The reviews left me having to try this place for myself to make a decision and I'm not disappointed with the decision as it was a pleasant experience in both variety and flavor. The reviews sited over priced food that was subpar quality but I didn't agree with that assessment as we ordered a variety of different dishes to try and the only complaint was that the dish wasn't as spicy as indicated on the menu. The freshness, flavors and different textures were perfectly paired for a balanced bite equally spicy with a tolerably cool finish leaving you feeling full, satisfied and still not over stuffed. The ambiance was as expected in a busy shopping center, dim lighting, loud but not obnoxious and able to hear but not recommended if looking for intense conversation. The establishment was large with both open seating and some more private booths. The waitstaff was fairly quick and friendly though we did run into some issues with language barriers when asking questions, the staff made every effort to make us happy with our lunchtime meal. After attending the Boston Marathon race expo, my friends and I came here for lunch. It wasn't my choice since I'm just not a fan of Asian-fusion restaurants. I ordered the grilled duck ramen. It was actually not bad, but if it were up to me, I'd rather get a bowl of ramen from a Chinese or Japanese restaurant. When in Boston, how can I not visit Wagamama? This place was highly recommended by several food bloggers and it did not disappoint. My first time trying Wagamama and I am a fan. We made a reservation for a Monday afternoon and glad we did cos we saw several folks stopping by for a quick lunch between office hours and large groups as well on working day. We were seated promptly and the menu is simple. We ordered the following: 1. Yasai yaki soba: This was my FAV dish and was amazing. There was flavor in every bite and the noodles were very well quoted in the sauce. I did ask for these with chicken and also asked to make these extra spicy and they did justice to it. 2. Bang bang cauliflower: To our surprise this was one dish we dint expect would be great but wanted to try it out and we are so glad we did. I would highly recommend everyone trying this bang bang cauliflower dish. It is an appetizer so portions are pretty small but it delivers 10/10 on flavors. 3. Chicken Katsu Curry: Flavorful katsu curry with well cooked chicken. Flavors were phenomenal. Service was quick and staff was friendly. This place is HUGE so you can have large groups accommodated here. I am sure they are very busy on weekends. All in all highly recommend Wagamama and I am now a big fan! read more

It's conveniently located inside prudential center, and honestly the easy access right from the T stop was very nice on this rainy and cold day! They seemed busy but we were seated right away. I tray liked how this Asian fusion restaurant has many unique menu. There things that other places don't offer. But the service was slow. Our server did not come to our table for more than 5 minutes, which is under stable because the place was busy. But once we got our food she never came back to check on us, and we needed to waive at her to pay when we waited for a while and she never came by. My donburi was delicious. read more

The ramen noodles was perfectly cooked and the flavor was great. The grilled duck leg fall off the bones tender, juicy, and delicious. The only problem was the soup too salty I couldn't drink it at all. But I understand if the soup is not salty the noodles will be a bit blend. I heard the bao was delicious too. The super green Juice had too much sugar taste more like a sweet beverage than a green juice. If you want something healthy this juice will not be it. The location is very convenient, after shopping all day get a bowl of noodles it was perfect. My coworkers and I had a lovely lunch here, and it felt like the restaurant was busier than usual. I've seen Wagamama a few times in passing, and it never seemed this busy. However, service was great and our server was friendly. I ordered an overpriced bubble tea (not recommended for $8.5), and a katsu chicken curry (recommended). The potstickers we shared were okay. I went here for restaurant week with some friends and we had a great dinner for the price. The seating is several long tables, so expect to be close to strangers. Our waiter was very friendly but the delivery of food items was a bit odd (dessert then dinner then appetizers and drinks). I found the flavor of the fried chicken to be surface-level rather than permeating into the meat, but I liked the texture. The salmon was fairly plain, but the sauced broccoli and soba noodles made up for this. I thought the food was good but nothing stood out to me in particular. Definitely recommend for the restaurant week deal though. read more

Have eaten at Wagamama (both locations in Boston) several times in the past year and always loved the food. I am vegan and usually order their katsu curry which comes with panko-breaded vegetables and a super tasty mild, luscious sauce and tastes like comfort food. The last time I visited with family, I also ordered the mushroom baos and they were a hit. Service is quick but not very attentive - they forgot to bring an item a friend had ordered once and they don't provide regular drink refills unless asked. But the few menu items I have sampled have been reliably great and for that reason alone, I would rate this establishment five stars. read more

Hey I just went here pretty recently... honestly it was maybe even a few hours or days ago.... not totally sure as I've been having trouble with my memory ever since the estranged milk incident... anyway... vering off topic iamm sorryyy. I thought that it tasted really good to eat here, but my mom only let me have one bite (I am 19F) so I attached a photo of the one bite she let me have. It was tuna and I liked it a lot. Having eaten Katsu Chicken Curry on a trip to London in 2007, I was most excited to eat it again. Despite having the same name the curry was disgusting just overly sweet and under seasoned. I don't know how much the corporation has changed or if the recipes were adapted for the US locations but don't waste your time if you've had real curry. read more

I used to travel to London fairly often for work and fell in love with Wagamama. This was my first time at a US location. Same concept, same yummy food...except NO duck gyoza on the menu. Please, someone, anyone, bring the duck gyoza to the US!! It's one of my favorite dishes. Everything we ordered was tasty. I tried the banh mi which was new to me and it was good. Best place to get food in Prudential tower in Boston! We came here after attempting to go to La Pizza & La Pasta (inside Eataly), just a short walk away. We were welcomed to the restaurant by the manager, Francesca and sat down in a cozy corner of the restaurant. The ambiance was lovely and inviting. Our server, Mariana, did everything possible to make us comfortable and answer our questions. We ordered mint tea (which came in a pot with actual mint leaves) and an appetizer to start (vegan cauliflower). Both were delicious! My main course - tofu salad was equally tasty - cleaned my plate! For dessert, I got matcha cheesecake and it was yummy as well. On top of that, the restaurant bill didn't break the bank. The pros were that they had a lot of healthy options (we tried 2 of their juices which were quite good), however the food left something to be desired. We got the wagamama salad which had a good variety of veggies but we could barely taste the dressing since it was very sparsely drizzled on. The best dish was the udon chicken, which was well-flavored and had good texture with the noodles. The steak bulgogi teppenyaki fell flat for me, really just kind of meh. All in all, it's a decent spot for grabbing a meal in the Prudential Center but wouldn't come out of my way for it. read more
