I came here with an elderly friend that was celebrating his 73rd birthday. Happy Birthday. Originally he wanted to go to Ihop on hwy 92 but the place had a 30-45 minutes wait. (This was Sunday. So every Biddy and Bop were out trying to catch a bite.) Next we went called J. Christopher's in downtown Woodstock and they said it would be a 45 minutes to an hour wait....this was 10:45 AM. So we went to plan "Z" which was Waffle House. I haven't been to a Waffle House in years. Back in the days when I didn't have two nickles to rub together. This was my haunt. I'd get the hash brown loaded with all the works....now if I eat that stuff I have to drink a whole bottle of Mylanta to stop the heartburn....ah isn't great getting old? We came in and immediately we were greeted by Rebecca-one of the friendliest waitresses I've ever met. She wasted no time in bringing out a couple mugs of hot coffee and gave us a few minutes to decide on what we wanted. I got the blueberry waffles $3.65...only because I had a Guinness beer brat dog at Race Trac this morning....I know. Talk about Mylanta....I might need Zantac also.... My blueberry waffles were good. It was nice and tender and had the perfect amount of blueberries. Not too much and not too little.... My friend got the Cheese egg special for $7.15. You get cheese eggs (cooked anyway that you want) along with raisin toast, grits and bacon (that bacon was good.....I broke off a few pieces when he wasn't looking...) The coffee were $1.85. All in all it was about $17 bucks and change for a nice hearty breakfast. You can't beat it. Our waitress Rebecca was a sweetheart. Not only did she get the food out to us in no time. She even turned down the music for my friend when he complained it was too loud....Kudos to her for all around great service! I had a great experience here. Next time when I have a hankering for bacon and eggs. I'll be coming back....

    Merry Christmas!!

This Waffle House is pretty new and seems to be very popular. It's right around the corner from Kelly high school and get busy during game nights. And if course you've gotta get the Waffle House Christmas mug!!

Brand new Waffle House!!!!!! It's about time they put a Waffle House on Canton Rd! This place overwhelmed right now, standing room only, but the staff is still very friendly and quick. This location will become my regular stop!

    Jaylin hooks it up everytime

I'm so glad this Waffle House was finally built there. They make good fast food, nice attentive waitresses and won't break the bank.

However, once I realized you could waitlist online, it was a game changer. We got: Biscuit with fried chicken smothered in gravy: The seasoning on the fried chicken is great, and the chicken itself is juicy and perfect. Pair that with their exceptional gravy and a hearty mouthful of biscuit and it's a done deal. It's a HUGE portion, so come hungry or share. Classic breakfast (forgot what it's called but eggs, protein, biscuit, grits): I got my eggs scrambled and these were probably the best scrambled eggs I've ever had outside of my own home. It was just the way I liked them--definitely scrambled, but juicy, flavorful, and soft. The grits were a crowd favorite on our table--super rich and creamy. Smoked ham was salty (as most smoked ham are) but incredible soft and nice to eat. I thought my favorite would be the biscuit (I'm a HUGE biscuit girl) but it actually wasn't as buttery as I thought. It wasn't bad, but I think I'll take the grits over it any day. I can't believe how delicious this place was. All the plates coming out looked amazing (the sweet breakfast items, wow!) and we are definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu. I'd say this is a 4.5 due to the biscuit falling a little flat (not literally because that thing was fluffy!) BUT service was also great so it's bumping up to a 5. We're so happy to find a go-to brunch spot in this area--definitely give it a try!

That being said, the fried chicken breast was tender and not overly salted. The biscuit was good but prefer the biscuits from places like Hardee's which are crispy outside and fluffy inside. The Power Bowl was okay, not great. I was disappointed as I expected something more than what it was. Coffee was quite good and self-serve bottomless cup. Maple Street biscuit is definitely worth a try, but not worth going out of your way if you already have a biscuit place you enjoy that is closer by.

Inside, This open concept breakfast/lunch spot has a spacious and rustic dining room. Belly on up to the counter and place your order then find a seat. I ordered Chix Waffles and my husband got the Sticky Maple. His sandwich was definitely sticky and "not memorable". My waffle was cooked to perfection but I didn't taste nor see any of the things the menu said would be in it (bacon & something else). The breading on the chicken was good but the chicken were like fingers, not tenders. They were dry. The real maple syrup is what makes this place run- it was delicious on my meal but it also drove up the price. At least no one asked a tip (not even the cash register by default!) so I shouldn't be surprised. I don't think we'll be back as it's far, the service was nonexistent (no "Welcome", "Hello", "What can I get for you", or "Do you have any questions "? Service wins me over every time, even if the food is a little less than knocking my socks off. Sadly, this place didn't deliver.

The service was unbelievably efficient -- every table was moving, food came out quickly, and the staff never looked overwhelmed despite the packed crowd. They were both incredibly sweet, warm, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the family atmosphere trickles down through the entire restaurant because everyone treats guests with kindness and care, rather than making you feel rushed. GREAT JOB MOM! In the evenings they light up and switch their sign to "Late Shift" and serve mostly pizza and wings. Since I was there at night, I got the 10 inch Carnivore pizza which had lots of chunks of meat on it. The sauce was good with a tang. And the crust was the thick variety but soft with a nice chew. The flavors were good and it was freshly cooked and I enjoyed it. The seating includes tables of various sizes including long large tables for a group. They also have both seating and a large covered patio that can be closed or opened depending on the weather.
