistle. It is a basic diner like you remember from years ago. It's relatively inexpensive, too!

We love Waffle House breakfast. The waffles are nice and thin and crispy. The eggs always fluffy and the smothered and chunky hash browns are so yummy. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Glenna knows what you what even before you order. Always a good breakfast.

we originally went here soon after they opened and had an absolutely ridiculously bad time and left…read morea review for them. To be fair, we were told by the manager to call, give them another chance to make it right etc. However, we didn't call and only gave them a second chance this morning with friends. The reason I didn't call to "make it right" was I want the experience I have at a restaurant to be organic, and not get special or specialized treatment because we made a complaint. Now, on to our adventure today. We (a party of 4) arrived around 1020ish and were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant was pretty full, which was expected as it was a Sunday morning. The lady who seated us (not our waitress...tall with long dark hair) was very friendly, chatty, and funny. We appreciated her service. Our waitress was quite inattentive. We each got a cup of coffee, along with waters, iced tea, etc. Once we got our drinks and the orders were placed, we didn't see the waitress again until after the food was delivered (i.e., a very, very long time). The tall dark-haired lady finally came around and refilled our coffee/tea/water after they had all sat empty for 10+ minutes. The wait for the food was so, so, so long. We waited close to 45+ minutes for our food (nothing special, nothing fancy, straight up off the menu, no changes or alterations). This has not improved since the last time we were there and it is just baffling to me that it takes so long to get food out. The biscuits and gravy were enjoyed enjoyed, however 2 of the 4 biscuits were so hard she could not cut them with the fork, and with very very great difficulty with the knife. The tops of the biscuits were soft and pillowy but the bottom were pucks. This time the eggs seemed to have been cooked properly My husband was not happy with the omelette he got, and they took that off the bill without us asking. She did mention that she could have another order put in for him but (and these are her words), "It would take about 15 hours for you to get your new plate of food." We declined a new order and thanked her for taking it off the check. I got a sandwich and it was fine, nothing special but also not awful. Our other friend got a full breakfast platter which he enjoyed. He said the pancakes were very fluffy. So, in this updated review, I have increased the stars for the food because it wasn't *as* awful as last time, but still problematic. The worst thing, which was an issue with our first visit, is the wait time for food. It is just too. dang. long. I look at a place like Lennys, where we would have been in, seated and eating by the time we got our first coffee refill (also much too long in a breakfast place.....just....have coffee ready??). We did note when we walked in there were only 3 servers for the dining room --- perhaps they were short staffed which is why we only saw our server 4 times --- once for drinks, once to take food orders, and once to check on food, and once to drop the check. It was the lady who seated us who had a great rapport with the table, who was cheerful and friendly who can take credit for the two stars in ambience. In the end, we gave them another shot. No one at the table was impressed. The kitchen is woefully slow. The service was inattentive. we will not be coming back.

When we walked in, we were quickly greeted. Place is still bright, clean and cheery. Interesting soundscapes type music piped in also. We were told we could sit anyplace as we entered. We did and sat at a booth with a very wobbly table. A moment or two later when Ginger took our order, she replied that "we were tryin' to fix that table yesterday but we didn't have a shim." M next time a word about not having us sit there would be a welcome gesture on their part rather than letting us move all our stuff to the next table. Anyway...coffee was kinda weak too. I usually don't bother with diner coffee as it's usually hit or miss. This stuff was the latter by far. Meanwhile we got the former with our food! Queen Bee chose a daily special: one egg, two pieces of French toast and two strips of bacon. I chose the country fried steak breakfast. Queen Bee's choice made her quite the happy camper. French toast she found quite delicious; well cooked rather than goopy or runny with a nice crisp to it. The egg was perfect over medium as asked. She even told Ginger what an over medium egg constitutes. Ginger replied "I gotcha honey" with a southern laugh. My breakfast meantime was quite lovely for the most part. Country fried steak was a standard Sysco truck frozen block of breaded, minced meat. It was properly cooked (as opposed to incinerated) and not greasy. The standout for this was/is the "country gravy." Country gravy oftentimes suffers from one of two problems... 1. Over salty from too much sausage and sausage grease. 2. Floury aftertaste because the cook can't make a proper béchamel. This stuff had neither problem and was one of the better country gravies I've had in recent memory if not ever. Meanwhile eggs were scrambled properly...not too loose, not too tight (more toward the latter than the former). The home fries were quite bland (no salt, no pepper or even a hint of paprika). I wonder if too many of the old folks living round here complained about 'em. Anyway, I added a shake of salt (gasp!) and some pepper. I chose rye toast as I usually do. When Ginger dropped off our chow I even asked if it was rye instead of whole wheat. She said yes with a smile, adding the only way she can tell 'em apart is by "looking for the seeds. Ya gotta be smarter than what ya work with." Finally, Ginger herself is a real hoot. She truly reminds me of a southern version of the NYC diner waitresses I remember from my younger years and decades in the Big Apple. Sassy, funny, and quite efficient, competent and knowledgeable. After we walked in, we weren't so sure about whether we'd return here ever again. However given the balance of today's experience, I'd say that when we find ourselves in the area and in need of a feed...Pete seems to have done well with this joint and I'd say his morning crew knows their stuff!

This time, my wife, youngest daughter & husband, youngest granddaughter, and myself, went to try Busy Bee. I had been there in the former restaurant years ago. We arrived, ample parking, and were seated right away. We perused the menu. So many choices. My wife chose the Open Roast Beef plate, daughter the Steak Hoagie, her husband and daughter the Grilled Chicken sandwich and I picked the 5-Alarm Burger. And of course, my test of any Greek restaurant is Spanakopita, so I ordered one as an appetizer to share. We also each got a cup of soup with meal, luncheon special. Three chose the Lemon Chicken and two chose the Orzo (?). After a short wait, the soups came, hot and smelled great. Mine was Lemon Chicken and it was creamy, smooth and delightful. I also tried the Orzo and it was very good but there's a reason the Lemon Chicken is always on the menu. A bit later our Spanakopita came. I divided it into 4 pieces to share but hubby and granddaughter passed. Their loss, more for me! It was perfect, just the right amount of fillo and filling. A+ Our meals came and were enjoyed by all. My wife really enjoyed her Roast Beef - it brought back memories of traveling with her Dad, his favorite meal. Steak and Chicken sandwiches were great. Now, my 5-Alarm Burger. I cut it in half, so I could hold in my hand. Big mistake. Very messy, 4 napkins. LOL! I was delicious, burger cooked perfectly, but maybe a 2-Alarm. I like more spice than most so they had hot sauce on the side. I finally gave up and ate it with a fork and knife. Oh and we also had Onion Rings to share. Great - hot crispy outside, real onion inside. Sadly I had to share them. Finally we divided two Baklava pieces, everyone tried and it was delicious. But we were full already, so the second piece was added to take home boxes for later. Excellent food and service, great atmosphere. Highly recommended. One note though, I got a glimpse of the Meat Loaf plate on the way out - Next Time!
