This is a great new dining option for Escalante, having just opened a week ago. We were staying at…read morethe adjacent Escalante Grand Resort and decided to check it out instead of driving into town for dinner. Super sweet folks working here who definitely care about the food they create and serve. They have full menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner with lots of yummy options. I had the daily special, which was pulled pork mac & cheese covered with crispy onions and a splash of BBQ sauce. Really tasty and filling. My wife enjoyed the loaded baked potato, filled with pulled pork, melted cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and sour cream. We also shared the beet salad, which included candies pecans and goat cheese. They have plenty of tables with a knockout view of the surrounding mountains. Definitely worth checking out before or after a day of adventuring in this great recreation area.

The menu is amazing and the owner is so nice. Plus, what a great name for a food truck !! It's just been opened for a week and is definitely going to be a hot spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ordered a baked potato with pulled pork, Cheddar and caramelized onions subbing the BBQ sauce for sour cream and butter. It was delicious! The baked potato was good sized and cooked perfectly and the pork was really tasty and moist. Shared the beet, goat cheese and candied pecan salad with hubs, and it was also tasty. Loaded with beets, goat cheese and pecans. Highly recommend stopping at this great new food truck.

We arrived about 6 and waited about 20 minutes for a very nice booth. We split a pretty good-sized house salad. It was fine. I had the trout with asparagus and sweet potato fries. Fish (lemon pepper and salt) was tasty and perfectly prepared. Asparagus was also perfectly cooked, still a bit of crunch. The fries were too limp but tasted good. My hubs ordered the ribeye. Looked so juicy and charred but was a bit tough. Flavor was great and it was a gigantic 16-oz. portion. Coffee was tasteless, unfortunately. The absolute highlight of the meal was the pie! The apple pie is the best I have ever eaten. The filling contained nice slices of apples, no mushy stuff here. And the crust was incredibly flaky with a bit of sugar baked on top. My husband ordered the cherry pie à la mode and was quite pleased with the pie and two little scoops of ice cream alongside. Nice staff too! This place is popular for a reason. It HAS to be that incredible pie.
