    Banana Latte

Stopped by for a quick coffee and decided to try the Banana Bread Latte. It was pretty good and the foam on top was the best part. Its a cute cafe but it was so cold I could not stay and work. Everyone was super friendly and its a great location though, next time Ill bring a sweater lol

Came to try WAH Coffee for the first time, and it was a great experience! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and welcoming voices. The staff was incredibly friendly, the space is spacious and inviting, the pastries looked delicious, and there was a great variety of drink options. The brown butter salted maple latte was especially tasty. I'd definitely recommend this coffee shop for a study session, coffee date, book club, remote work, or just a relaxing weekend visit. I took off one star because the banana bread latte wasn't my favorite. It had an unusual aftertaste that kept me from finishing it. The brown butter salted maple latte also had a slight aftertaste, but it was much more enjoyable overall and I'd happily order it again.

We always want to come and try this place out for a long time. Nice and clean coffee store with a lot of sitting areas. 5 stars for the staffs- they are every friendly. The coffee is super mid and crazy expensive for what it is. Tastes like flavor milk.

First time trying Wah Coffee! We were in the area for an appointment and decided to stop by. Originally we were interested in matcha, but we went with espresso instead. This was recommended by the barista so that we could get a taste of the original drink. We were welcomed and greeted upon entering and the baristas were attentive and answered all of our questions! Ordered the Banana Bread Latte and the Brown Butter Salted Maple Latte with oat milk. The drinks were uniquely flavored and tasty. Only grievance is that the banana bread latte was a little messy. The drinks were iced. The straws were flimsy and difficult to get inside the cup. Aside from that, they were yummy! Overall, Wah is a nice coffee shop that I'd recommend. Definitely a coffee shop I'll be adding to my coffee collection list. Nice space to get work done, socialize, read, and enjoy some good coffee. Wonderful service!

I'm not sure why they used candles but the smell didn't match what you would expect a coffee shop to smell like. I would have liked the natural smell of coffee but the smell of the coffee mixed with the scented candles were unpleasant. I tried the coconut strawberry matcha and it had a fruity refreshing flavor, it was a bit sweet. The other one I tried was the matcha cubed. It was creamy and I got it half sweet and honestly that was the perfect amount of sweetness. The matcha flavor is subtle but everything blended well together with the milk and matcha. Service was fine.

The barista was super friendly! The coffee was good! Probably wouldn't get the matcha again considering the price/taste/size ratio. This shop is located in a plaza so it can get a little busy.

Cute, friendly service. Coffee was good but sadly tasted nothing like banana bread. Also tried the cheese danish which was ok.

Vibe- Cool coffee shop in Montrose! There's different seating options inside and plenty of seating outside as well. Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I enjoyed the iced strawberry matcha. Parking- There's a good amount of parking spots in the lot.

New location finally open! I stopped by to try Wah Coffee for the first time & I ordered : - Matcha Latte with matcha foam - Caramel latte with cold foam One thing to note is the matcha latte will be unsweetened if you don't add a flavor. Normally the sweet foam or cold foam adds a touch of sweetness. The normal cold foam they offer is sweet & super good (ordered with caramel latte) However the matcha foam (ordered with matcha latte) was not sweet. For their customer service I think it would be helpful to ask people if they would like to add a flavor or if they are ok with no sugar in the beverage they are purchasing. If I would've been asked this I would've switched my matcha to instead have regular cold foam. Instead of matcha foam. I was not disappointed because they have good quality matcha! So although no sugar was in my drink I enjoyed it as I prefer less sugary drinks. The quality of matcha should still be enjoyable without sugar & they offer that here! I would be interested in buying their matcha powder and would come back. Interior is spacious, nice and cozy to work for a bit or to hang out.

This spot is awesome and Andrew is amazing. Good energy. Delicious dranks.

Went to the new Wah Coffee in Montrose to study. This place used to be a Starbucks. I got the matcha^3 which has a matcha cold foam. This place was really packed so I had to sit at the bar. It is really cold inside so I would recommend bringing a jacket or sweater. Their matcha is not as strong as other places but the sweetness still makes it good. It's pretty pricey here tho.

The lavender matcha was so good! I have to go back and let the mans try their coffee cause I'm not a coffee person but the flavors all sounded nice! Friendly staff with spacious tables that have outlets so great for her studying/working. I think they're flavor was so good and you can see them whisking it behind the bar.

Salted caramel latte with oatmilk 10/10!

I stopped in after seeing a content creator rave about this place, and it definitely lived up to the hype! I ordered the Salted Caramel Latte with oatmilk, and my friend got the Banana Bread Latte with oatmilk. The Salted Caramel Latte was an easy 10/10. It was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, but just sweet enough. The caramel flavor was rich, decadent, and the foam was an incredibly smooth addition. I would absolutely order it again. As for the Banana Bread Latte, the coffee flavor was a little stronger than I preferred, so I'd give it a 7/10. That said, my friend really enjoyed it, so if you like a bolder coffee flavor, you'll probably love it. The ambiance was warm, modern, and inviting, with enough seating if you're looking for a place to study, work, or just relax. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and patient, I didn't feel rushed while deciding what to order, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Barista was rude and seemed annoyed. Coffee and matcha were horrible in my opinion. Better off going to La La Land or Starbucks!

We all ordered different milks -- whole, skim, coconut, and oat -- and they were able to accommodate all of us! I really liked my iced latte, which was rich without being overly floral or sweet. The pastries were also a hit, including the lemon poppy muffin, cherry turnover, chocolate croissant, and the spinach, mushroom, and cheese danish. The outside of this coffee shop and apothecary doesn't exactly have curb appeal, but the inside is bright, clean, and stylish, combining sleek lines with softer botanical elements to create a welcoming space. The barista was... indifferent at best, borderline unfriendly at worst. We did ask a couple questions that seemed to irritate her, but we were the only people in there, so we weren't holding up a line or anything. It was a bummer to feel unwelcome, but we were getting the coffee and pastries to go regardless, so it didn't ruin our breakfast.

New favorite coffee/study spot in Houston! This place is (I…read morethink?) in Montrose area, and a gem with parking both in front (with spaces) and street parking available. The baristas/servers are so friendly, and the shop truly feels homey. Perfection for studying, with inside ample tables/chairs with nearby outlets as well as some comfy chairs and a couch. There's also a cute covered outside area which I'm sure I'll experience post summer time. They have a few yummy looking food options at a great price point - including tamales and baked pastries. I picked the chicken tamale as a light lunch - I got the most delicious chicken tamale I've had thus far, served with kettle crinkle chips and a tamale sauce to dip. There are many coffee/non coffee options. I opted for the iced horchata latte - agree with prior reviewers that this is delish. It is not too sweet and a great blend of vanilla and cinnamon that masks the espresso. The atmosphere here is cozy but focused, with a mixture of people working/studying and hanging out. 10/10 will be back.

There's a lot of coffee shops in the Montrose area but this has been one of my favorite.
