Never walked out of a Waffle House until today, and I wasn't the only one! More like the Awful House!! Got seated a the low counter, waited 5 minutes and the waitresscame by and dropped of a napkin and a fork & Spoon... didn't ask what I wanted to drink, just walked away... then I saw two people to my right that shook their head and got up and left, also in her section! So I waited and in the section next to me still in the lower counters I saw a couple get seated and within 2 minutes had their drinks and order taken! So I asked whose section was I in and a young lady said I think hers... and My waitress said ' I have people here, there and there, just have to wait... which I've been waiting 10 minutes already!! I said, let me Make it easy for you... you have one less now! And got up and left!!! Will not be back ther anytime soon!!! read more

Always busy for breakfast but attentive staff always gets the us seated and taken care of. Good and consistent food. We have always had great, friendly and funny service. They seem to have a group of regulars already and it makes the place feel like a small town diner. read more

First time i came there was a lady serving us and she was so slow and had such a bad attitude. we ordered our drinks first and then our food then we only got our food and we had to wait for another server to come in and ask him for our drinks. then the past night i went it was 1 am and we walked in and all the booths were closed and the server with two ponytails told us it was only to go orders. even tho i've been at that same and another server was working and they sat us . these employees make up there own rules on how they feel and always make u feel like an inconvenience. worst service! they need to hire people they can trust read more

Story time !!! On Saturday April 21 around midnight. My Boyfriend, his friend, and I was going to this new Waffle House in Sachse. We all sat down at a booth where the server just wiped the table. The server came up to us & He asked if we are ready to order... I'm over here Like how can we order if we just sat down & didn't even have a menu on our table. He grabbed gave us our menu and left us alone for a bit to order. Then There was two more people coming in and decided to sit the booth behind us. My BF friend left to use the bathroom for a good 10-15 min. In between that time my BF & I decided to go ahead and order. My BF got the patty melt with a side of hash brown topped with chili & cheese & chocolate milk. I got a cheese burger with a side of regular hash brown and Coke. I asked him what's inside the cheese burger because normally I don't like pickles. He didn't even know what's inside a cheeseburger... On top of that he asked another server how to write orders on a notepad... Afterward,He took the other booth behind us their order. I notice the cooks was literally standing there with their phones out like are you kidding me? My BF and I just ordered... Then, my BF friend came back and was ready to order. He got one of the cook to take his order since our server was just running everywhere and no one was doing anything. The one cook begin to cook my BF friend meal first. Finally, everyone was working. What agitated me was my BF and I didn't get our food first since we ordered before ANYONE. My BF friend got his food first and the booth behind us got there's second. It was ridiculous because we didn't even get our beverage out or anything ! When our server finally came over to our table My BF demand to have our drinks. He bright out chocolate milk and coffee... I didn't order coffee, I ordered Coke. So he took it back & brought my correct drink out. When the food came out it was completely unbelievable. After all the wait, we got absolutely nothing from what we have ordered. I got a regular hash brown and a patty melt . My BF got patty melt & hash brown with gravy on top .... Like that was just ridiculous We all walked out and never have I received such a horrible server. I'm not a mean person. I'm pretty nice about people making mistake, but having me wait for my meal that I ordered from the beginning and didn't receive anything til the end was beyond horrible. read more

Elderly patrons beware! This is a place that is not only insensitive but down right abusive to the elderly. Here's our story. We took my 86 year-old mother there after her doctor's appointment to check her status after a recent fall. She was obviously very frail to all observers. She has new hearing aids and her audiologist warned that her hearing would be overly sensitive during the adjustment period. While we were there the restaurant started playing music at a decibel level that was painful so we politely asked that the music be turned down as it was painful to her. Nothing happened. So we asked again and explained the hearing aid situation. They turned the music down until the end of the song and then with the next selection it went back to painful. I said to my brother across the table from me "They've turned it up again" however it was too loud for him to hear me and he said "What?" so I repeated myself and again he asked "What?" I raised my voice so he could hear and finally a manager can to see why I was shouting and to chastise me for raising my voice. We told him that my mother was in pain from the music so he looked at her and asked if she needed something. She said she wanted to speak to his manager. He said he was the manager. She asked for his supervisor which we learned was the district manager. She asked for his name and contact information. He never brought it to her so we left but as I was paying our bill he told me that he could not find the information for his district manager, not even his name, but go to wafflehouse.com to offer feedback. So this manager was uncaring about the pain my mother was experiencing even though he had the capacity to simply adjust the volume and relieve her pain. Then he was condescending and patronizing to her request to speak to his supervisor and thought a lie about not knowing who his supervisor was or how to contact him would be an appropriate response. read more

Cleanest WH I've ever visited. We were greeted immediately as we walked in. As soon as we sat down, our server approached us and acknowledged our presence. Food was served quickly and was delicious. All hands were on deck to provide faster quality service, including both managers on duty. Excellent service! read more

This place was super clean and the people were so friendly. The pecan waffle was so good and they just melt in your mouth and are hot and fresh off the waffle maker! They always kept the coffee coming and always greet us with a smile! We will definitely come back! read more

5 stars on the breakfast! It was delicious. I had the bacon, egg (fried hard) and cheese melt on raisin toast with a side of grits and hash browns. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. Look, I'm not here for the excellent customer service or ambience. That's just not Waffle House.... it's 5AM and I'm leaving the function faded and I want something to soak up the alcohol. The prices are cheap and the portions are huge. Definitely a bang for your buck. Also special shoutout to this WF location for having clean and fully stocked restrooms. I usually only leave good reviews but this was a disappointing experience. The guy who served us was very nice. He and the cook were the only two employees actually working. The rest (there were at least 6) were sitting around. One of the waitresses sat in the corner FaceTiming someone and another literally crunched on pistachios for a solid 40 minutes-it's all we could hear. This location is not clean at all! There were two waitresses & the cook & there was barely 10 customers but no clean tables & no one was concerned about the people waiting. 3 booths were taken & the rest had previous customers items still on the table & none of them were eager to clear a table for the waiting customer to sit. read more

The service is terrible, hash browns are over cooked, very disappointed with the food that was ordered was made wrong I will make sure my friends know not to come to this place ever! We came here for a bit to eat after my nieces graduation. There was nine of us and extremely upset with the service and food and embarrassed since I suggested this place. And on top of it all one of the guys working here ask to buy a cigarette off of us and one guy thought an English muffin was a dessert. So upset. read more

We were not only given the worst service ever but were asked to leave without being served. We arrived with several booths/tables available we sat down at one near the cook. She walked over and warned us that there was only one server and it could take a while. we said we understood and waited on the him, his name was Garrett. He came to our table and said he didn't know when he would get to use as he was having to wait on all the other tables first, even though we arrived there before several of the other tables. He was very rude to us and stated that we needed to leave after my girl friend asked for coffee and she asked why we hadn't been served before the other table that came in after us. he said y'all can leave I will not give you any service. my girl friend said why, what did we do? He said leave or I will call the police. We literally did nothing wrong and will never step foot in this waffle house again. I would love to chat with his manager Travis. He is running off good customers (we were a table of 5) who always tip well. It was embarrassing as we always eat at waffle house at her location in fort worth and have the best service. The food was good however our waitress (Jules) was very unprofessional and rude towards her fellow employees. I didn't come to eat to hear about how much you hate this job and listen to you be disrespectful towards the other waitress next to you. We went on 6/13/18. There was no ( welcome to Waffle House ) like at others. The table we decided to sit at needed wiped of so I asked the waitress with glasses and a red ponytail if she could wipe it off and I'll just say, if looks could kill I'd be dead. We sat and as soon as we picked up the menu to look at it she said " y'all know whatcha want?" I told her to give us a minute. She started to leave but I told her she could get our drinks. 1 of 3 drinks were ordered without ice so all 3 came without. My hash browns were ordered with onions,cheese and ham. She then sat at the other end of the counter not paying attention, the cook had to call her over to bring our order. My hashbrowns didn't have anything on them and when I explain that to her she took my whole plate to redo the hashbrowns so I sat while everyone else ate. After she delivered my plate she never returned to check on us. Some guy brought our ticket to us, seemed like a nice guy but then he when outside when some methhead looking friends that had been hanging out inside at the other end of the restaurant. Red ponytail girl asked if he was leaving and they displayed some rolling papers so lucky her, he was just stepping out to get high and be right back. read more
