Jennifer has to be the least friendliest/grumpiest person I have ever encountered at a Walgreens. If you're going to have a bad attitude towards the public, why work in customer service? I have had nothing but positive experiences at this location. Their drive thru is convienent, and even offer my pup milk bone treats! He loves going on a walgreens run with me. The staff is super professional and always on it. CVS could take notes!! This is my favorite Walgreens! Everyone from the cashiers to the photo department is so nice! I'm always greeted with a smile. The ladies in the pharmacy are really personable and sweet. The store is always clean and neat. I like that it is bright inside. The shelves are well organized and things are easy to find. I love the Pharmacy at this location! The entire staff are so nice and helpful unlike other pharmacies I have been to in the past where they are always stressed, frazzled and unhappy. I just went to pick up my mother's prescriptions from this Walgreens today. She had gone earlier in the day to pick them up but was told they could have them filled in an 1 & 1/2. She called and asked me to pick them up and I said yes of course so I went after work. On my way there I called to see the status of the prescription refills and was told only one was ready. I said that can't be because I was coming to pick up 2. I asked if they received the okay to refill one of the medications to which the girl replied well we sent it over to the doctor but haven't heard back. I asked her did you call the office to follow up in which she said no they hadn't. I said I would and in fact called over to her doctor's office and they said the refill order got sent. When I went into the store the guy behind the counter was not very helpful as I stated I spoke directly to the doctors office on my way there and they said it was sent over to them and I provided the date to the guy. He walked off to call the doctor's office and I also called the office myself again. When the woman from the doctor's office came back on the phone she told me that the pharmacist was going to refill it. They filled the second one while I was waiting in line. I have had issues in the past with this pharmacy and won't be using them again for myself. They are not a very nice staff at all. read more

Wow, their cashier was probably the worse I have ever interacted with. I had a cart full, then some, of merchandise. She was so put out at having to work. I walked up and she just kept saying "bags", "bags", "bags" rudely and it sounded like she had to have been talking to someone else saying "begs." She wasn't even looking at me or my kids so we were looking at each other. Finally she looked up and I realized she was trying to ask me if I would like bags to which I apologized for not understanding and I said "yes, ma'am I would like bags, please" and she kind of scoffed. She kept demanding that I take the bags when she filled them "take this..." I thanked her for every bag, handed them to my kids (both 20+ year olds) who politely placed them back in the cart. By this point I think she figured out she was being extremely rude to folks saying please and thank you and she would stumble out please and thank you, much delayed, and it felt like she was painfully struggling to even saying those phrases. It was pretty early and the store was empty with the exception of two folks who came in. After leaving, I found out from my daughter who was with me that this is the only place she had been in that a cashier had told her to have a horrible day. My daughter is very a very polite "southern" girl who was raised to say sir, ma'am, please, and thank you. She didn't respond to him the first time because she thought she misheard him but he repeated himself. When I got home to describe the interaction with my wife she informed me that this is how "that" walgreens staff are. She tries to avoid going there, preferring the more professional CVS off of Crown Valley Parkway. She dreads going there but if she's at Wild Fork next door she tries to rush through as not to draw the ire of the staff there who are usually put off by you just entering the store to interrupt whatever it is that they are doing. Over all I can say that I will drive an extra several miles to avoid this place. Just sad. read more

As far as the actual store, it's a typical pharmacy store where you can get all the typical beauty, wellness and grooming items needed. The staff are pretty friendly and helpful which is a plus! The pharmacy is always (last two months) out of my meds. One month I had to go pick it up at another Walgreens location and this month, I simply waited few days. I don't understand how they don't order supplies according to the regular orders they have for standing prescriptions. It doesn't give me much confidence in this pharmacy. Katherine in the photo section is the BEST! I had a rush order that was huge super last minute...i called pretty late to check to see what was possible. I had called fedex earlier and they totally refused to even try to help me. I had to print about 700 pictures to make photo albums for my sales team...and she told me with ease it would be totally doable for less than a 24 hour turn around. I was skeptical, but lo and behold i went in first thing the next morning and everything was PERFECT! She's amazing, and so nice! Just don't go here! Staff seems pretty nice, but rude and god-complex pharmacist. Why do they think they are smarter and know me better than my doctor??? Why do they have any say on what my doctor prescribes??? If it may interact with another med I'm taking, then please speak up. But if not, please follow the guidance of my doctor and fill my med! We are required to either have home mail service or go to Walgreen's for our prescriptions. Our experience with Walgreen's has been so dismal that we have transferred all our medications to Optum RX to avoid Walgreen's at all costs. After having to cancel our vacation overseas due to illness, my husband went immediately to his doctor's office upon our return and was prescribed medication. He had no choice but to have his prescriptions sent to Walgreen's due to his immediate need for the medication. I came by to pick up the medications several hours later and was told that they were not ready. I asked what time they would be ready. I was specifically told that they would be ready by 4:40pm. I arrived again at 6:00pm and was told the medications would not be available for another 45 minutes. I explained that this was my second trip to pick up these medications and had told they would be ready at 4:50pm. The clerk was unconcerned and responded "We're behind". Quality customer service at this location is non-existent. Avoid this store if at all possible. read more

My experience at the pharmacy was great. My interaction was with Caroline who was very helpful and very cordial. My vaccinations were processed in a very smooth manner. In such a busy pharmacy, she was not only pleasant, her eyes were smiling the whole time to anyone who approached her. I've frequented this location on many occasions. This has actually been my go to pharmacy for well over a year. After tonight's experience with the pharmacist on staff that ends now. From the minute I walked up to the counter she was nasty. Now I understand everyone has their "days". Believe me when I say there was no excuse for this behavior. Bad bad bad Multiple times they have messed up on the prescriptions, quoted pricing only to have it be completely different upon showing up. The pharmacy is bad here. Have them 2 chances and both those were worse than he original. Spoke to the store Manager who informed me that after an hour wait, it could be another hour. I informed him that I would sit at the drive-through and wait until it was ready, he was back within three minutes with the prescription that he told me was physically not able to be filled in under an hour. The pharmacy is incredibly slow, staff made numerous mistakes which added to delays, etc. The first visit for my son's medication was supposed to be 20 mins. It actually ended up taking 50 mins! Second visit, I waited in the drive through for 10 minutes with three cars ahead of me. We never moved forward in that time! Overall, why would I waste my time here when Costco and CVS are so much faster? read more

I typically love this store and about 75% of the workers are very kind and helpful. This review is for one specific worker I am forced to often interact with. I will not name or describe her other than she is often there at night and gives literally 0 effort towards customer service. On more than one occasion now I have called ahead and been told there were items in stock at the store to be told in store by her that they were not in stock. After pushing the issue, she finally found out they WERE in stock after asking. I just avoid interactions with her completely but it makes it not enjoyable calling or visiting the store. read more

The best drugstore in Laguna Niguel or Aliso: I just found out that cheapy Express Scripts won't be accepted here come Jan1; Exp wants to you to use their crappy mail-order system, or worse, CVS. Don't they know you get what you pay for? I want a human helping me with prescriptions, not an automated phone system, and then a robot pretending to be a human after the automated phone system wears me out. Aside from Exp and Walgreens not getting along anymore, come here for the friendly service. The pharmacists, techs, department folks and cashiers are helpful, concerned and cheerful. The prices are good and they have a great selection of OTC items (always been able to find everything I need), snacks, cosmetics and knick-knacks that you will be strangely compelled to buy. All the Walgreens-branded OTC items I've tried are quite good and you should fill up a small basket with that stuff to keep your medicine cabinet well-stocked after you throw out the Neosporin from 1994. Around any holiday, visit their seasonal aisle as there are always good deals to be had there, as well as some unique merchandise. The stores are small and have the essentials. I don't know about you, but I hate going to Target or Costco for Tylenol, because it's better to a) find good parking immediately b) find your product several steps inside the store and c) check out immediately afterward. Most of us really do only want to spend five total minutes inside a store! read more

Went here since they are the absolute closest pharmacy, with minimal driving. Having just been discharged from Hospital, less is more. They were out of a particularly common anti-biotic. Came in for my monthly fill and was told I was early. I happened to have my paperwork from my last fill in the car, and when I returned to show it to the person assisting me, she said that's the date the pharmacist filled the prescription but not the date you picked it up. I was shocked. I've been coming here for years I told her and there has never been an inconsistency with the date on the bottle and their system. She turned the screen around and said you picked it up several days later. And there was a different date in their system than on my paperwork and bottle. She said we go by that date not the date the pharmacist filled it. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I know exactly when it was filled. And that was the normal time that I pick it up - every single month for years. This pharmacy has been in a slow decline the past 6 months, with the pharmacy related customer service. But this whole paperwork and system inconsistency ... Makes me think their playing games or incompetent. I'm done with this pharmacy and the unprofessional treatment of loyal patients. read more

Everyone here is always so cheerful and helpful! A few months ago, my mom was looking for the cooling towels that she saw during the summer for her trip to Vietnam. Being winter, we couldn't find them anymore. The manager, Ann, knew exactly which towels we were looking for and somehow found them at another store for us! My parents just got back from their trip and said that the towels were great! This is my stop when I need tissues, a wedding/birthday cards, a gift cards, pantry hose, toothbrushes, cash (back), and other random items on my way to some special occasion. I know that I can be in and out in just a few minutes. Super convenient! read more

I dropped off a prescription and everything went fine. However, when I returned to pick it up they lost my prescription. One of the lady's was so unhelpful and not friendly. She went and got a co worker who was much better but still unhelpful. I waited for over 20 minutes and left angry with no prescription. They said they would call me back either that night or the next morning and I still haven't heard back from them. Save yourself the trouble and go to another Walgreens pharmacy location or another pharmacy all together. I gave them a one star rating and the only reason I gave them one star is because the male co worker had a lot better customer service and spent a lot of time looking for my prescription. I stop by this Walgreens every other week for their buy one, get one free deals on vitamins and supplements. The store is stocked with all sorts of beauty supplies, toiletries, household tools, and 'As Seen On TV' trinkets along with sodas, snacks, and some dry and frozen goods. I also make sure to take advantage of the 2/$4 energy drinks they have in the coolers. The staff is always very friendly and make it a point to conduct small talk while checking out, which is really quite pleasant. read more

I try hard to find the good in every experience I have. The good in this review is to inform others about how awful the pharmacy is. I handed my prescription to the pharmacist and after a few seconds, he came back and told me that he only had one of the three items and that I'd have to wait a week for the other two while he handed it back to me. He didn't even wait to see if that would be something I wanted to do. He was so uninterested in helping me. I asked if he could call another Walgreens to see if they had them before I drive all over the place. He (James) rudely said no. Seeing his attitude, I asked if he couldn't or wouldn't! He replied he wouldn't. Normally, I'd just walk away, not always knowing quite why people act why they do or what's going on in their own world, but something wasn't sitting right with me so I inquired further. In other pharmacies on other occasions, plenty of pharmacies have called others to stock check this particular set of drugs for me. He tried to tell me it was policy because of the type of drug it was. Knowing this wasn't some Federal regulation, I asked if it was specific to Walgreens. He replied yes. In addition to his "yes", he didn't seem at all interested in helping me understand. Way to go Walgreens; set policy to hinder your customers ability to buy from you. CVS charges me $55 more for the same set of drugs and I'll be buying from them from now on. I understand that all people have bad days, but his attitude coupled with this "policy" to not stock check another store was just bad business. read more
