This restaurant was very home style and quaint. I loved the decor of the wagon outside! Food was fresh and tasted great! I loved the biscuits and gravy! Great flavor all around! Service was fast! We got seated right away and good came out fast as well. It's a small restaurant and def gets packed in the mornings. Overall great experience

You come to the wagon wheel for that small town cafe feel and good home cooking. You don't come if you're looking for a trendy, bright, sterile aesthetic. This is where you'll find the old Cave Creek locals who have been coming for years. This is where you'll find reasonable prices for good food. Biscuits and sausage gravy is my favorite breakfast, and these were fine, but the standout is the chicken fried steak! It's lightly breaded, so you get full flavor instead of just breading. It's just the right amount and not too filling. There's something about having a simple cup of coffee amongst old cowboys, a screened-in porch, and John Wayne photos. Reminds me of childhood.

Great biscuits and gravy (nice and peppery). Good eggs (not overcooked), bacon and potatoes (crispy) and coffee and service. Greasy Authentic diner experience.

Great coffee, great ambience, great food. Spanish omelette (fluffy & cheesy) with cheese and salsa with fried potatoes.Cinnamon raisin toast. Perfect. Ambience is western, it is called the Wagon Wheel. Pull off the hot & dusty road and grab some good grub. The staff is very nice & polite, too.

**July 2026: Wednesday Night**…read more During our Arizona road trip, my friend and I made a spontaneous stop in Cave Creek and were instantly drawn to the town's western charm. We were looking for an authentic saloon experience, and Harold's Corral seemed like the perfect fit. We came on a Wednesday evening and were seated in a booth. The place was already bustling, and there was live music that night, which made the whole atmosphere feel really lively and fun. We each enjoyed a bottle of sarsaparilla and a prime rib dinner, which was the special of the night. The food was decent, but honestly, the vibe was the real highlight for me. They have live bull riding on Wednesday and Friday evenings, which sounded really cool. We were pretty wiped out and still had an hour of driving ahead of us, so we didn't stay for that part, but it definitely made me want to come back another time. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to return on a Friday night to check out the children's mutton riding competition, which I heard is especially cute.

Patio is comfortable and cool even in summer. Far superior to Buffalo Chip in my opinion. The beer is cold and the service is generally always very good (special shoutout to River who we had today and was absolutely excellent). The food is bar food (not my favorite) but some good options are the burger and the wings. My husband likes the fried chicken. Breakfast is pretty good and the build your own Bloody Mary is nice with lots of toppings.

Julie was amazing to work with and accounted for every detail, included a welcoming sign and each place had it's own personalized menu card with his name and wishing him a happy birthday on it. The food was all amazing and the desserts were even better. We were on a slight sugar overload because we not only got the dessert that came as part of the prefixed meal, but they also brought out a 'birthday dessert' which was a giant slice of birthday cake, the creme brulee, and apple pie a la mode. It was a great touch but a lot of sweets. Some points to note but nothing to really 'complain' about... Other staff did come in to grab supplies from the supply closet which didn't bother us too much but some might think that it would feel like you were placed off into a supply closet turned 'private dining' rather than a true private dining room. The AC didn't seem to be working well so extra fans were brought into the room which helped slightly but it was still quite warm in the room. There is a steep ramp about 2 feet long that made getting in and out of the room a little challenging for my father in law with his walker and overall balance, but otherwise was not an issue. Overall it was a great experience and the party guests were very complimentary of the whole thing!

She responds so quickly and always addressed every question, idea, etc I presented. I loved getting to work with Julia, she is such an asset at Keelers. I cannot say enough good things about her! Overall, we had a good experience. They were very nice to provide a vegan option for one of our guests. The food was hit and miss with some dishes (like the NY Strip) being great and others being not so good (like the Prime Rib (although it was massive in size!) and Salmon). Our server Maria was great! She had a full section on the patio and then us off in the private room and she did a great job providing us with good, quick service and we loved her banter as well. All the staff we interacted with were really nice. We enjoyed being in the private room and not having to worry about disrupting other dinners, but there were some quarks with the private room. Staff often came in to access some kind of storage room within the room, we would have loved the ability to control the music ourselves, which was on when we arrived but stopped part way through out meal. The room is also separate from the rest of the restaurant, I assumed it would have been inside the same building but it is off the patio in it's own building and down a very steep ramp.

Preston's wasn't as loud and headed towards quiet as the seemingly sleepy town of Scottsdale was rolling up the sidewalks. Our server was great and the assistants were almost oppressively present. Constantly asking to clear plates and offering other things. They also liked to linger a little too close and chat amongst themselves. One dull spot in an otherwise bright evening. We had a filet and lamb which were better portions than some of the other huge offerings elsewhere. Also the Preston's salad which was really good. My wife liked the bread more than I. The meat was well prepared just needing a little more salt. And the lobster Mashed potatoes was good and didn't skimp on lobster. We had several drinks which were quite good too. The server gifted us with a dessert and I selected the Butter cake. It wasn't what I hoped for, just ok. The ice cream and fruit that came with was nice. All and all a very nice evening. Much appreciated. 4.2 rounds down to 4.

The food was also excellent! The calamari had excellent flavor and I loved that the lemon had a mesh cover so no lemon seeds got into the dish as you squeezed it over the calamari.. The cheese tray was also good, but the goat and sheep's cheese are definitely for those that like that type of cheese. They are heavier on flavor. The candied pecans and dried fruit were a wonderful addition. The fig spread was also quite good. It wasn't so much a jam... More like mashed up figs. My husband got the prime rib and it was amazing! Probably some of the best prime rib I've ever had. Our friends got the Tuscan steak. They said it was really good but didn't have much of a crust on it. I had the Delmonico steak... I asked for it medium but it was more on the medium well side.. so I didn't enjoy it as much as I probably would have. The chimichurri sauce was excellent. The sear on the outside of the steak added a good flavor and crunch. The side of bread that comes with the meal is amazing. I could have eaten a whole loaf by myself. For the sides... The brussel sprouts were good but nothing amazing. Same with the sauteed mushrooms and onions. I did absolutely love the loaded baked potato. I did not try the other potato but heard it was good. The martini was delicious. Not too sweet and not too heavy on the alcohol. For dessert, the butter cake is okay but for it being a signature dish, I expected more. The cookie and the brownie were also good but nothing I would be craving again. The creme brulee had an excellent flavor and definitely stood out among the desserts we had.. My friends also got the Preston's salad..I was able to try a roasted beet..it had a wonderful flavor to it. The service was great! I only wish they weren't so quick to take away plates...I was finishing up a strawberry on one of the desserts and they took my plate so I had no place to stick my strawberry stem. So... Overall Service 9.5/10 Food 8.5/10 Ambiance 10/10 I would have upped the service to 10/10 if they hadn't removed plates so fast... I would have upped the food if my steak had been prepared medium instead of medium well and the desserts had more of a "wow" factor.

We shared the Bang Bang Shrimp, a favorite of ours. The flavor was great as always, although this batch seemed to have a little more batter than usual. Not a big issue, just something we noticed. I also loved the addition of diced tomato and avocado, which added texture. The sliders were a good size. We added a side of truffle fries, which unfortunately fell flat. They looked like regular fries and, while they did have some truffle flavor, they were missing the Parmesan cheese and seasoning that typically make truffle fries stand out. They were okay, but a bit disappointing. We had a nice lunch. The only downside was the price. For one appetizer, one lunch entrée, fries, and one cocktail the total came to over $75, which felt a little steep for lunch.
