This place was great had good food and service and was just overall a good place I can't wait to come back again

We had the most delicious chicken at the Lehi location, this time we came to the Draper location and they wouldn't substitute the fried chicken for the grilled chicken, which was annoying, yet when we ordered the chicken sliders which comes with grilled chicken, it was DISGUSTING. We informed them and they were nice about it and willing to recook them, but they were still nasty. My best guess is the oil was rancid. The chicken also seemed over cooked. Maybe something was wrong with the batter? I'm not 100% sure, but it was gross. If I were the owner, I'd want to know so I could fix this issue. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would have been disappointed with the chicken especially when we know how delicious it's supposed to be. read more

Came here late one evening one of my classmates said it was the best waffle I would eat from a restaurant. He was right! I ordered the breakfast plate. Service was quick and professional. The workers had fried eggs sitting next to the grill on a dirty counter for an hour while we were eating in. The egg was covered with a dirty wash rag. I thought they were ones that would be thrown out but he took the rag off and served it. The chicken was then set next to the rag and served. Absolutely filthy and a health hazard. read more

Pros: Friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Con: Wait time is just so bad. Service wasn't great either. Let me explain the con: we have eaten here many times and each time the wait was at least twice as long as any other location of Waffle Love we've eaten at. This most recent time we placed an order online. 15 minutes after we placed the order we were told it was ready. We went in and they said it wasn't. 20 minutes after that we checked with them again and they said it will be ready and less than 10 minutes. As of now, we've waited an hour and our order is still not ready, which has given me plenty of time to write this review. We've seen a dozen of other orders come and go, even though it doesn't seem very busy at all. It's disappointing. We'll make sure to go to the other locations in the future. AMAZING WAFFLE HERE, Just a PERFECTLY CRAFTED DELIGHT!!! It's a NEW DAWN though, and COVID-19 has changed the game how we interact with restaurants. "How does the restaurant protect themselves and the people they serve?" now is the question on the minds of those people willing to risk going out. Yelp directions are spot on. Interestingly there are no signs on the entry way about "requiring masks" or any type of COVID-19 precautions. There's inside dining but no limited capacity signs. Patio seating is available too. There are signs on the floor for Social Distancing but don't appear to be 6 ft separation. 4 employees are working this morning (8/1/2020) we visit, 1 of them has his mask positioned to only protect us from his chin hair, his nose and mouth are fully exposed for all to see (not to say anything about his hair fully exposed as well). The other 3 show they care about the people they serve, and have masks properly worn (THANK YOU!). So COVID-19 concerns aside, as far as the food goes, these are LEGIT liege waffles! RED WONDER: Fresh strawberries and raspberries, topped with an ample amount of homemade whip cream and Biscoff spread. The tart fruits are complemented just right with the amount of whip cream and Biscoff spread. Quite the tasty treat and did not need syrup at all. Waffle was perfect! THE DULCE: This was my choice... OH MY GOOOSH! Ice cream for breakfast??? Sure! Why not!?! Good thing I did because this creation was ABSOLUTELY DELISH! Love their take on "deep fried" covering, as the corn flakes gave a nice crunchy texture without melting the ice cream. The dulce de leche caramel was not overwhelmingly sweet, just enough to complement the dish with a sweet touch. That waffle tho... it was straight Mary Poppins! Couldn't ask for a better waffle! Crispy exterior yet wonderfully flaky within and a wonderful taste with every bite. YUM! BREAKFAST SAMMY: This savory option is a different take on the waffle but that's how my oldest likes it. Not greasy at all, with sausage, scrambled egg and rosemary cheese. Good size, but devoured too quickly by the carnivore. He claimed it tasted good ;) NUTELLA LOVE: Nutella makes my munchkin VERY HAPPY, so of course he chooses this option. And this DID NOT disappoint! He chose strawberries to finalize its visual, and he could not wait to dig in to it! You could plainly see ABSOLUTE pleasure, as he devoured it! THE SUNSHINE: Wifey's choice, and she LOVED it! The Lemon Curd was spot on! Definitely had a sweetness that didn't overpower the lemon tanginess, and the perfect amount to coat the entire waffle and enjoy with every bite. Raspberries complemented this creation well, making this mmmm, mmmm good! These WaffleLove waffles DEFINITELY deserve 5 Stars, but the lack of adherence to COVID-19 precautions places apprehension on a full recommendation. How many stars do you take off for that? Take care of those you serve, PLEASE. Honor those protective measures, COVID-19 is real. You deserve all the business those incredible waffles create! read more

Something about this location gives me the feeling that they don't get as much support or attention as other stores do. It might be the time I placed an online order for a future pickup, and received an email confirmation, but they didn't receive it at the store. Or it might be that they don't have a Waffle Love stamp for the stamp cards. I'm not sure. Regardless, the Founder's Favorite I just got was the best I've had in a while. read more

So yummy! I came in shortly before they closed and they still served me quickly and politely. The food was fantastic! The produce on the waffles was fresh and delicious! Also well placed. They didn't just toss it on there to get the job done. They do encourage social distancing, but pretty much every staff member had their mask dropped to below their mouth, so basically not wearing one at all. If you're covid worried, this probably isn't a good place to eat out. I'm not worried covid worried, so they don't lose a star because of it. read more

Oh my goodness. This doesn't look like a grand place. But one day I wanted a waffle (I love them). I thought just a waffle with syrup. But no... I ordered the banana cream. WOW. It's the most amazing waffle I've ever had. It's not the biggest, but just the right amount. Stuffed with melted chocolate, surrounded by a whole thinly sliced banana lathered with whipped cream and topped with chocolate shavings. I have at least 1 or 2 a week. Even in the evening for a desert! You have got to try this place!!!!!!! read more

At an average of $10 per waffle there is not much to love about Waffle Love. Frozen drinks from the fridge, freezing cold restaurant with metal trays and table tops so immediate cold waffles. Cheap plastic utensils, S L O W service and no hot chocolate despite of being on the menu. read more

In love with the food here having been to the Fort Union location in Midvale. They have added quite a few new items on the menu. We ordered 7 items. The chicken n biscuits were fantastic. Their grilled waffle cheese sandwich was also good. They screwed up on our order and left out the dessert waffle. They didn't apologize and said I didn't even order it. What was funny is that I pointed to an outgoing dish for another customer that I wanted 'that one' and she said okay! So we waited thinking they were still making it and found out they didn't even put it on the order. I should have checked the receipt that was emailed to me. Kind of put me off to have lousy customer service. We will be back and will be more careful with the order since it was my fault. read more

3+ start almost 4. Do come here for waffles they are delish! My favorite is Nutella love with cinnamon waffle (strawberries) and that cream oh my! The staff are nice kids :) Now if u are craving a full breakfast then u gotta go somewhere else I wouldn't recommend any other item other than the waffle although to be fair I haven't try the fried chicken waffle and I have to say every time I go to this location there is at least 2 tables eating the fried chicken waffle so I guess I'll have to try that to give it a fair shot ;) read more

I am in love. Just had my first waffle love a few days ago and can't wait to go back. I have been wanting another one for days. I got the Nutella love with strawberries. I mean nutella and strawberries says it all. The waffle was crispy on the outside but fluffy and moist on the inside and had amazing flavor on its own but then add nutella and tons of fresh strawberries and real cream. Yes please. I love that they load it with fruit makes you feel a little less guilty for eating so much sugar. Terrible service. They were not busy but ignored us as we stood at the counter. We waited close to 10 minutes before another customer told us we had to use a screen to order. This is a great chain and I am glad they are doing so well. This location has a new savory menu. I had the grill cheese waffle with tomato bisque, really good. I also had my "go to" the Red Wonder. Probably the best one to try for first timers. This is one place I keep a punch card, because I know it will fill up eventually. Went to pick up my order after I got notification of "Your food is ready". Walked in, talked the female staff about my order, but she kept saying "There is no order under such name. We had Waffle Love delivered for breakfast last weekend because lazy day :). Wow was it good. The breakfast sandwiches on a Croissant waffle were hot and fresh. The waffle is amazing, flaky and stands up to the egg, bacon etc. We also had a Nutella waffle and a bananas foster waffle. The Liege waffles are again great, the fruit on them was fresh and tasted great. I do believe Waffle Love will defiantly be in regular rotation for either breakfast lunch or dinner. We ordered the red wonder waffle and it is divine!! It was soft and warm and had the perfect amount of whipped cream, berries and biscoff!! The place is clean and offers both outdoor and indoor seating. Definitely will be going back on my next Utah trip! read more

Been back to waffle quite a few time and definitely more than I care to admit. The meal that I alway seem to order is the chicken and waffle. The ambience is quite homey and there is art on the wall that describes how Waffle love came to existence. The food: the fried chicken is nice and crunchy each time I've ordered it. The chicken is still juicy on the outside but what sets waffle love apart from other chicken and waffle places is the waffle. The waffle is unique such that it seems to be a cross of a waffle and a croissant in how it taste. There seems to be layers when you cut the waffle and thus reminds me of what a croissant would look like but it would still be nice and pillowy. Eating chicken and waffles from waffle love always hits the spot. The syrup on the side balances the meal allowing one to enjoy the sweet and salty dish. read more

Been here twice, 1st time they told me it would be a 40 minute wait and they were out of the sweet waffles. 2nd time I was able to actually get my kids food and was given the savory croissant waffle instead of the sweet waffle. They didn't tell me they would be switching the waffles and when I asked about it she lied and said it wasn't the croissant waffle. I came here because my niece use to work here and I stained I try the gluten free waffles here.
