1st service is perfect and fast. They always ask you "everything ok ? " , and also food is amazing. We ordered breakfast (potate , eggs with cheddar,no bacon) and waffles with hot unsweet tea. It was amazing. Also we liked elder lady , she welcomes everyone at the entrance. She is so polite. You can easily find truck parking also

My husband and I are traveling for the holidays. The only places open to eat on Christmas were Waffle House and McDonalds. Skeptically, we decided to try Waffle House. They were packed, but our super friendly server, Tina, greeted us and took our order immediately. The food came out quickly and it was much better then either of us expected. We will eat here again!

Hash browns with onions and jalapeños were nice . Also took the grilled chicken sandwich .

Always love a good Waffle House. This one was clean with kind employees. The food was super tasty but there was just a lack of accuracy when it came to orders-- not just ours. These deficiencies were quickly and kindly corrected. I'd come back here again if in the area though! They also have a Touch Tunes jukebox!

After passing by countless signs advertising Waffle Houses along the major highways, we finally decided to make a pit stop to this one. On the outside, it doesn't look like much. Hell, it doesn't win any beauty awards on the inside either. But what it lacks in interior decorating, it makes up for in spades with their pancakes. It must be said that I don't actually like waffles. Given the choice, I would never order it from a menu of other options. But only a fool would step into a place specifically named after this pattered and grooved breakfast delight and not try it. I asked for the pecan waffle, the preparation of which wafted the most delicious smells over to our table. It was thin, crunchy, and packed with pecans that gave it the loveliest nutty flavor that hardly required any drizzles of syrup (but certainly wasn't hurt by it either!). The hash browns I ordered on the side were another surprise. Pressed hard against the grill top into a thin layer, these shredded potatoes were crispy on the outside with just enough tenderness on the inside. I also ordered a serving of grits on the side, which turned out to be mediocre - somewhat bland and lumpy, with a discomfiting sheen of oil on top. Still, the pecan waffle was outstanding, so much so that my mouth began to immediately salivate from the memory of it with each of the dozen or so signs that we passed afterwards. Service was sweet, pleasant, and efficient, and the prices were dirt cheap (at least, compared to what we're used to in New York City). Would definitely return again!

Nothing special about this place but they are quick and consistent. Service is always questionable and don't ask for a crispy waffle.

It was my brother in laws birthday and we surprised him by having his brother fly up here. I finally landed on the Lox Benny +avocado and espresso martini. The server was sweet, but he informed us it was his first day, and it definitely showed. It was a weekday lunch, so there were barely anyone dining in. I have worked in the biz, along with all of us, so we were patient. Over all he was sweet, and just needs to get in the swing of things. One of the eggs was not poached (overly cooked so wasn't watery), but over all it tasted amazing. I ordered a 2nd drink different from the first, and ooof, it was not good. The entire table wasn't impressed with their 2nd round either, we all tried something different. We had to return my sisters rum coffee completely. The strawberry drink tasted like complete syrup and was very thick. I felt bad and didn't want to return that one as well. I asked for them to water it down, It still wasn't great. I drank it anyway. Over all the server was nice/friendly and doing his best for his first day, we all enjoyed our time together, the food hit the spot and tasted excellent, but I wouldn't personally order the pre set cocktails they have on the menu. UPDATE: After reviewing my receipt, not only did they not take the drink we returned back off, BUT they have a credit card tax: 2.38$, a TN state tax 11.31, a TN County Tax: 3.68 and A Liquor tax: 15.00$ which totals 32.32$ JUST ON TAXES. I will attach my receipt. This place is a rip off.

My husband is the breakfast person in our marriage, so this was absolutely his kind of place. We ordered the famous pancakes with their Blue Mélange blueberry butter, along with scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a biscuit. First of all, these pancakes are THICK. Not "slightly fluffy" thick. These things have some HEIGHT to them. But somehow they were still soft and fluffy inside instead of being heavy or dry. The blueberry butter on top was such a good touch too. Sweet, creamy, a little fruity, and completely different from just throwing regular butter and syrup on a pancake. The rest of the breakfast was classic and hearty. The scrambled eggs were good, the bacon was crispy, and the biscuit was huge. This is definitely one of those places where you should come hungry because the portions are not playing with you. I also loved the personality of the restaurant. It doesn't feel polished or cookie-cutter at all. It has this funky, quirky, old-school Chattanooga character that makes eating there feel like part of the trip instead of just another breakfast stop. And coming from someone who is NOT usually running toward pancakes or breakfast food, I still had to keep reaching over to my husband's plate. The pancakes were easily the standout for me. Definitely worth trying at least once while you're in Chattanooga, especially if you're a breakfast person. Come hungry, order the pancakes, and DO NOT skip that blueberry butter.

We had a reservation and were seated quickly at a cute table for two. Unbeknownst to us, it was taco Tuesday, suggesting $3 tacos of various proteins. We ordered three as an appetizer and were amazed by how tasty they were. Don't skip the tofu- that was our surprise favorite. My wife ordered the pork belly and I, the enlightened bowl. The pork belly was incredible- the best we've ever had. Tender, soft, rich, and a generous portion. Plenty of leftovers there. My enlightened bowl felt extremely healthy and fresh. I felt like a horse in a pasture. I stole many bites of pork. I might suggest adding a protein besides the salmon crumbles (it comes with those, but think tuna packet texture). Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Farmacy and look forward to our next visit.

High Hopes, Flat Landing…read more I'd had this place bookmarked for ages, and when out-of-town friends came for brunch, I thought, "finally, my chance!" Lesson learned: scope it out solo before bringing guests. We all left underwhelmed, and honestly, I was disappointed. Let's start with the good: it's an adorable spot, the service was stellar, and the cocktails were genuinely great. But the food? A real miss for me. I'd consider giving it another shot -- just not with the same order, or at least with some specific requests in hand. We kicked things off with beignets, which, in hindsight, was a bold move in Tennessee. As NOLA regulars, we know our beignets, and these weren't even in the same ballpark as Café du Monde. Instead of that light, pillowy pull-apart texture, they came out dense and crispy -- more funnel cake than beignet. The breakfast mains were a visual triumph and a textural letdown. I tried all three dishes, and my fellow diners agreed across the board. The "Sunny" had great flavor on top, but the bread underneath turned to mush almost instantly -- we ended up scraping the toppings off and eating it like a salad. If you order this, ask for the bread toasted. The biscuits and gravy had real potential, but the candied bacon overwhelmed everything with sweetness -- it completely took over the dish and made it hard to finish. Dave's eggs were fine on their own, but the hash alongside them wasn't much to look at, and the flavor didn't redeem the presentation.

Steamed mussels? half of it arrived cold while the other half was tepid. This is not good since these need to be piping hot! and they were weirdly in a heavy marinara sauce that overruled any seafood flavor. Grilled octopus? very disappointing mainly since I have had great octopus and this did not come close. Also came tepid....not good! Did not taste good. Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. Now the shrimp was decent but the salad was not great and the dressing seemed like it was out of a bottle like Krafts. Did not taste good either. I did not finish any of these three terrible dishes. Score: Hotel 5 stars; Lounge bar 5 stars, Restaurant less than 1 stars. The latter weighed heavily in the final tally, I will visit again since it is indeed a nice lounge and bar but I will not order food.
