This location was clean, we sat down right away and our server was amazing! Super fun personality and made sure we were well taken care of. I hadn't had Waffle House in years, and I don't remember it being so good! I got the Texas toast breakfast sandwich, a waffle, and grits and everything was hot, fresh, and tasty. I love Waffle House and this location never disappoints. I am so glad they brought back the blueberry nougat for the waffles because I was devastated they were gone. The eggs are always perfectly cheesy. Everything is so yummy you can't go wrong with whatever you order. We typically place our order online and it takes no time at all. We arrived to the restaurant at 6:30 in the evening. There was only one customer sitting at a table at the time. Beth nor the cook ever greeted us! We sat there for at least 10-15 minutes before making the decision to leave. Not once was our presence ever acknowledged. We frequent this location several times a month and have never had an experience like this. It was evident that both the cook and Beth felt overwhelmed by the task at hand, which I'm guessing was a too-go order. Based on my history of eating at this Waffle House at night, it may be wise to have a second server working with Beth. read more

We usually come to this Waffle House. Good food and good people are the norm. Ambiance - typical and fine. They just hired a new server named Whitney that really sets the tone. Her sense of urgency was very apparent and you never saw her standing still. She also went out of her way to make things great. Even for a very short while. Hadn't been to a Waffle House in a while, when we stopped in today, we very pleased with the service and the food. The first thing that I noticed when I walked in was how clean the facility was. It was during a slow period, and both the waitress and cook were busy cleaning. Peggy, the waitress immediately came to the table, greeted us and took our drink order. Our interaction with her was top notch, she was efficient, courteous and friendly. I ordered sunny side eggs, and Will, the cook,did a superb job with the eggs as well as the rest of the meal. This is probably the best Waffle House I've ever been too. We got there around midnight on a Saturday and it was fairly busy. The patrons consisted of a mix of high schoolers and older folks, all ages and races. The restaurant seemed clean and lacked the sketchy feeling many WHs unfortunately tend to have about them. There were three people working: a waitress who was taking orders and greeting folks, a younger guy who was running the register and helping in the kitchen, and the cook, who was KILLING it back there! I watched her while we ate. We took an open seat that was ready to go and were greeted by the server, a warm, friendly young woman who was all smiles and ready to help. We ordered our food and while we waited I watched the magic happen in the kitchen. And seriously, it was like magic indeed. The cook, another young woman, was doing it all, and doing it well! She handled the waffles, the eggs, the meats, efficiently moving from one thing to the next and keeping all the orders going. It took a little longer to get our food than I am used to but I was not upset in the least - it was easy to see she was busting her butt and I am sure that keeping up that pace for any length of time is exhausting, not to mention trying to keep track of where it all goes. And yet, her attitude was pleasant. They seemed to have a well-oiled system. The irony of me saying making that latter comment is that that they forgot to add the jalapeños to my hash browns, but as noted before, there was a lot going on. However, there was no hesitation in fixing my order whatsoever and in a flash the waitress was putting in a new order and had nixed the charge for the incorrect order. She never seemed frustrated about it, either. The food was hot and fresh and delicious. It totally hit the spot after a day of hanging with friends and too much wine. Between the cleanliness, the staff, the food and the non-sketchy vibe, I was very pleased. This will more than likely be my regular WF joint from here on out! read more

This waffle house knows what it's doing. Soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a warm hello, and at that point you know you are where you need to be. I went with my usual texas toast sandwich with hashbrowns. This time i went with sausage in the sandwich instead of my usual bacon and I must say it is definitely worth it. The food was cooked perfectly and hit the spot on the dot. Nice crisp out of the hash and great crunch out of that texas toast. It'll make you want to stand up and do a bit of a jig. The best of all the waffle houses I've been to, and I've been to many. When I come here I always know what to expect. I always come here late night because I know that the girl that works the grill late night makes the best omelettes. I always order the same thing. The 3 egg cheesesteak omelette with onions (sometimes 4 egg depending on how I'm feeling that day)and it comes out perfect every single time. The eggs are so fluffy and the steak is tender, juicy and flavorful and the onions give me the little crunch I love and the cheese just brings it all together. I rotate my sides out sometimes I'll get the hash browns or I'll switch it up and get grits. The late night crew are great. Very friendly, courteous, and always checking on us. BLACK FLIES MATTER!!! There are flies everywhere in this place. Don't come here unless you want to share your scattered smothered & covered with the flies. (Although judging by the conditions here, the flies might be the secret ingredient) So the first booth we're sat in has 4 flies hanging out on the wall behind my wife's head, not sure if that's a comment on the way she smells or not, but...there's another fly on a suicide mission to get as much food as he can from our plates. Looking back though, he could've been a distraction so the other 4 could attack. I call the manager over and explain that I'm not happy sharing with the lord of the flies and "Scooter" proceeds to explain that it's just the time of year for them to have flies, now I'm looking forward to cockroach season here, mark your calendars. So we're moved to another booth and forgotten about by all the servers, up to and including getting all of our order and drink refills..., with 1 exception, the flies. Friendly service from right when we walked in the door. The place was packed still at 10 AM on a Thursday. The restaurant seems pretty clean at first glance too. I ordered a waffle (how can you not?) and my husband got the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit with a side of hash browns. His food came out first and I had to wait maybe another 5 minutes or so. Not a big deal. The waffle was crispy and tasty aka perfect. I could eat this every day if I could! On the weekends though, this place is CRAZY busy. You may want to go to another location if you are really hungry and don't want to wait. But I think if it's that busy on the weekends, they must be doing something right! read more

I usually order the same thing at any WH I may be visiting: cheese-n-eggs, scattered, smothered, and covered (the hashbrown configuration may vary), bacon, raisin toast, and sometimes, grits. This is my WH standard fare. I like my eggs not cooked hard with the cheese melty, my bacon crispy, and everything hot. Had brunch with my niece and she loves hash browns. Waffle House is the place to go. We were greeted as we entered and although they were busy it only took a few minutes to be seated. As quick as a booth is vacated, it's cleaned. Been was our server and she was terrific. My niece got the hash browns "smothered, covered, chunked and diced"! Translation: hash browns with sauteed onions, melted cheese, hickory smoked ham and grilled tomatoes. It was quite a filling breakfast. I chose from the lunch menu. Texas Bacon Cheesesteak Melt. It was delicious. Our beverage choice was Alice's Sweet Tea. Our server was quick with the refills. It was a really pleasant dining experience at a low cost. (PS the Pecan Waffles are amazing).
