Came here today to get my tire fixed since I got a flat last night. I was able to easily make an appointment online for today. Staff was super friendly and helped us get it all set up. They were a bit busy at the time so they said it would be at least 40 mins to 1 hr before they could actually check on the car. While we waited we walked to downtown Brea and back. About 1hr 15 mins after checking in, the car was ready. Thankfully they were able to fix the tire, but it was a bit surprising that it was $45. They didn't mention the price before that point. Last minute, I needed service cuz I had dinner plans but had ran over a tire strip on the freeway and my car kept making a lot of noise like I was dragging something. Got home and started calling around. Everyone had availability in an hour and I needed to be done within the hour. Big O Tires came to the rescue. They were getting ready to close up soon, but said they could take a look at my car. I rushed over. They lifted my car and apparently whatever I ran over hit my skid plate and it was dragging and now messed up. They removed it for me and didn't charge me. Said it was on the house. Very cool. Now, I just need to order a skid plate somewhere and have it installed some time. They said I can bring it to them and they'll do it for me. I wish I had some $$ at the time to pay them a little something for helping me out. I only had Bennies and credit cards. I will be more prepared next time! read more

I have been to this location for 3 tire repairs. I have always been very pleased with service and communication at this location. To the crew that was working on 12/5/25 - I was packing the car to attend to a family emergency when I discovered a nail in my tire. I was in a panic and headed straight to Big O Tire where I explained the family emergency and they were very understanding and accommodating. It's been about a year since my visit but I saw another customer post that reminded me to write a review. Got a flat on the 57 and had Triple A tow our car to Big O Tires since they were the only ones with the tires we needed in immediate stock. Changed out 2/4 tires and we were also advised we needed additional services to our 1 year old car. This place is a straight money grabber. After getting our 2 tires installed at Big O Tires, our car would vibrate going over 75 mph which never happened prior. Took the car back to Big O Tires a few days later to inspect - the gentleman did a poor job inspecting and really just walked around the car looking but they never asked to take it back or check further. He said everything looked okay and sent me on my way again. Well - I had to take the car to Costco shortly thereafter to get it properly fixed. Would avoid at all cost. read more

First time reviewer here! I really got lucky when I picked this company to replace my tires. The customer service that was provided by Mike was spectacular. He was honest about the pricing and wash at was involved in the quote, helped me compare other tires to each other, and wasn't pushy about anything. Mike even gave me his charger cuz he knew my battery was low. Facilities were clean and open. The time that it took to replace my tires and perform the alignment was less than two hours. I left and went to American Tire Depot and they fixed the issue in less than 5 min without asking for compensation. Instead of offering to help, the employee seemed annoyed and told me he couldn't check it because it was 'too low.' Rather than providing any assistance or advice, he immediately quoted me $525 for a new set of tires. The lack of customer service and unwillingness to help left me very disappointed. Came in this morning because I had a screw in my tire. I have a brand new electric Mercedes and another shop I had gone to previously was honest with me but they were afraid that they would scratch the rim. So they told me to go to Big O Tires. I walked in and was greeted by Rudy. He was very profesisonal and nice. He took a look at my tire because I was concerned my rim would be a problem but he assured me that he would tell his guys to be extra careful. Also, he noticed I still had the paper plates on my card so he offered to put my real plates on for me. His customer service goes above and beyond. Very grateful for people like him in this car service industry. The only one constructive feedback I can give is that my car has bone colored (almost white) interior. I would take extra care when the guys are getting in and out because I noticed stains on my seats, carpets, and liner. No big deal for me I cleaned them off at home. So maybe place a paper cover on the seats? This will be my go-to now thanks to the great team! read more

Brought my car in for a tire repair, next thing you know they're trying to tell me my ball joints are bad, shocks are busted, fluid is leaking, etc. They say 'we can fix all this' and gave me a quote of over $4k. My car only has 60k miles and runs perfectly. I get routine service on it and none of the issues above have ever been mentioned by the dealer or other mechanics. From reading other reviews, apparently this is a thing they do to customers. They like to use scare tactics and tell you your ball joints and control arms need to be repaired or you could have serious damage. Other people mentioned they say their shocks are busted and leaking, and they said the exact same thing to me...word for word. Wow my wife and I are in our 70s and had a serious blow out on the 57fwy. Triple A had to tow us off and sought a tire dealer to get things fixed up. After a shop not having the right tires he got us to Big O in Brea. It was getting near closing time and Isaac was there and made sure we were taken care of to get us back on the road quickly. I got a flat getting off the 57 Imperial Hwy exit in Brea. I got roadside assistance to put on the spare, but I realized I wouldn't be able to drive very far I scrambled to find somewhere to patch the tire asap. I called this shop and when I told Rudy I live far he said to come right over. Mind you they close at 6 PM and I got there at 5:57. Rudy, Mike, and Christian were all waiting for me to pull up and immediately got to work on fixing my punctured tire. Christian was super fast to repair the hole, then put the tire back on, and remounted the spare!!! Literally done in less than 20 mins and I was back on the road. I wouldn't recommend coming here to people who don't know about tires. I am no mechanic but I do my own regular maintenance; oil changes, coolant flushes, spark plugs, changed my flat tires, bleed my brakes. I'm not oblivious to cars. If you come here and you aren't examining every single line item on your bill, you're getting overcharged. Here are the good things. They were open earlier than everyone else in the area. They were fast, I came on a weekday at 8am and my car was on the lift quickly. They said an hour, it took 45 minutes. The person working the counter was pleasant to talk to, didn't talk condescending when I asked questions. They completed what I paid for. Here are the bad things. What you're being charged for is very predatory. The tires online aren't the ones they have in store. I wanted a tire I saw online but they didn't have the brand in store. The staff told me three options at various prices, with the lowest price around the same as the the brand I wanted which was mid-tier online but it had a smaller factory warranty, which is why I didn't want it. I also wonder if they had more affordable options but didn't suggest them because they didn't make as much off them. Second the staff gave me the prices without the tire warranty, then without me asking after I choose my selection, they said they'll add the tire warranty, like they were doing me a favor, and I had to ask how much that cost. Tire warranties aren't bad, but just tacking them on is bad. Third instead of the two tires I said I needed (the reason I came was a single tire flat but I already knew I would have to do both) to have them say I need all four and an alignment but they don't say why I need all four. No proof or inspection of saying what depth my tire is at, just their word. I did need an alignment, and my tires were worn, however not at absolute needing replacement, these people are just trying to make the most out of you while you're there. Then when I receive the invoice, I read over it and they were charging me for nitrogen. Nitrogen in tires is not a necessity. We didn't talk about this. There is no public location to fill up your tires with nitrogen. It's supposed to make it so that you don't have to fill up your tires, but I'm someone who doesn't really see it as an issue worth the price. I asked about it and the staff tried to tell me the benefit. I took the L here because I am extremely non-confrontational and they had already printed up the invoice and were having me sign it and I didn't want a back and forth about it. But honestly I should have because a tire warranty is definitely worth it more than nitrogen and if I declined that I should've declined the nitrogen. Then after the whole thing they tell me my brake pads are at 4mm and I should consider coming back in soon. I just took off my tires 10 days ago and measured my inner and outer brake pads and my thinnest pad was 5mm. I don't trust this place or recommend it it anyone. read more

The shop employees immediately brought my car into the service bay for an inspection. They discovered the fluid level was low and added more coolant to the proper level.
