If you aren't paying attention when you first walk in their door to see their painted sign that says no credit cards, you'll be stuck going to their ATM or digging for cash to pay the bill. Ham Steak- I came here expecting amazing ham steak, but it was just average. It was just fine. What I wasn't expecting was an amazing 5'4, blonde haired woman to diddle past me, I immediately asked for her to be my server, but I got declined by a freakishly large woman, I was fuming from my ears, I know I was red, I was shaking with anger. I left that second without a lick on my ham steak, I was too out of my element to eat at that moment. I came the next day at 5 am, an hour early, may I add (thats not the point though), to make sure I was served by this goddess, I had a dream I was this goddesses servant, so I just had to come back the next day! (That's not the point though) 6 am hits and they opened the doors, I saw her standing there waiting to greet me, It was like I was frozen in time, she asked me "sir, are you okay?" Three of us lucked into a booth last Sunday morning at this hopping breakfast place. Buckwheat waffles were the star of the morning...definitely give them a try. A side order of hash browns was more than enough to split. The waitresses and waiters were constantly checking in on us, especially vigilant at keeping our coffee mugs topped off. A friendly and casual vibe overall, and a nice array of breakfast offerings. Corned beef (lauded in other reviews) was good...but I guess I am used to liking it as crisper (and did not ask for a custom effort). We did order the hash browns crisper, and they were lovely, so next time I will ask for a bit mote time on the grill. Bottom line, yes...do give this a whirl. You won't be disappointed. read more

I get it. I'm from Phoenix so I'm a little spoiled on the breakfast/brunch situation for selections available. Still, wanted some place new to take dad when I was in town. It was an 'ok' diner. The food was adequate but certainly nothing I'd write home about. My chorizo in my eggs was overcooked and slightly burned. The staff was friendly however and checked back on a regular basis to see if we needed anything. Still, $15 for a standard 2 egg breakast (incl. coffee) is a bit on the steep side considering I can get the same but bigger down in Phoenix with both coffee AND a large mimosa at Ohso Brewery in Phoenix. (I know I know, it's prescott). Oh - and one MAJOR drawback you're not told till after your finished eating - they do not take ANY plastic forms of payment. If you don't have cash or a check you're forced to pull out cash from a standby atm - which includes the typical $2.50 to $3.00 fee for the convenience (not including the fee your bank will charge you also). If you don't want a full credit card machine- at least think about getting something like "Square" that can connect to an ipad at the register for guest conveniences. read more

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for nearly two decades at least. Several generations of our family has eaten here. Waffles n' More was the last place my mother and my family ate breakfast before she died of cancer April of 2019. Today is her birthday and she would have been 68. My wife went in to put in her name and was chased out by Jaime the owner, screaming to call the governor, call a lawyer, and that apparently her medical exemption she had in her purse didn't mean anything. My son has been coming here for his entire life and was crying in the truck because my wife was publicly humiliated for her medical condition, so I decided to approach Jaime and I recorded her on video lying that there was a government mandate requiring us to wear masks. Restaurants are required to have employees not patrons wear masks. We simply wanted to ensure her continued business by supporting her in these tough times, but will no longer ever support her or her business ever again. Lastly, in all truth the food is mediocre at best. I never dare order the biscuits and gravy as they have been served cold any time they've been ordered in the last two decades. Don't be a spineless jellyfish. Don't allow these businesses to violate your rights because they are too ignorant to recognize their own. A couple of lawsuits should do the trick. read more

This place is always packed when I come for breakfast. They only accept cash so bring some unless you want to pay an atm fee on top of breakfast. The food is good. The service is fast and friendly. They really stay on top of everyone's coffee. There seems to be employees who's sole job is to make sure your coffee is full. If you take a single sip, someone is right there topping it off. My family and I have come here many times in the past and today was an absolute wreck. we came in around 10:15, and were told there was a 20 minute wait. About half an hour later, we were seated. 15 minutes go by and our server still has not shown up to greet us. Eventually she showed up, quickly took our orders, and then zipped away. As I drove closer, I saw something that made me smile and confirmed that I had made a good choice. OUTDOOR patio in front! Beautiful morning, outdoor patio, all I needed now was coffee. Melissa was my server and was very attentive to everyone seated on the outdoor patio. I ordered the #3. Two eggs scrambled, hash browns, bacon, wheat toast and endless coffee. Tapatio is available and for me a necessity. $7.95 for a good tasting breakfast is a steal! The downside is they only take cash or local checks. However, they do have an ATM inside. Came in here w/a group of friends who used to live in Prescott and I got the impression they came here pretty regularly. After trying it I can totally see why. It's kind of a diner-ish type place in a strip mall. I didn't even open the menu because they had a placard on the table listing breakfast specials, which everyone in my group got. I believe there's eight of them, and I got #8 which included 2 egg (had my scrambled), hash browns, and pancakes. Basically, all the specials include some sort of combination of eggs, breakfast meat, hash browns, pancakes/waffles or a muffin. They're all &7.49 and INCLUDE a beverage. Everything tasted great and service was friendly & efficient. It seems like this place can get crowded. I often judge breakfast spots by how often they come by for coffee refills and my mug was refilled often :) read more

This place is a total rip off!! I was charged $16.81 for 1 waffle, 2 re-heated bacon slices and 1 scrambled egg. I ordered blueberry waffle but the blueberries were placed on top of waffle, my first cup of coffee was cold and mt second was Luke warm. THEN I'm told that they don't accept cards just cash which they have conveniently placed an ATM machine by the exit door, that charges you $2.00 to use. I used my banks ATM which was near by instead. Then came back and paid. PEOPLE!! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT THIS DUMP!! Dennys breakfast is a whole lot better and cheaper. Nicer staff also. I left a penny tip. Very disappointing in there breakfast. I chose to have a breakfast burrito with no egg asked if they would put that egg on a separate plate. My husband said he would eat them. he took one look at them and said I'll pass! The burrito is very skimpy and Just room temperature. Our waitress was very nice, but the food was horrible. I will not be going back!!!!! OMG awesome! We have been here several times now and every single time the service has been excellent, staff is friendly and polite and the food is beyond compare. By far the absolute best breakfast burritos anywhere. The food is fresh, made to order and is extremely flavorful. Their salsa both the red and the green is superb. The hash browns which my husband and I like to order extra crispy are excellent as well. If you are looking for a great breakfast spot that provides great food, superb service and a well thought out social distancing environment this is it. Wear your mask until you are seated. Our party of five entered the restaurant and we were verbally attacked for not having face-masks on (three of the five did and two of us had them at the ready). The owner could have been nice but she was abrupt, rude, and her use of profanity was totally out of place. We left the restaurant immediately and will never be back. The service made me feel like I should leave right when I'm done, because on delivery of the food to our table, the check was also dropped off. I really enjoyed my breakfast this morning. I had the buckwheat waffles and they were awesome. I wasn't sure what to expect from buckwheat waffles when i ordered them. But they were light and fluffy with a crispy outer crust. They were perfect! The service was fast, friendly and attentive sevice continuous coffee refills. Been eating here occasionally since moving here in 2012. Not my favorite place to eat but it's close to several friends who live in the immediate area. Almost without exception the servers are cold, unfriendly and uncommunicative, WITH ONE MAJOR EXCEPTION, a woman with very close-cropped blonde hair whose name I unfortunately do not know. How she continues to work here, I have no idea. The "hostess" is a real b*tch, how SHE works here is a mystery. A few weeks ago she jumped all over my ass for trying to wait for my friends in the waiting area, which is usually for.........waiting, right? I didn't respond in kind, though I wanted to. Today I gave her my name and how many in our party and as she started to give me the heave-ho, I filled in the blank with "and please wait outside". She responded with "I see your bad attitude hasn't changed since you were here last". I responded with "yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh, right" and she had the nerve to mimic me. A few minutes later my friends arrived and I told them that I wanted to eat elsewhere. I walked back into the restaurant and told the hostess that my friends had arrived but that we were going to eat elsewhere. She actually followed me out the door, harassing me all the while! I took off my mask and told her that "it wasn't the mask, it was her bad attitude" that turned me off. Needless to say, I won't be eating there anymore. If there was any restaurant in Prescott that SHOULD have gone out of business, it SHOULD have been "Bad Attitudes 'n More". read more
