This Waffle House has been a fixture on Highway 29 near Exit 41 in Newnan for years, and I have spent countless mornings, afternoons and nights here over the years! As with all Waffle Houses, this one is system standard with a small variety of different seating set up where they have booths lining the front windows. Service is always top notch here, no matter time of day. The cooks are always just as engaged as the servers, and the servers are always, friendly and attentive! Food is always as expected...greasy and delicious! We all have our go-to's at the ole WH with mine being the Texas Cheesesteak Sandwich with smothered-covered well done hashbrowns...side that with the sweetest tea and you got yourself something special! We stopped in around 6:30am. The staff welcomed us warmly with smiles. We sat down and our server, a young man, came right over and greeted us again and took our drink orders. He brought our drinks and took our order. Our food was brought out promptly. Our orders were all correct and hot and fresh. Our experience was very good and we would definitely stop in again. Went here again with my niece. Had a guy who did excellent service. Food was cooked nicely and atmosphere was nice. I really still love the Waffle House. Is it going to perfect all the time? Probably not but the people and nostalgia make up for it. The food has always been excellent and my service has been top notch. read more

#68/2023 And above average waffle House definitely improved over the last year and a half. I was hungry wanted breakfast I hadn't had a good experience few years prior but I decided why not. Came in I was greeted they were little busy but got to me quite quickly. I ordered a waffle with sausage patties and a double order of hash browns lightly scattered one of my regulars. Quality the waffle is excellent sausage was very good and the hash browns were perfect. There's no need for a long review it's a waffle House most people have read reviews I know what it is there's no sense of elaborating bathroom was very clean this is one of the ones that has a paper towel dispenser along with the hand dryer not too many have them. Store itself is clean for the most part they kept on wiping tables down to stay we're finished which is a good sign some places don't. Definitely when I'm down delivering the Petco I will definitely come back here if I want some breakfast or even a dinner and not think twice about it great improvement. read more

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat. No body acknowledged us as we came in or came over to take our order. It was slow only 2 tables had people at them. After 10 min we decided to go somewhere else. Worst Waffle House I've gone to. read more

To start off the food was cold, they missed half of our order and have 7 works and they are the slowest. There is food sitting on the tables everywhere, and keep playing around. They also didn't even melt the cheese on the food right. Needs to improve. read more

Waffle House is something that if you know about this establishment and the food and environment you understand it should just be what it is and never change! All that said, I found the epitome of what Waffle House is tonight in this location! Everything was as it should be! Went to Waffle House for a late night dinner on CHRISTMAS and was pretty disappointed. We asked the server for two chocolate chip waffles, bacon, and a few other items off the menu. We received FOUR chocolate chip waffles when I asked for two. We also asked for a plain waffle that was given to us soggy... twice. It also took forever for us to receive our food, there were plenty of workers on the floor that were doing more talking than working. I know Waffle House is not a five star restaurant but the kind of service we received on a holiday was beyond pitiful. I will not be returning to this location. read more

We figured that since there's over 5 Waffle Houses around Georgia, we should give it a whorl. They seem to be pretty popular! So we stopped by one to check out what the deal is about this place. The ambiance of the place has that 60's 70's feel, i actually like it! They even have an old juke box on the side that might still work! Haven't gotten the chance to try it out, but i'm sure it works haha.. they're recently celebrating their 50 years of opening! O_O for a restaurant being opened for that long, that's pretty good! then again, this is a chain restaurant (in georgia) The people working there are really nice, attentive.. their food is CHEAP! like you can get most of their meals for under $6! not too shabby, but then again, it's probably because it's georgia lol.. they make everything to order, you will get your orders quick! provide options for sides if you don't like a certain thing, they are willing to allow you to substitute. My meal was pretty good, it was hot right out of the stove, crispy hashbrowns (just the way i like it!) not too greasy turkey sausage, fresh OJ, so far so good! i would definitely come back here when i go back in 22 days! :) read more

This is a good waffle house that is clean and the food is decent. The waitress we had was very attentive, helpful and friendly, and the bathrooms were the cleanest I have seen at a public establishment in years. So you probably saying if all that was good, why not 5 stars?? Because the roof was leaking and water was dripping on the floor making a puddle and no thought to catch it with a bucket.....Feel me now?? read more

Really poor service. I called in my order, she said 10 minutes. I gave it about 30 minutes just to be sure, but she called my order in when I arrived. Well I waited patiently anyway, received my food , got home realized my whole order was wrong. I would've gave them a zero if I could. read more

Nothing has changed from the earlier reviews. My wife and I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty slow. Half of the tables had dirty plates and unfinished food piled on them, the floor looked nasty and no one acknowledged us after being in there for almost 10 minutes. There were flies literally buzzing around the kitchen also. Two waitresses sat by themselves counting their tips and looked directly at us before continuing what they were doing. Waffle House was my preferred breakfast spot over Denny and IHOP, so I probably will give another restaurant a shot but we left and went to the Huddle House across the street. Been to this location 3 times. Very Poorly managed, wait staff extremely inattentive. To obtain a coffee refill you have to flag down the server. Two visits eggs undercooked. Ordered over medium and egg whites runny. Now I drive 8 miles further to the La Grange location and receive the service expected. Will not be back read more

My boyfriend and I stumbled in here after attending a crazy wedding. I figured I couldn't give him (an unhealthy food lover) a tour of GA without a trip to Waffle House right?! All Waffle Houses look the same. They are small, retro-looking, greasy and very un-classy. I always called it a truck driver stop. You have to come in here expecting it to be ridiculous. It might help if it's the middle of the night and you're a few drinks too. Boyfriend seemed absolutely crazy for his steak and eggs in the middle of the night. Our waitress was very nice and had them custom make a vegetarian omelette for me. As you can guess, they don't have much in the way of vegetarian options because its...Georgia. My entree was alright...nothing downright offensive about it but its...greasy diner food! It's pretty much what I expected here. Our waitress was super patient with us as we were being pretty silly. She knew right away we were tourists. I would give this 2 stars for the atmosphere and food- there's something (everything?) pretty tacky about this place- but I'm bumping it up to 3 because of the excellent service and because my dislike is probably mostly due to the fact it's just so not my style.
