This is one of the BEST restaurants in the Greater Salt Lake Area. We came in today for my birthday, which I expected to be a fairly low-key event... But the staff at the Draper Waffle Love really went out of their way to make it a special occasion. They even played a Happy Birthday mix for me on their speakers! They went above and beyond to be helpful, even going so far as to give us extra plates and napkins to use for the cake we brought. I seriously cannot give them enough stars for their care and consideration. They made me feel like a queen. The food was amazing too - every single person in our party was thrilled with their choices. My in-laws tried the breakfast sandwich, my brother-in-law had the avocado tartine, my sis-in-law had one waffle with two sets of toppings (half and half), my husband got the biscoff waffle, and I got the banana cream pie with added strawberries AND the chicken sandwich with added avocado. Our friends tried the Dulce de Liege and the chicken and waffles. Every single dish was cooked to perfection. That chicken is juicy, perfectly seasoned, andf fried just right. I would eat that sandwich again and again. My son knocked my banana cream pie waffle to the floor and the staff remade it in less than 5 minutes, and we had plenty of leftovers to take home because every portion is HUGE. Oh, and we got to try the seasonal pina colada and it was delicious! If you like waffles or fried chicken, this is THE PLACE TO GO. Do not hesitate. WARNING- You have to be very careful with Waffle Love. They can easily become an addiction. When they were just a truck it was not an problem as I would only see them occasionally. Now that they are brick and mortar they are far to accessible. I wouldn't mind if they could make a carb free waffle. It has become a problem. Great food by great people. read more

I ordered chicken and waffles with syrup on top, the guy taking my order looked at the lady and told her to put syrup on top. I waited patiently for 20 min and when my order was done they lady said sorry for not putting syrup on top and I asked why she didn't put it on top and she said she didn't know how so she gave me another side of syrup. I wish I could give this Waffle Love 10 stars! We came in for lunch for a friends birthday. The employees were 10/10 nice, helpful, friendly, professional and simply amazing. They went above and beyond normal employees. They are top notch!! I really can't say enough about how helpful they were. This is my new favorite place to eat ANYWHERE. I am such a big fan of the waffles here. However, every time I come I have a different experience. Often the food takes a long time when I'm the only one in the drive through. The prices are a bit over the top for a waffle, but I would still recommend trying it. The size of the waffle always varies greatly so the amount is always different. Best waffle I've ever had (that wasn't homemade). Cream is very creamy, dulce de leche was crazy delicious, but not too sweet, and the waffle was crispy and savory. Perfect flavor combos. The biscoff spread was the cherry on top, and the actual fruit (raspberries) were obviously fresh and great. Service was really nice and amazing, but it was only one person for a crowd of around 10, so it was understandably a little slow. Would recommend! read more

We read the great reviews, so gave it a try at the Draper location, and regretted it. The waffles at this Waffle Love were awful. There were 2 young (teens or early 20's) women manning the shop. The one who took our order did not get the order right and did not get the name for the order (a common 3-letter name) right, even after we spelled it for her. When the order came (with one out of 2 items incorrect), the waffles were crisp on the outside and completely raw/gummy on the inside. The toppings were cooked appropriately. The "croissant" waffles were made out of dough instead of batter. But, the "croissant" dough was not a laminated dough, which one would expect, since true croissants are made with laminated dough. There was nothing light, layered, or airy about them. As mentioned above, they were gummy and raw. There are much better options for the price. I would not recommend. read more

Sooo. Freaking. Delicious. I'm almost glad they are not in Georgia, where I live because I would be in big trouble.

The food deserves 5 stars. The day we were there they were out of chicken which eliminated several options for us. There was only one employee staffed who was managing the inside of the restaurant as well as the drive through. She maintained a friendly demeanor and was working as fast as she could. She told us it was regular practice for the owner to staff only one employee during slow hours. In spite of the good food I cannot support a restaurant who values bottom line over employee safety and moral. read more

Great chicken & waffles this morning, i mean it was excellent! My expectations were exceeded. Crisp juicy chicken breast pieces perfectly fried & very juicy. The waffle was also good but was overpowered by the great chicken. Their coffee is just some kind of home brew, nothing special if you take it black. My daughter had the breakfast platter with 2 eggs over a waffle with bacon, also great. Their version of avocado toast was just sliced avocado on top of a waffle with a bit of kosher salt, nothing special. Overall a solid breakfast experience on a busy Father's Day. read more

This place is the best! These waffles are to die for. The staff are super nice and the food is amazing. I usually get either The Sunshine or the Churro with a side of Creme. Their savory menu is great as well. The grilled cheese is amazing but the tomato bisque isn't the best I've had. Even with a decent tomato bisque, you add the grilled cheese and it's amazing! We had a delicious breakfast here. I had the breakfast Sammy, the bacon was super crispy and the egg cookies just right. My daughter had a red wonder. That cookie butter is no joke. The cream is freshly made berries great quality. My husband had a chicken and waffles. Woah, that was amazing chicken. Super hot (meaning straight from the fryer) and crispy yet incredibly moist.
