oooohhhhh i had to have the 99cent slurpee-----cherry and rasberry (40/60%) after a bike ride. i know it wasn't the healthiest choice-but it did list artificial and NATURAL flavors. As my fellow rider and i were walkin' back out the door we had a homeboy trying to pick our bike lock. the homeboy saw me lookin' at him---he stopped and quickly walked away to a bus stop nearby...but he kept lookin' back with his transportation challenged (t.c.)accomplice. it was dark by now, so i decided to have fellow staff pick us up. as we drove away... we looked back at the t.c. idiots. read more

I will never set foot in this store. I had chickenpox and sent my wife in to get calamine lotion while I waited in the car. She came back saying the pharmacy guy wouldn't sell it to her because it didn't cure the chickenpox. I don't want a cure; I want relief! I had to go inside the store while I was at the height of my infection! The guy practically jumped over the counter to get it before I started touching the shelves. Have my hard to find eye drops and .99 cent Arizona teas. I usually stop here on the way to the bowling alley. It's near by and it's a huge one, from what it feels like when I first walk in. It's overwhelmingly large sometimes. LOL. The cashier is very nice. We always seem to see the same one, my wife and I. The drinks are always well stocked, unless there is some huge blow out sale. They carry these eye drops that my wife and I have a hard time finding. So, that's a plus, to always know where I can find them. The aisles are always kept clean, free of fallen merchandise. That's something that I can really appreciate. read more

Then going to go to Walgreens for a long time and usually when I ask for something I can't find they've been helpful to show me where it is. My bone of contention is used to get their circular and look at it and I used to buy different things after looking it over out of the Sunday paper. I get the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. They used to put the circular there in the Sunday paper but after checking with them now they don't do it any longer. I live in West Covina in the 91790 area. I have no clue why they think we are not good enough to get that circular delivered to us along with all the other advertisements from other department stores. Right down to the red headed cashier that can't help but to roll her eyes and look at the clock constantly. I will be going else where from now on. I changed my Rx to this location because my insurance told me I could get in 3 month increments. Ive been here 4 times now and this will be the last time! The pharmacists I have had to deal with speak limited English. No, I wasnt able to get my meds in 3 month increments. To save myself any further frustration I'm going back to CVS across the street! My second visit same pharmacist and my name is not common but, he tried to give me someone else' meds because my name sounded like the one he tried to give me!!! I get medication not a shopping list of meds! Today was my breaking point when I came in response to a text message and he scolded me telling me to be more careful reading what they are sending! I kept my cool but, I was upset. Here's a man who hasn't mastered the English language filling prescriptions and cant even pronounce the medications! CVS I'm transferring back and reporting to my insurance which was the only reason I changed in first place. read more

After driving an hour to this location, I came in looking for arnica Montana tablets where I viewed that Walgreens carried. No where on the website did it say that it was only sold online. I went to the front and asked for assistance when the cashier called over her "manager" Alice. She came over and asked me what I needed, after showing her the picture online she rudely told me that they don't carry it in the store. I asked her "why didn't it show that on the site?" She then told me "what do you mean 'why'? There are things we sell in the store and then there are things we sell online and this is one of them, obviously. What do you mean why??" VERBATIM. She told these exact words to me. Her non professional response and attitude told it all. When I began to leave pretty upset, she started laughing and sarcastically said bye. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. And if this is supposedly management, they need to get new management and train their employees better. I would never come here again and probably never to any other Walgreens. read more

I went there Tuesday 7-5-16 dropped off a prescription around 2p.m. they said they do not have in stock and will need to order it, on Wednesday I called after work they completely forgot to call it in so lost a 2nd day, then they said insurance would not cover it I said fine I will pay cash, more run around, they said we are busy , asked me to call my doctor for another prescription after 2 days this is what they tell me, I asked why didn't you call me, answer (we are busy) the 3rd day they finally called my doctor and said they can"t get item, 3 days and that's the answer they gave my doctor, 3 days lost doing business with walgreens , if there to busy why not hire more people, very very unprofessional I got excuse after excuse for there incompetence, walgreens you need to hire people that can do there job and not hand out excuse after excuse. I was going to Rite aid in Monrovia but moved to Covina never had a problem with Rite aid for over 40 years, sad that walgreens can't measure up to there competitors, there is a saying in business: if you don't take care of your customers someone else will, looks like someone else will be taking care of my business. update: just got off phone with another local pharmacy and under 10 minutes my order was taken care of, well done Walmart just down the street form this wallgreens , I can't believe wallgreens took 3 days and still could not do there job and Walmart took 10 minutes over phone and I was taken care of. wallgreens you need to do a better job or replace the pharmacy staff all together. read more

just called to see if they had a certain item in stock in the beauty dept. and was transferred to the rudest drugstore rep i've ever met. dunno her name but she has a thick phillipino accent. before i could even finish my question she yells into the phone " AHHHH LIMITED EDITION???? I ALREADY RETURNED IT!!" confused...so i asked her "it just came out this month and you returned it? was it defected? did it sell out??? please explain" she was like "it said in the system to return so i did that". ok so i ask her again this time more slowly and clearly because i felt she didnt understand what i was asking for since she kept calling the product i was asking for by a different name. she then goes "*SIGH* i guess ill have to go look but i havent seen anything like that" {she said this with an exasperated tone} like damn if you hate your job so much then QUIT! no one wants to hear your damn attitude. on top of that she kept talking over me while raising her voice. it sounded like she was arguing with me. **like why?????** why are you trying to argue with a customer. yea i'm going to get her name and report her to corp. read more
