I want to be fair to this establishment but I also want to give a true account of what I experienced so I can help others. First off, I understand it's a tough call to cater to the varied levels of education and of tolerance to delta 8. I've seen some reviews here that people didn't feel anything being heavy smokers. With that being said, I think there needs to be way more guidance at the store and on the online menu. I'm a newbie to delta 8 (and don't use much delta 9 either), my husband is more well versed but still far from a frequent user. I thought it would be fun to grab a couple of pastries and have a light buzz for one or two hours so I went to the store and got a micro of a blueberry muffin for myself and a mid cheesecake for my husband. I probably should've done a quick Google search, but it honestly didn't cross my mind that anything super strong would be sold here so casually. The muffin was not huge and again, no guidance so I had the whole thing. My husband had only half of the cheesecake. Suffice it to say, we both proceeded to be completely stoned for 12+ hours. I got incredibly sick and vomited at one point, and even then still was high. I later stumbled around google and I saw some sources saying a newbie should not have more than 20 mg to not have an uncomfortable experience. That muffin was 30mg, and I think I should have only had ten mg. It was one of the worst experiences I have had with any THC product. Now I am sure I could be more educated on this, but as a store carrying a relatively new product, this establishment has a responsibility to keep their customers, no matter what level of expertise they have, informed to the best of their ability. The storefront representative could have simply asked me "do you need any help with this?" I would have told her what I was looking for and she could have suggested I have only a third of the muffin - there are ways around this that I really think you should explore. read more

The Lakeview area location is pretty horrible. The experience was rushed. It was dark inside could barely see the products with no prices available, except cost of drink infusion (not the cost of the drink itself). False advertising w the chalk board outside saying they had pre rolls then not having ANY. The brownie was undercooked and was still wet in the middle ( a quick check w a toothpick or a fork would've told them to leave them in the oven a moment longer). They didn't have any utensils for the deserts they offered. I asked for them to consult me bc I haven't taken Delta 8 before, yet they didn't even ask questions regarding my tolerance and just told me to go w the "fuck it". I wouldn't go to that location EVER again. I was extremely High!!! so that's why I will give them a 6/10. I spent over $150 for 2 SMALL coffees, and 3 snacks. read more

So this is my 1st time in Chicago I was a bit tired my cousin she recommended this place so we walk there and the juice you get to pick the amount of THC that you want. I'm a person who is not familiar with THC, So I did order the lowest amount in my juice and that was the best thing ever. On Friday the 9th I went in with my mom as she had had a long day traveling into Chicago from Alabama. I go at least once a week for a lemonade and couldn't wait to share the place with her and go watch a show at the laugh factory. She came around the counter and went straight to the other couple and then turned to us and said... YOU HAVE TO LEAVE IF YOU DONT SHOW ID. I was so taken off guard by this because I have went 10-20 times since moving there in January and they always ID me at the counter. I assume this was practice. The service is always the best, LOVE charles. Anyway, I was pissed this was happening when I was with my mom and it seemed targeted towards the couple as well. I asked her why she was acting this way and she rolled her eyes. ....That really got me. We proceeded to order and as we finished, a group of dudes in Cubs jerseys came in and she looked up at them, counted my money back and then greeted them. Then they started to order... then pay... and no ID check. I went up to her and asked why she didn't ID them and she said ... I did. The other couple sprang to my defense and said.... no you didn't?? She rolled her eyes again and I asked her name. She said Samantha. I don't know if this is true or not but she was a skinny female presenting person with curly hair. Drove all the way from Shorewood with my husband just to check them out. (I first saw them on TikTok) They did not disappoint. I am a HUGE edibles fan and am quite particular when it comes to taste. We bought $200 worth of edibles and honestly these were some of the best I've ever tasted. They not only tasted great but smacked really hard as well. I didn't taste THC in anything I ate but I sure as hell felt it. *40mg usually does the trick for me with literally any edible and these did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly and this seemed like a really cool place! My boyfriend and I smoke fairly regularly like a few times a week. When we've smoked delta 8 before it hasn't hit us as hard so we figured we would be fine, I got the lowest level of delta 8 in my latte and he got the second lowest. I drank about half of my 30mg latte and eventually had the worst high I've ever had. We were both high for 10+ hours and it was not enjoyable at all. I was shocked to see that regular smokers didn't feel anything at all from the 120mg drinks. I'm not sure if they need to be more careful about measuring the amount of THC they put in their drinks or what but I will not be returning. read more
