This Walgreens is the worst. The pharmacy had absolutely horrible service, IF you get service AT ALL! There are 3 pick up windows which are all normally void of pharmacist, therefore, the pick up line is always super long. It took 40 mins with 4 people in line to pick up a prescription with no questions or consultation. This is unacceptable!!!! This place was pretty big and organized. I was able to find what I needed and the cashier that worked there helped us get a buy 1 get 1 50% off deal that wasn't going through on the computer. She was kind enough to make the adjustment and even go back to the aisle to make sure we grabbed the correct items. I'll definitely be back here when I need anything! read more

This review is base on Photo Center... I went in 2 weeks back to take passport pictures. Price was at $14/per person for 2 photos This place was close so I went ahead with them. Came here on a weekday after 4pm on a weekday, the photo center was not busy... The tech who took my girls picture was quick, but messed up on 1 of the picture... Per USPS the picture was not taken correctly!!!! Really!!!! So I called Walgreens and spoke to a female rep, probably Managment and she said she would retake the picture for Free.... I just don't understand how this pharmacy stays in business. I'd like to use the app that lets one pay before picking up a prescription, but the internet or WiFi doesn't work inside the store. One has to find the prepayment page & keep it open until you finally get waited on inside. If going through the drive-through, it takes on average of at least ten minutes per car to get to the window - in what is supposed to be only a drop off or pickup window. I waited 24 minutes for two cars this afternoon, just to get to the window, then was asked to wait while the person dealt with something else - 29 minutes just to get one prescription. Also, one can't use prepay & get service outside in the drive through. We didn't have these issues prior to having to change to Walgreens by our insurance company. read more

redbox is awesome and close by my girlfriend's place. I come here usually to find all the new released in stock (thank God) I also enjoy their food and drinks aisles. I hardly shop here unless its at most an emergencey. The indian cashier is very friendly and always seems on top of his game. I wish all the cashiers were the same but now that I recall one of the employees failed to mention sale I was aware of and charged me regular price. I was in a rush to leave so I did not bother. The absolute worst. I would leave negative stars if I could. Line is long and the slowest moving thing in the world. And cell service is terrible so can't even use your phone so you're just left alone with your thoughts. For some reason they only processed my insurance for one of my prescriptions and then the computer froze when they tried to use my insurance for my other one so they told me to sit down and wait until they figure it out and call me back. I was then ignored for an hour and a half so I went back to the counter to follow up and they had forgotten about me. They then said insurance doesn't cover this medication which is completely false because I've been using this prescription with insurance with this specific Walgreens in the past! Which I said to them and even showed them my purchase history with them that backed it up. They then said to come back tomorrow and they'll try it again. Avoid this pharmacy if one can. It's a 24 hour pharmacy right next to major hospitals. That's why it is super popular and they have scripts like no other place I have seen. If one can wait, check out some other pharmacies in the area where it is not 24 hours and I'm am sure they are not nearly as packed. They are really understaffed at night. I waited on the phone forever once and I decided it was better to wait in line. At least they will answer me when I've waited. read more

I don't recommend this pharmacy at all! They always have long waits, minimum 30-45 mins just to drop off and then in line to pick up is minimum 45 mins. Avoid going on weekends. Went in today to drop off and 3 windows were closed due to computers not working. I took a COVID test at this place on Monday (03/22). I called them up for status on 03/25 and no proper response. Then I called Labcorp where my specimen was supposed to be sent. I was shocked to hear that there was no record of my specimen at Labcorp even after three business days. On calling Walgreens again to check what was going on, they confirmed that my sample was still with them on 03/25. This is totally unacceptable and absolutely ridiculous customer service keeping in mind that they do collect our insurance details and bill our insurance company. I have been going to this Walgreens for 35 years. Tonight was the last straw and I will be transferring all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I have several meds that I take daily. For at least the last 5 years, there has been some problem or issue picking up my regular prescriptions almost every single month. I use the Walgreens app which sends a text saying prescriptions are ready for pickup, but when I show up they have no prescriptions for me, or my med is out of stock or some other lame problem that requires a 2nd or 3rd trip to retrieve my meds. Tonight I am in pain and in need of a new medication asap. My Doctor sends over the prescription, but at 7 pm, it isn't ready. I ask the guy at the counter if the pharmacy is open 24 hours. I had heard that it wasn't open 24 hours any longer. The guy assured me they were. I left and came back at 9:30 pm only to find the pharmacy shut down. I asked for the Manager and she, unapologetically said, I'm sorry there's nothing I can do. The guy who told you that is in training and he doesn't know. I don't know what's going on Walgreens, but you just lost a long time customer. From all the other reviews, it sounds like I'm not alone. read more

If I could give this location zero stars, I would absolutely do it. I was visiting the Walgreens on Mowry Ave today at 4PM to use up some rewards that are expiring on my account. I tried to buy a bag of almonds for $4.79 and I showed the barcode in my app, in which I opted to redeem $4 in rewards and then bill the remaining balance to my credit card on file. The cashier scanned the app and would ask me for my telephone number, which I provided, but the cashier kept saying that it would not work. (This is actually not the first time that a cashier at this location has said my telephone number is invalid even though it's worked at every other Walgreens I've ever visited; I travel quite a bit for work so I've been to a fair few from the Bay Area down to San Diego.) We tried this three times. Eventually, I gave up and left the store with the intent to purchase items through the website instead. When I got back to my car, I looked at my app and not only was the $4 redeemed on a purchase that was not mine, even after the cashier advised that it was not possible to use my rewards, the cashier also proceeded to use my account to make a second purchase. I went back into the store to show the cashier and the manager that the rewards were inadvertently used on another customer for an unrecognizable transaction. The manager kept insisting that the rewards still had to be in my account since they couldn't use it in the stores and the manager would not even consider looking into their records to see who made these purchases (even though the orders are time stamped in the app). Even when I showed the manager my app that now displays the remaining balance as $1.44, he continued to protest and insist the rewards are on my account somewhere. The whole discussion was completely illogical and beyond frustrating. It was a horrendous experience with abhorrent customer service. If you're on Mowry Ave, just go to CVS instead. One of the smaller, but organized Walgreen's I've been to :) I was in search of a specific item: A Charlie Brown/Peanuts Christmas tree.. you know, the really sad one! I went to another Walgreen's prior to visiting this one and they weren't as helpful as this Walgreen's staff. The other Walgreen's TRIED to tell me where it was located, but never directly showed me where it was. Unsuccessful because their Christmas aisle was a mess! ..but this Walgreen's staff showed me where it was and grabbed them off the shelf for me. This walgreens looks weird on the inside, I guess because you have products right in your face when you enter and you have to awkwardly shuffle around the store to get to the pharmacy, but this Walgreens seems to be stocked with a lot more drugstore products than CVS, especially drugstore beauty products. I don't think I've ever almost impulsively purchased nail polish from a drugstore before. Also, this pharmacy is REALLY popular, I'm guessing because it's right next to Washington Hospital and a bunch of other clinics. Plus, PAMF and Kaiser are down the street. I always see a line at the counter and the drive thru is normally crowded too. And everyone who works there is really nice!
