Still, I was able to find a spot quickly. Walking in, there's a sign that says "Wait to be seated", but when the waitress came out, she said we could sit wherever we wanted. We chose a booth by the window. I don't know how old this restaurant is, but I could tell that the booth we chose was really popular because the leather seats were so worn down that they had to patch some of the holes up. As soon as we were seated, we were immediately given menus, water, chips, and salsa. The salsa was really spicy, though, so as much as we love chips and salsa and would normally have finished it all off before our actual meal came, we could only eat half of it. Across from us was a big family of Latinos which for me was a good sign. After all, if they're Latino themselves, they could easily just make the same food at home, but if the food here was good enough for them to come here instead, then the food had to be decent. Since I'm vegetarian, I had to ask for them to not put meat in my enchilada, so the waitress just made it a cheese one. If you're vegetarian like me, there's not really much on the menu for us, but at least they're accommodating enough to leave the meat out if you ask. If you're vegan, you're really out of luck since it seems everything will have at least melted cheese on top. All of the food came out quickly and at the same time, which is appreciated since not all restaurants do that. In addition, the portions were big enough for us to eat most of it there, then be full enough to want to take the rest of it home, which makes up for the cost since it is a little expensive. Again, I don't know how old the restaurant is, but you could tell it's been aged through the years, like the paint is peeling off or splattered with what looked like salsa. Definitely a hole in the wall kind of place. On the other hand, if it's been around long enough to go through that kind of wear and tear, it's a testament to the loyalty of its customers. Plus, they do try to make it look nice with balloons, flowers, and flags. And they try to clean up the tables as soon as people are done eating. I just finished eating my leftovers and it tasted as good as it did when I ate it at the restaurant. So the food is good, the sizes, especially for the cost, are decent. Just know that the place is a little worn down, but the employees try their best to smile, be friendly, and quick to attend to your needs.

Went here a few days ago with my mom. When we walked in we noticed the manager or shift lead was being very rude to her employee. The manager or shift leads name was Mariam and she just kept bugging the employee. Every minute me and my mom looked she was complaining about something to this young girl and just kept going on and on about everything she is doing wrong, doesn't this reflect on you for not training her properly? Food wasn't even that good but the way employees are treated says alot about the company. read more

When I arrived, I spoke with an employee who informed me that my order was being prepared. I could see a clear bag containing what appeared to be my order sitting on the counter. I asked about the churro pancakes, as I have ordered them before and knew they would typically be packaged separately in a clear container. I was assured that everything I ordered was already in the bag. A manager then came over and explained that they were out of churro pancakes and that they were a breakfast item. She offered me a churro as an alternative, which I appreciated. I want to be clear that I am not upset about the restaurant being out of an item. I understand that inventory can run out, and I also understand that DoorDash may not always reflect the most current availability. What was most disappointing was the way the situation was handled and the tone used when speaking with me. I felt as though I was being made to feel responsible for the mistake, when I had simply ordered an item that was listed as available on DoorDash. I was only trying to understand where the item I had ordered was. Unfortunately, when I arrived home, I discovered that my taco was also missing from the order. Additionally, my burrito was extremely soggy and appeared as though it had been sitting for an extended period of time. I understand that mistakes happen, and I am usually very understanding when they do. However, customer service and the way customers are treated are just as important as the food itself.
